On the contrary, Billy was feeling terrible. It was real. It was happening. It was happening to them and it was happening to him. His stomach growled and he shook his head, dropping the towel to pull on his trousers, but stopped to stare at his scar for a few moments. Hell. That's where he was. It was simple as that. But he'd get through it. Things would get better. They had to. He pulled them up, the suckers along the back of his legs chafing in his jeans, but he would be damned if he was going to walk around pantless. It took him a few tries, but he managed to wrap his tentacles around his torso befor pulling his shirt on to cover them. People didn't need to see.

"There's leftover breakfast stuff in the fridge I think," she mentioned just before shutting the bathroom door and locking it. It was time for a nice, warm shower. He could stay if he wanted, but Antony really didn't care either way, as long as he didn't try and bust in on her in the shower.

He straightened his vest, trying to ignore the cramped feeling of his tentacles as he moved to examine what the fridge held. Unfortunatly, nothing looked very appetizing. He supposed Octopi didn't particularly like bacon and eggs. "I... think I'm gonna' head ou'," He called over the sound of the shower.

"Okay then," she called back, not really wanting to rush just to spend more time with him. Afterall, she hated him, right? Yes. She was sure of that, maybe... All she had done was help him because she felt sorry for him, not because he was her friend or she liked him.

He would be her enemy again the moment he stepped out of her duplex. No one knew that she had been nice to him, and no one had to know. That was that.

Without another word, Billy limped out, thinking along the same lines. He wasn't necissarily happy about it, though. Practically starving and feeling cramped, he limped towards the cafeteria to try again.

Avery Calder
Avery felt that he got a lot done today, considering he really didn't have many obligations on the island. With clean laundry and new clothes on the way, he decided to go and try to find something fun to do. He remembered playing video games with Awen and Rex once, so he went in search for the entertainment room.

He hadn't really looked around the last time he had been in this room, and reasonably so, since the last time he was here he had a panic attack. But this time he took his time examining all the DVDs and video games available. He hummed tunelessly to himself as he tried to figure out what to watch or play.

Antoinette Devereux
Antony had finally decided to return all the DVDs that she had borrowed from the entertainment room, and after eating, she did just that.

With a cigarette lit between her fingers and a stack of DVDs nestled in the crook of her arm, the tattooed woman made her way through the village. She took note that Jamal was no longer in his cage before stepping into the entertainment room whilst taking a drag from her smoke.

It was only then that she noticed Avery, and she frowned sadly at her smoke. "Want me to put this out?" She asked, motioning towards the cig in her hand.

Avery Calder
Avery looked over at Antony when she spoke up, and he glanced at her cigarette and grinned. "Nah, that's cool. It doesn't bother me," he shrugged a bit. "I used to go clubbing a lot back at home, so I've been used to it for a while."

He glanced at the DVDs under her arm. "So, you got any recommendations? I'm tying to figure out what to watch to kill some time... or maybe I'll just play some video games. Wanna join me?"

Antoinette Devereux
"Good," she stated, striding over to put the DVDs away on the shelf before looking over at him and smiling somewhat. "I was just returning these, and I have no clue about video games... Only played them back home with my guys, but I was usually drunk or high."

Shrugging her shoulders, she took another drag of her cigarette, blowing the smoke out through her nose like an angry bull. "Avery right?" The tattooed woman questioned, squinting her eyes as if she was examining him to make sure she was right.

Avery Calder
"Yep, that's my name," he said. "And you're Antony?" It was hard to forget a woman with tattoos like that, even if they only met once briefly before.

"I'm not really a hardcore gamer either... I know a couple games, but that's about it. By the way," he added, completely changing the subject. "I really like your tattoos. I've always thought about getting one or two, but I'm a wussy." Avery chuckled a bit, grinning. "I can deal with a quick piercing, but not anything like that... it looks like yours took a long time to do."

Antoinette Devereux
She nodded, "That's me."

Her interest was caught when he complimented her tattoos, and she grinned proudly. "I'm a tattoo artist myself," Antony mused, corners of her mouth turning upwards a little more. "The healing for tattoos is much easier in my opinion... Especially if you've ever caught a new piercing on something."

Now that s**t hurt.

Avery Calder
Avery looked really impressed. "Really? s**t, I can't even draw stick figures on paper... that's awesome. I'm envious!" he grinned at her.

"The healing part I'm not too worried about... it's the actual application of the tattoo that worries me. They just poke you with a needle over and over again... ouch," Avery winced just imagining it. "Luckily I haven't caught my piercings on anything worse than just my hair. So far."

Antoinette Devereux
It wasn't a surprise when he mentioned the pain of the application, and she because of her line of work, she was prepared for this question. Always. "I almost fell asleep during my back piece," she offered, shrugging her shoulders as if it wasn't a big deal, "But then again, I have a high pain tolerance. Though, the pain really just depends on the size, complexity, and location of the tattoo."

However, she was a little biased.

"How many piercings do you have?" She asked, raising an eyebrow as she mentally counted the visible ones.

Avery Calder
"Just one in each ear, my lip, and a barbell in my tongue," he stuck out his tongue to show it off. "I had planned on getting my belly button pierced too, but, well..." Avery shrugged. "I'm here now, so that's not happening. And what about you?"

Antoinette Devereux
"Ah, I just have the side lip, tongue, anti, and a handful of ears... But I've retired a good handful of others as well." She explained, finishing her smoke and snuffing it out on the table since there wasn't an ashtray anywhere. "Good thing about piercings, you can take them out."

