Kocerou ignored the first question about the Blessed. At mention of the oath, however, Kocerou's hand closed around the hilt of Thorn.

"You ask a lot of questions and offer me nothing in return," he said, but his tone was amused, "But this one is harmless, so I shall indulge you, dragon. The oath you swore made you - for now - one of my people and thus under the influence of my powers as Prince. None of the fae that follow the King will be able to Bind you against your will. And none of the fae that follow me will do so without my permission. I protect my own."

Toft didn't take long to rest his eyes upon the Fea that's a master at being silent with his steps, it was ghost-like almost. He was not a Fea, Toft leaned forward on the tree limb making direct eye contact with him. "A mind reader aren't we?" Toft then straighten his bent over posture rolling his shoulders back as his wings open and closed in seconds as he place his dagger back in it's sheath. "Your not my target for the time being, in fact I have none at the moment for I am currently jobless." He then sat comfortable on the limb. "Not unless you have one for me, other than open threats which mean nothing." He stated in an arrogant tone.

Though the prince was making a good point about his questions, though slightly move for the fact he protects his own he felt he had to make a few things clear with him.
"As far as I am concerned you haven't come close to my payment, for both my brother and I aiding you."
"I've fought for you with little thought, Left my brother behind, and have been told to stay here for your own benefit." "And you know my name, use it."

Blade Kuroda

"They're fine and away from the bulk of things as far as I'm aware," replied Warden while taking in the information he had just received. It could very well be faulty, but unfortunately it wasn't very conceivable to bring the Reborn back to the others. It would most likely be detained or killed on sight more than anything else, which wouldn't be too helpful for their case.

<>

<> the dragon pointed out before looking back at the Reborn, "Very well. Thank you for this insight."

Without another word, he turned wing and started heading back to base to report as quickly as he could. Aside from the potentially useful information, it'd be best to leave the higher ups to deal with the Reborn - whether they wanted to try and track it or what.

---

Once the one dragon had gone off, the Fallen grinned and beat his wings down hard to gain lift. He didn't want to chase the one that had left, not when there was something more interesting in his sights. With a gleam in his eyes, he beelined for the 'fae', looking to fly a little too close for comfort for the smaller creature at fairly high speeds.

Ruscar nodded and bid the knights farewell. Satisfied with the misinformation, and noting the direction the knights flew off in to report back, he continued in the direction he had previously been going. He would alter his course to follow when they were out of sight. However, Ruscar could definitely hear something flying a little too fast...

The reborn jolted, recognizing the strange sounding wing-beats of tattered wings, and quickly dove back in the direction he had originally flown from. His wings were beating in panic, carrying the little dragon swiftly away, skimming over the tree tops, and not daring to turn his head back to confirm the identity of what was surely a Fallen.

“Get back!” Ruscar snarled in desperate panic. He knew he stood little chance in a fair fight with a Fallen.

Soon after he made his near-collision, the armored fallen angled his wings to go on following where the Fae had gone. Though from here he could see more of the Reborn's features.

"A Reborn! This is a truly rare treat indeed. Come now, no need to be afraid," he called out to the other. There was nothing like having some after-dinner entertainment, and nothing slept that quite like terrorizing those unfortunate enough to catch his eye.

The armor and his large form made him less agile than some other dragons, but he surely would be able to give a good chase nonetheless. What he'd do should he catch this Reborn, he wasn't sure just yet. He'd figure that out when he got there.

A horrible shiver ran down the reborn's spine upon hearing the gravely tone of his pursuer. Desperately pounding his wings, he tried to gain speed. It seemed like a futile attempt, except, perhaps the trees could provide some safety...

“Of course there is nothing to worry about,” replied Rus' mockingly, trying to sound undisturbed. After a few moments more deliberation, the reborn's speed abruptly slowed and suddenly changed direction to dive into a thick clump of trees. With a proud huff, he continued leaping through tightly knit branches, waiting to see what a lumbering dragon's solution would be.

