Before the knight could reach her, Dory raced forward, thanks to Merlin's speed spell, and grabbed Javonne. Then she picked up the half elf, with her newly acquired strength, and rushed away from the area.

Aaron took the opportunity to strike at the knight again. "Luma! Now!" he said. The small, golden dragon came out, and spat an electric attack at the knight's sword, sending a small shock to the man. "Don't think I'm just an ordinary farm boy. My parents are both wizards, and I'm just as strong!"

The knight received a quick shock, before stiffening up. Then it looked like the armor was empty, the metal suit falling into pieces with loud metal clangs.
Javonne stirred a little in Dory's arms, moaning a little in her unconscious state.

Aaron's sword hit the empty suit of armor and he blinked, surprised. He looked at Luma and patted her head. "Good job. We'd better hurry to Dory and Javonne." he said, sheathing his sword. Then he ran off in the direction Dory went.

"Javonne!" Dory said, slowly coming to as top, though she was nearly a mile away from Aaron. "Good, you're awake!"

"Huh?" said Javonne, blinking a few times before standing up on her own feet. She held her torn top closed. "What happened to the knight? Where's Aaron?!" She looked around quickly.

"I don't know.. Aaron told me to grab you and run. Last I saw, he was dealing with the knight..." she answered, helping Javon down. Then she pulled off her caplet, handing it to the half elf. "Here, put that around your top."

"Thanks," said Javonne, putting on the caplet to cover up her top a little. "B-but... we need to help Aaron! That knight could kill him!"

"Hey, don't underestimate him! Aaron may be an idiot and a naive ditz, but he's really reliable in a fight." she said, crossing her arms over her chest. "He learned swordplay at a young age since he couldn't use magic for the longest time."

"Oh.... Well is he a knight?" asked Javonne, blinking several times. "He could still be in danger...where are we anyway?"

Aaron continued to run towards the girls, though he was still a ways away from them. "Jeez, Merlin, you gave Dory a bigger boost than I thought you did.." he muttered to himself.
As the girls waited for Aaron's arrival, a giant spider suddenly loomed down from the trees, hissing at them. It spat a web at them, hoping to get them stuck.

Javonne looked up in surprise at the spider, and tried to dodge, but got entangled in the web.

Dory also had little time to react as she was ensnared in the spider's web. "Augh! D-dammit! I left my bow back at camp!" she cursed, struggling to get free.

The spider skittered over to them, and started to wrap up Javonne in a webbing, twirling her around in its two front legs.
Aaron soon arrived, bursting through the shrub. He blinked as he saw the spider, and drew his sword quickly, rushing at the spider. "It's just one thing after another!" he said, slashing and killing the spider. Then he cute Dory free before he started to carefully cut open the webbing around Javonne.

"Th-thanks..." said Javonne, blushing dark as he cut her out. "I'm sorry you had to rescue me twice... We...weren't expecting a spider..." She got up and glanced over her ruined outfit with cuts and scrapes, pulling the caplet down a little.