Avery Calder
"Yeah, that is good unless your parents make you take them out," Avery rolled his eyes, remembering what had happened. "My parents were pissed when I came home with my ears pierced the first time... I had to take them out and they closed up. 'Course, when I turned 18 I just got them done again, and then some" he grinned. "They just had to deal with it then."

Antoinette Devereux
"Ah, my father let me get stuff done before 18, so I never had to really... Rebel..." She shrugged her shoulders, reaching up to tuck her hair back behind her ears. "******** I need a haircut," she grunted, sitting down on the couch finally.

Avery Calder
"I think you hair looks good," Avery plopped down on the couch next to her. "But then again I like long hair. Maybe you can request some scissors from the doctors or something if you can't find any around here... I don't know where to get any supplies though." He looked over at her sheepishly. "Sorry. I'm not much help."

Antoinette Devereux
"So I've noticed," she commented, sinking lower into the couch so that she was slouching and comfortable. "I like short hair, much easier to take care of I think... But I guess I'll just have to see what the staff can do about it."

Avery Calder
"Can't do as much with it, though... but yeah, it is easier to take care of when it's short." He pulled his legs up onto the couch, putting his arms around his knees. "So do you wanna watch a movie or something?"

Antoinette Devereux
"Sure, you like horror? How about the new Amnityville Horror? The one with Ryan Reynolds..." She made a sort of purring noise when she mentioned Ryan. He was one of her favorite actors to watch and to oogle, along with Johnny Depp that is. "I'm sexually frustrated and he's oh so ******** he could object, Antony stood to find that DVD, thumbing through the shelves with a look of excited concentration.

Avery Calder
"Ryan Reynolds?" Avery raised an eyebrow at her. "Hm, doesn't ring a bell... I'll take your word for it, though."

He watched her stand up, eyes falling immediately to her tails... and he gasped. "What the ********!? Three tails!?" he blurted out loud, then slapped a hand over his mouth. "Er. I... sorry... I just... well I figured everyone here was turning into real animals... and I've never heard of anything with three tails before..."

Antoinette Devereux
Antony narrowed her eyes at the sudden exclamation, hands gripping the DVD case so tight her knuckles turned white. Her tails twitched, and she curled them upwards towards her lower back. "They seem real enough to me," she sneered lightly, attempting to try and keep her cool as she turned to face the blonde. "Cause you know, I didn't feel s**t when my spine split into three and then grew."

Her red eyes were almost deadly, and she had to work extra hard not to be as cruel as she wanted to.

Avery Calder
Avery shifted on the couch uncomfortably. "I'm sorry," he muttered. "I was just... surprised." Her gaze made him nervous. Avery was almost sure that he couldn't stand up to her, even though she was a girl... she seemed like a tough woman.

He stood up quickly. "Actually, I - er - I just remembered I had something to do. I mean, meeting up with someone. Maybe I can get a rain check on that movie, yeah? Uh... see you," he said, obviously nervous, and he quickly retreated out of the entertainment room.

Note to self; don't talk about tails with Antony. Ever.

Antoinette Devereux
Antony blinked when he left stuttering in fear, watching him leave with an mixed expression of confusion and blatent anger. "Whatever," she grunted after him, giving him a sort of irritated wave of dismissal.

She'd just take her hot man on DVD to watch back at her duplex if she had to.

And she did just that. Stupid new islanders.

It was cutting into the afternoon when Billy found himself outside of Antony's duplex, still cradeling his wounded tentacle as he raised a hand to knock on the door.
PostPosted: Thu Mar 23, 2006 3:16 pm

Antony was lounging in her duplex, watching Amnityville Horror in naught but her lingerie and her black silk robe.

Billy knocked harder, hoping that someone was home. It was difficult with his strange fused knuckles, but somehow he managed.

Sighing at the knock, Antony grunted as she got up off the couch, haphazardly tying the robe closed before peering out the peep hole. Her eyebrow was silently raised before she unlocked the door and opened it.

She was about to give him a curt greeting when she saw the state of his tentacle. They were nailmarks, she was sure of it, and pretty bad ones by the looks of it. "Who else did you piss off?" Antony asked in an almost redundant fashion as she opened the door further so he could come in.

"Follow me," she sighed, turning to go get the first aid kit in the bathroom after shutting the door. All she had to do was clean him up and then toss him out again right afterwards. That way, there would be no guilt.

"Again, it wasn' me fault," He grunted. He couldn't help but watch her bare legs, hypothesizing what was or wasn't under that robe. "Mad b***h practically maimed me. I figured ye coul' help."
PostPosted: Thu Mar 23, 2006 5:38 pm

"Says the man who tried to kill me," she replied quickly, motioning for him to sit on the closed toilet while she bent down to get out first aid kit.

Billy shifted anxiously as he sat, tentacles sliding and situating clumsily. He still wasn't sure how to position them to keep them comfortable. "... Abou' tha'... Pyroth says he smelt... wha' I was lookin' fer... y'know... in... th'place tha' curly haired lass wit' th'camera lives." He licked his lips, looking positively embarassed, "I was a bi' off me rocker befor. Jes'..." He cleared his throat, "Wanted to, y'know..."

"Godzilla?" She asked, a slow smile growing on her lips. That Dr. Duvert really went all out didn't he? "Withdrawl... I know, but you still crossed a ******** line." A hard glance was sent his way as Antony pulled out a clean washcloth, wetting it before motioning him to hand her the tentacle.

Gingerly he did so, "I think she feckin' brused it too, wit' all tha' squeezin' an' crushin'." He let the topic drop if she was going to drop it. He was rather enjoying not being kneed in the jewels- jewel. He gave a shudder. She didn't need to know about that.
