Getting into that brain of Deimos might prove to be interesting, not to mention taking down the strength of Galactic. She wasn't sure how well this would go, considering the advantage of power Galactic always seemed to have.
This wouldn't stop them from trying.
When Deimos pulled out a strange little box, Faleen blinked, jerking her head back, wondering for only a split second when her Pokedex on her belt suddenly exploded. "AH!" Faleen jerked back, throwing her armsup and staring down at her side, where her clothes were charred. around her everyone else lost their Dex as well. Oh... not good!
Galactic didn't stick around much longer, Faleen watched with a burning face at the clumsy act of the leader before they were gone.
"... I despise them." She muttered, looking down at the pieces of her dex. crouching down to gather them up into her palm. There goes any hope of that new app still being functional... a GPS would have so helped them right now.

Nyx winced and threw her arms over her face when everyone's pokedexes exploded. She braced for her own to explode... but it didn't... What? ".... Mine didn't explode." She sounded shocked, to say the least.

Claire didn't seem to notice when the Galactics made their (un)graceful escape, as her hand immediately flew to her hip as soon as her pokedex exploded. "s**t," she cursed while stumbling to one side, leaning on her left leg to keep the pressure off her right. While the small explosion hurt like.. like she didn't even know, she didn't think there was anything lodged in her leg. That would've been highly unpleasant. It was still highly unpleasant, of course, as deep gashes usually were. But the most unpleasant aspect was the incredibly painful burn attacking her nerve endings. She'd never been burned before, and quite honestly she never wanted to be ever again. Ever. s**t, this sucked.

Take them? Ugh, but she was tired and covered in mine filth and her Pokedex had just exploded at her hip-- What. The sudden pain at her side elicited a start, and Aila promptly removed the thing from her person and chucked it unceremoniously to the ground. Damn it all. If they weren't broken before, they certainly were now. She resisted the urge to punt the thing into the mine; it was still Rocket tech, even if Deimos had had his grubby little hands on it. Distractedly she brushed at the cuts in the fabric of her uniform and on her leg. The perfect end to the perfect day. The only thing that could make this worse was if the transport that was sent to retrieve them crashed as well.
Hopefully a transport would be sent to retrieve them. The fact that Nyx's 'dex was working - for whatever reason - meant that she could request as much. Aila hoped so, anyway. The majority of the group seemed to be relatively unscathed, with the exceptions of Claire and that unfortunate pilot. Aila moved to see to Claire's condition, but hm... Aulus would probably prefer to take care of that himself. Worst case scenario she could offer her Metagross as a seat for the woman. That dealt with - mentally, at least - Aila directed her attention to the unconscious pilot. Unresponsive though he was, the severity of the explosion from his Pokedex seemed to match that of Claire's in intensity, and so he likely needed more medical attention... Needy little man.

"Son of a b***h!" Aulus exclaimed, ripping his 'dex from his jacket pocket as it burst into flames. He was on fire. Saying something much ruder than son of a b***h this time the scarred man beat out the flames, thankful for his thick uniform gloves. Once he was no longer smouldering Aulus inspected the damage with a grimace; it looked like the burns he'd sustained weren't too serious but they certainly weren't comfortable... There was a hole in his jacket and shirt. "Well if that doesn't just take the whole sodding bakery," he growled, "this uniform was new, and that Arceus be-damned poof has got away clean with his pet perv and psycho."
His first mission. Couldn't they at least have got something to show for it other than damaged uniforms, burns, scrapes, and an unconscious pilot? Sandwiches, juice boxes, and making a tit of himself over Claire. Why had he gone and done that anyway? It made no sense, you didn't go flipping out like that over somebody who wasn't even really a friend... Well she wasn't, was she? Well they'd had that nice afternoon out in the city, and there had been their talk down in the pool only a couple of days previously... Well maybe they were friends then, and it was okay to be worried about your friends. It was better if you didn't make such a big deal out of it but it was okay... Friends. Right.
