Amrita found herself on the ground. How she got there she had no idea. Where Petro was she had no idea. All she knew, is that she was on her feet on the snowy ground, and there was a giant something there. Something on fire.
Her eye couldn't get any wider in complete terror than it already was.
Luckily for her, Lizzy looked out for her; the hand grab and the jerking to run brought her out of her terror just long enough to get her to turn and flee as fast as her backwards feet could carry her. She was too scared to even scream. She just ran, gripping onto Lizzy tightly.

This time, however, the lightning dragon wasn't NEARLY so successful and a scream ripped through the air as one of the flames caught him square in the chest......
And then he was gone.

It was kind of amazing that West found the breath to laugh, considering all the running for his life he was doing. He glanced over at the hand he held in between hysterical guffaws. Yep, still attached to a ghoul. He continued doing the only thing he could at this point - dodge, duck, dip, dive and dodge.

Jericho tucked his wings and rolled out of the way of the balls of flames that had rained down from the sky. Expanding them once more when he was in the clear, he kept moving at top speed, not sure how the hell he was going to handle this. He could try to get close to strike it, but what good would that do? Even with his pride, he didn't know how the hell he could damage it.
Though if there was one thing he had in common with this thing... aside from the fire and dragony aspects... was that he wanted to see this land burn.
He just didn't want to burn with it.

Eeeep! The fireballs were getting harder to dodge now. He lost count of how many times he had almost ran right into one. Did they even have a chance of survival!? Damn it! And he thought the plaid elephants were bad!? This was a million times worse! SERIOUSLY! WORST. TRIP. EVER!

If she was cold before, she regretted ever wishing that she would be warm. As the fire engulfed her, Lizzy let go of Amrita's hand as she vanished with the fire - it was over too quickly for a scream to be heard.

Alwine continued to jump to and fro, and finally tried to drift away. But it was too late. The haunt was enveloped in an orb of flames, and when it dissipated there was only mist and an echo:

Somehow, Jack only knew how, they were still in one piece and runnin at too speed. Ducking, dodging, anything and everything to avoid the giant balls of all consuming fire that threatened them.
Was.. Was that laughter? "Are you laughing?" She demanded from behind him, barely able to speak as they ran for their lives. "What in the blazes is so funny?!"

Amrita just kept running, holding onto Lizzy for dear life...and suddenly, Lizzy was no longer there. Stumbling in the snow, the Vetala fought herself to stay on her feet, her limbs locking in complete terror as it rained fire left right and centre.
"LIZZY!" She cried out, those tears coming back down her cheeks. Her friend was gone. Gone...but the fire was still there, and she had to try and keep going.

Jamais too disappeared in a poof of flame. However, there was no scream unlike the others that had. She was laughing at the fact of how ironic this was.

PHASE 3: At this point, it wasn't about attacking this monstrous Death Charm, it was more about surviving the hellfire. The creature roared one more time, ready to attack and put all the remaining survivors out of their misery...
 " Say your prayers students, this breath here will be your last. "
It reared back and stood on both hind legs, mouth burning with flames.
"Halt trespasser! You are not allowed on these sacred lands!"
Death Charm looked left, and then right, and finally down.
It was Jingleberry, and he was not dead.
"You shall not pass!" Shouted Jingleberry up at the monstrosity that was almost twenty times taller than him.
Death Charm roared loudly, a cacophonous laugher that shook the trees and shook the earth. "What are you going to do about it, you puny creature."
Jingleberry simple stood his ground, and eyed Death Charm levelly. "I," he stated calmly, drawing his Bushido Sword with one hand, "Am going to punch you in the face."
And he did, slamming Death Charm square in the jaw with his free fist. So heavy was the impact of the punch that Death Charm went flying, gingerbread hill and all, into the distance. There might have been a twinkle in the sky.
And oh look, some loot! It was standing right next to Amrita
It was still smoldering lightly.
RESULTS:
- CONGRATS ALL STUDENTS WHO MADE IT THIS FAR. You survived, that is prize enough for your efforts. You can continue wandering around Candycane Lane as you wish.
- Congrats ENOH LOVE in winning a Death Charm. Isn't Amrita the lucky one, who wouldn't want a miniature smouldering flame creature from the deaths of Christmas hell?

Keeping with the aerial dodges, Jericho dove in anticipation of the Death Charm's next attack. However, the voice that called out pulled his attention. It was a little hard to see, but sure enough there was a white little figure down there... that was challenging this beast!?
He had balls. Jericho could give him that much.
What the dragon witnessed next caused his jaw to drop as the ninja sent the monstrousity soaring with a single punch. It blew his mind really. And it made him feel rather weak for that matter.
Slowly, he descended down towards the burnt remains of Candy Cane Lane. It seemed that their group had taken heavy casualties... seeing how there were much fewer of them left at this point. Riley, Malodore, Aksaja, Sammy... they were all gone.
"At least it's finally warm around here," He mumbled with a huff. Jericho didn't enjoy feeling utterly useless.

"Daaamn." Tybalt gawked at the ninja's strength. It was no wonder the first group had been wiped out so easily. That ninja was freakin' powerful. There was no surviving someone like him. Especially if they were inexperienced. Which left the question... Did this guy just save them? Or was he going to deliver a worse fate, than that death charm intended to deliver? After all... They were also trespassers...
Turning his attention to the rest of the group, he couldn't help but slump a little. So many had been wiped out. Leaving only a handful of students. "You okay Yaya?" He asked. He had to admit, was kinda surprised to see the djinn still here. Then again, she was a demon and there was no underestimating their kind.

West still retained enough sense to notice when the fireballs stopped. He skidded to a halt, looking around for the reason why, when he saw him. Him.
JINGLEBERRY
He dropped Yaya's hand and jogged forward, intending to die trying to kick the crap out of the candylicious ninja, when it happened. Jingleberry. Punched. Death Charm. Into the sky. Boom.
Good show, sir.
West couldn't challenge such a master of sheer manliness. Shoulders slumped, he trudged back over to where the surviving stragglers were gathering.
"Weshould go," he muttered. "B'fore he killsus all." West jerked a thumb over his shoulder at Jingleberry, but didn't turn around. It would have been like trying to stare into the sun.

Despite all of her scrambling attempts to get away, the truth of the matter was that having backwards feet didn't make running very easy. With a stumble the little Undead girl hit the snowy ground, about to try crawling for safety when she saw the bottom of what she assumed to be white robes...and then she heard a commanding voice.
Eye wide and tears streaming down her face, she turned to sit in the snow, watching the ninja punch the fire beast. Then there was something floating beside her. She stared at it, it seemed to stare back (could stars even stare?), and then it started to float towards her.
Amrita swayed a little on the spot and then fell heavily back into the snow, out cold.
