Rosie shifted uncomfortably beneath her covers and glanced down at where her fingers would be. "Well.....it's just.....I don't really have anyone that's acted like a parent as much as you have. I was wondering....if I could.....call you daddy...?"

Rosie took in a deep breath, exhaled, then glanced up at him as she brought the covers up to cover the bottom half of her face. "....can I call you daddy...?" she repeated, her tone nervous.

Joker paused for a moment. He needed to think about that for a moment. If he said no, then then he'd not only be hurting his program to turn her into a self-modelled killer, but he'd just flat-out be hurting her feelings. Although he had no idea why that mattered. Plus, he didn't DO sidekicks. He left that little issue to Guano-For-Brains. Suddenly, a very clear image of Rosie shooting someone throguh the head with a 'BANG!' flag popped into his head. "Yes," he said, wanting to get it out before his common sense had a chance to say something.

Rosie blinked and slowly pulled the covers away from her face. "Really?" she asked, a little surprised that he said yes. She was fully prepared for him to tell her no, and explain why he couldn't be attached to anyone.

Rosie beamed back at him. Carefully, she slid herself straight out of her covers, leaned over, and wrapped her arms around his torso in a grateful hug. Careful to avoid his flower and any areas he might have tricks hidden.
"I won't, I promise!"

Joker put his arms around her loosely, and said with a smile, "Alright, I'm pretty sure we agreed that it was your bedtime..."

Rosie pulled back from the hug and smiled up at him. She slid herself backwards and slipped back under the covers, shifting herself back into her spot on the pillow.
"Thank you..." she said, her smile still wide.

Joker got up and walked out of her room, turning around to say, "Sleep tight," and then closed the door, so that she could sleep without any disturbances from the other rooms.
Returning to the main room, he looked around to assess the current situation.

The Tinkerer was busy at his workstation in the corner. His back was turned towards the rest of the room, a few wires and tubes were trailing from the area in front of him and to the computer. He had gotten his little machine put together, and now he was going about making it function.
Death Raider, however, was no where to be found in the room.

"Raider..." Joker called out, as one would call a pet. "Raiiiideeeer... Where aaaaaaare yooooooou?" He turned around a little, looking for him.

"I put him to work, sir." Tinkerer said distractedly, not turning his eyes away from his work. "He should be in the hallway leading to the back entrance. Marking corners at both ends of the room and taping some things so I can test the signals before I install anything."