------Human Outskirts of Borderlands------
Nutshell:
Vamps/RJ attacked possibly raid dragons and came out on the worst end of it. Casualties on both sides. Fal/Uri picked up on the scent of blood and is now on route to intercept Vamps/RJ.
Players:
Jayara - RJ (Jay), npcs
Rakura - Micheal/Dark, Roman
Rhina - Falinor/Uritai
----------------------------------------------------------

What was she?

The patchwork abomination looked confused at the question as if puzzling it out herself. When it began to move again, Jay tensed up ready to spring, the tension of magic and muscle grating beneath the skin.

But the patchwork woman simply turned around and began to walk back in the direction she had silently appeared from, heavy petticoats pressing aside the surrounding tall grasses as if they were people stepping back from nobility.

Jay watched from the flicker of the firelight until she was fully gone from sight and then some before stepping back from being perched over Roman's body and letting her joints ease some, weapons still in hand, eyes still glancing in every which direction. Silently she waited to hear the sound of dragon wings and hope they belonged to the dragon bringing him the help she was waiting for.

------Location: Dragon Territory------
(Somewhere between Knight outpost and Prince's Hideout)
Players:
Jayara: Knights, ????
Blade: Astalder/Blade
-----------------------------------------------

Blade
<> murmured Astalder to Blade mentally. The human frowned at this news, not really wanting to deal with the knights here. With any luck, it was just someone on patrol who had little to no knowledge of the situation at hand.

Not wanting to cause a stir, the black dragon continued on his path at the same pace while occasionally glancing to the approaching pair.

It did seem that the knight passed them over high in the sky and Astalder and Blade were not hindered in their travels around the forest that was beginning to see the turn of the season, the leaves showing off for their airborne audience.

But that peaceful trail only lasted so long until the sound of large wings from the side was picked up hours later. It seemed a knight had appeared off their flank at a distance yet, unknown if it was the same one previous from above or a new one that was now coming to meet them.

------Location: Laboratory (Unknown location in human lands)------
Players:
Jayara: ?BlueMage?
Blade: Ares
-----------------------------------------------

Blade
Ares practically wiggled beneath the Mage's hand as he was patted. Sure some of the other creatures around had less fortunate fates, but he was given food and shelter here. That was always a good thing. At the mention of watching something, he jumped up onto all fours and practically lept with excitement.

"OH! OH! Yeeessss. Can we do that pleeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaase?" he pleaded while his tail wagged like that of a puppy's.

The man's eyes glittered like snow under a winter sun.

"Yes. Yes, I think we will. It's about time for another jaunt outside and you've been a good dragon lately. The world is not just this room after all, much like how your thoughts are not always one color."

Yes, this might work out very nicely. Even though he'd just been out that way a little over a sevenday ago, things were just too exciting to stay indoors. Besides, Ares was growing and lots of practice was needed. Lots of practice.

He arose and picked up a small pouch or two from the nearby table, slipping them into his long cloak sleeves. With a quirk of a grin, the man looked back over his shoulder at Ares.

"Anything you'd like to bring along?" he asked, chuckling about ready to make his way to the center of the room. Already, flourishing script crawled through the top layer of the floor like a multi-headed burrowing worm but at a much faster speed. The trail it made was a true indentation into the rock as it blazed it course.

Kier followed after her, swishing his tail back and forth. He nodded solemnly to greet the other fae, and watched their exchange through wide curious eyes.
"Do all fae look a little different?" he asked her curiously, and hid his face a touch when she mentioned his manners in the version of a dragon blush.
"It's my honor." He said again, frolicking along after her unable to hide his excitement.

"We look very different," the fae replied, "Some of us are like me, some of us are no different than humans in appearance, some of us mimic the dragons, and some of us take after the animals. But do you know how to tell fae apart from an animal or a dragon?"

She lowered her voice like she was divulging a great secret.

"We talk funny. Sooner or later we'll slip up and talk all formal and only fae talk like that."

