 Syous smiled as Allistar had placed her hand on his cheek, the warmth of her fingers that radiated onto him was comforting. Once she rested her head on his chest, he embraced her gently and whispered into her ear. "I think you've got it the wrong way around. If it weren't for you, I don't think I'd have been able to last long here. When we first met, part of me knew that you might help me a little to gain the confidence to talk to others...but you've done so much more than that, you've shown me what it was to love someone who cares deeply about me." Gently tilting her head up with the tip of his finger against her chin, he kissed her for a moment before breaking it and staring into her eyes. "Thank you Allistar...for everything..."

 Allistar closed her eyes as she felt Syous lift her chin up. She smiled softly as he broke away and rested her head on his chest once more, hugging him in the process. As she gave his hand a light squeeze she turned so they could resume walking. She watched as the first ray of sun slipped behind a garden wall, only speaking when she remembered she hadn't answered a previous question. "Oh! My home...yes, the one we're visiting...it's relatively far." She shot him a quick smile as she imagined it, wondering if much had changed.

Syous gave a small nod and smiled, it didn't really matter too much to him, he just wanted to keep the conversation between the two of them going. Eventually, the two of them found themselves back at the front entrance, Syous rubbed the back of his head. "Should we head off to somewhere else? Or was there something in here you still wanted to see or do?" He asked, not caring for the answer, but just wanting to spend a bit more time with Allistar.

Allistar shook her head, she had no place in particular that she wanted to go to, but she knew they would leave soon so she suggested,"Well, I know I need to pack. You can help me out when you finish..." She glanced at him, wondering if he liked her idea.

Syous nodded, he didn't really have to pack much since he was still comfortably without a dorm. "Sure, I can help out now if you'd like." He offered, still just aimlessly wandering how far she meant by 'relatively' far.

Walking through the gardens at night Devlin sighed He'd left his mechanical eye in a case as well as his hand they'd been needing scheduled maintenance soon but until then he'd every now and again go without them to help string it along. So instead of his normal wearing of a gasmask he walked without one neglecting even his hat he still wore his gloves or glove in this case and kept his left eye covered with an eyepatch. He coughed after a moment and stopped to enjoy the gardens the flowers and hedges for a while at night with the gaslamp glow illuminating them all giving a mixture of light and darkness to the vista of plants and flowers.

 sighing abit shy sat in the gardens smiling as she looks at the waterlilies on the pound in the moonlight her few alone minutes to be her self and not let the others of races who did not know her's see her pain or loneliness of being how she is forced and not wanting it .

Devlin coughed after a moment not really noticing the other person around the gardens and slowly with his good eye looked around before slowly and nonchalantly lit a cigarette. taking a deep puff and reveling in the smell of the smoke his face was lit up in a glow revealing every line and scar upon it along with a quick glimpse of red and gray hair. Shaking himself after a moment and readjusting his coat he slowly began to walk some more around the gardens his boots crunching in the gravel of the walkways as he did so. he had a few things on him he was hoping to get away and look through some footage he'd gotten from his helmet camera that he'd gotten turned into a dvd.

turning to him her skin paler in the darkness and her eyes and hair seeming alight she walks over " are you a student also " she asks as she tries to force her authority air about her again her wall of self defense emotionally .

Devlin smiled after a moment and rose his eyebrow sending back an even stronger air of superiority and will of steel. "No." he said simply his voice deep and ragged. He smiled a little bit though ti was an odd thing to be seen from a ghost pale Irishmen with one eye and a black eye patch int he middle of the night. Sighing after a moment using his gut instincts he threw a talent shield around himself preparing for anything to happen and already felt the heat build within the unseen web of protection.

He sighed as he walked idly holding his shields in tact. "To smoke, I teach here." he said shrugging. "Simple as that." he said beginning to walk as he looked down at the empty cuff to his jacket on the left side. "Even though I was a soldier for many years, well not quite sure about yourself but for a human it was quite an extraordinary time."