The land started to slope up ahead, dropping off rather steeply into a ravine. There was a winding path down the wall of it and a fae stood guard at the start. He nodded for the two to pass and enter the ravine itself.

Target frowned looking at the Prince shaking his head. "Don't you get it, I didn't ask for one, nor did I intend to." Target's head tilted a little as he tried to get a better look at the Prince. "Then here you are, mumbling on something about payment for answers for my questions." Target then smiled. "I could as for my reward that you answer every question I ask truthfully and with out any payment, but then that would be too easy." The white dragon then curled up to rest. "Where is the fun in that."

The wings moving through the winds, Dark was right to follow the smoke seeing Roman laying down in an awkward position. He didn't understand what would knock the wild child out like that, taking careful to land away from the fires and not to cause them to spread, the tainted landed with a huff and whip of his fuzzy tip tail. "What happen...."

The ebony hair vampire slid from the back of the dragon and then ran to Jayara's side with his eyes searching to see if she was ok before his concerns about Roman. He took note of the man laying in the grass, and also the Fallen Dragon was not in sight.
"Where did he go?"
Lowly he growled as he looked through the trees around them, and the skies he just came from.
PostPosted: Wed Dec 15, 2010 9:10 pm

He did not smell her blood nor did she look harmed, but something reeked of dragon's breath and burned hair. Looking closer the cloth at the back of her hood had been burned straight off, a charred ring of grey-brown that would make a better noose than a head covering. The cover flap of her quiver darkened and thinned out just beneath where the ruined hood rested. Feather ends were burned clean off some of the arrows that peeked out from the leather quiver flap.

"Dragon's gone. Continued flying in the direction it was heading. Bound's dead on the ground. The other 'thing' disappeared into the trees," Jay spoke as she put away her sword and bow. "I got here finding Roman like this. With the arrowhead at the ribfront, Bound got a shot in from behind somehow."

Kneeling, she looked over the bolt that had Roman half on his side. "I'd get the bolt out myself, but without his fire triggering? The only way I've got requires me to cut him." Something that would probably set off the fire, she figured. Looking up at Micheal, who was full fanged and growling. "If you can crush the wood of the bolt right behind his back, we can try and pull it out without dragging the fletching through his chest. I don't know what else to do."

Vampires were not included in the usual field training for hunters. Uncertainty clouded her thoughts as to if this would have been a serious injury had it not been for Roman's magic. She'd seen both of them shot after all. Would he have just stood up and walked around with a bolt through his chest as if nothing had happened?

Micheal lightly lifted up her hood realizing how close it was while listening to Jay. He calmed his snarling with a serious look upon his face and let her hood go as he went over to the red head's side, and lightly touched the arrow tip visualizing what it might have hit.
"Lets just hope it didn't break any bones, other wise you will go ahead and we will probably have to catch up."
He then started undressing the red head vampire's Cloak, Vest, and shirt.
"so just remove the fletching..."
Micheal place his thumb nail where the substance that held the fletching upon the small stick and drew his hand outwards carving the glued feathers off, and holding him on his side looking at his back checking to see if his spine was still in place, shattered.
"Alright give me about 30 seconds to completely take over his mind, and body, then remove the arrow as fast as you can, then we need to find some animals to help him heal what is damage on the inside quicker other wise his fire magic will fight the vampires natural ability to heal quickly and the process will take much longer."
Micheal then smiled.
"I think I am going to be quite busy sewing clothes tonight."

The Tainted Dragon rolled the fallen bound on it's back to get a better look. "Wonder how that works?" Micheal's and Dark's bound has been a result from following dreams well Dark's. They had not a problem with their connection or the fact Micheal been the stronger link. Actually Dark looked towards him as a Father figure, and is fully aware how Micheal feels about the Ranger and does his best to control his feelings as well, but sometimes it can't be helped. Dark did like Jay's horse that she had one time, he threw his back out tripping as he was playing with her, that was when Micheal was hit with one the Ranger's arrows.
