"I might be a bit forward saying this but any time I spend with you is the time of my life Lisa." Dan said as his heart pounded happily within his chest. "Can you hear my heart as it cries out in pleasure to have someone like you in my life?" He wrapped his arms gently around her as they circled her waist giving her a gentle hug. He kissed the top of her head then as though sealing his words within her mind through his lips.

Lisa sighed and listened to his chest, she could hear him breathing, and somewhere, deep in there, she could hear his heart as it spoke to her. She nodded, "Yes, I can hear it." She said pressing a little closer to him, trying to get a better listen. "It's a beautiful sound Dan." She told him. "I wish you could hear mine." She said softly, almost as if she were falling asleep, especially after his lips touched the top of her head so tenderly.

Dan nodded knowingly. One day if all went well and they continued to care for one another he could easily imagine Lisa as his wife. One day when they will began their lives as more then just 2 and start making a family but that is far from now. "My heart might sound beautiful but I find it hard to believe it as beautiful as the love I share with you." Dan said smiling warmly down at her. "I am afraid it is a little cluttered in here though so dancing might be a little hard for us."

Lisa smiled and squeezed him ever so slightly. "Yes, that is beautiful too." She said softly. "So perfect and beautiful. So strange and abstract. And I am so lucky to be a part of it." She said looking up at him and smiled. "I can't help but think that we were meant for each other Dan." She confessed softly. "Because I can't seem to get you out of my mind, and what we share is beautiful. We have been blessed."
Sighing Lisa nodded in agreement. "I think that plan has been destroyed, sadly. But it's all right. Giving it one night could be a challenge." She rested her chin against his collar bone, gently though, and looked up at him. She moved her hands up his back until they hooked over his shoulders. She then began to sway slightly back and fourth. "But we can still learn slow dancing." She said softly. She figured this time was alright since the other two in the room were busy with finishing the pizza and talking among each other.

Jay looked over at her friend and laughed. She stretched back and gave a sigh relaxing with a full tummy and said, "It was very good, but just not what I wanted." She sighed and added, “Eh the box don’t matter, it’s what was in it that I was worried about.” Laughing again she leaned over and bumped her friends legs and said, “Hey no worries, we gotta have food to live and there’s no way I coulda finished the whole thing by myself. And I’m not worried about the tomaotes, by the time I started eating I didn’t want them.” She could not help but think about how her sister did at the least try to hid her soaked shirt from Dan and told Mindy, “I’d have been fine with her using the pizza too if it helped, some guys get off on undergarments and what little wet shirts leave the imagination. And there’s no need to temp the kid this soon anyways.”
She sighed and burped a bit loudly as she nodded her head, “That they both are, twitter pated. They’ll have to learn if they’re gonna go too far too soon, the consciences of their actions. Just makin certain they know we’re here for them and that there’s always someone whose got ears here too. They’ve got a lot to learn.” Plopping backwards on the bed she groaned as she glanced in the direction of where the two were and muttered, “My stomache….” She took a deep breath and sat back up and quickly stood to her feet and made a dash to the bathroom and closed the door behind her as her dinner protested having been ate.

Mindy nodded and listened to her friend in silence. "At least it filled our stomachs." Mindy commented as she began to try and see the two who had taken up roost just inside the front door. She could hardly hear them as they spoke to one another in quiet tones. "It was a little soggy, but I think I would have done the same thing in my case." Mindy said softly. "I say kudos to the both of them for taking the situation by the balls, no pun to Dan, and controlling the odds."
Mindy watched her friend and listened, nodding occasionally. It should have been the love birds listening to Jay, but obviously they were fascinated with something happening in the front entry way. But then suddenly Jay was gone. She sat up like a bullet and took off like a bullet towards the front of the room. "I wonder where the kids are over there." She mumbled and waited for something to happen. Poor Jay, she thought to herself.
Lisa lay her head against Dan's chest once more, she enjoyed it there. She felt safe, and loved. She could hear his heart, and it drew her closer to him. Her lips parted, and her eyes closed, but she continued to rock slightly from one foot to another. Then, out of no where, Jay came rushing into the area. She and Dan kind of took up a majority of the small area that Jay was rushing almost blindly into. She jumped back, separating herself from Dan, to allow her sister passage without too much conflict.

Dan was enjoying the moment as well. The warmth of her body against his felt nice and the gentle fragrance of her hair made him happy. Suddenly Jay came running at them and Lisa pulled apart to let Jay run into the bathroom located not far from them. He wanted to move close to her again and recapture that feeling of warmth but stood there like an abandoned toy scratching his head absently. "I guess the food didn't agree with her after all."

Lisa watched the door for a moment in silence. She shook her head, "Poor Jay, first night on a trip and she's already having the time of her life." Lisa said with a hint of sarcasm in her voice. "Would you like to come and sit with me on my bed?" She asked Dan as she turned her attention to him. "I don't think that Jay will be too thrilled with us both just standing here when she comes out." She drew closer to him, reaching for his hand and entwining her fingers though his. She looked up into his eyes, just inches from her own. "Come on." she said softly, "Let's go find a place to sit, maybe we can look though the schedule for the convention." She was tempted to wrap his arms around her, but she refrained. She didn't want to upset him.
So instead she stepped away from him, still holding his hand as she did. Soon, with a couple more small steps their arms connected them like a rope, and the space between like a canyon. Her eyes never left his. She smiled, "Come on." She said again softly.

"Y-yeah that sounds like a good idea." Dan said smiling back at her. He realized there were not a lot of other places to sit but still being lead to the bed like this was almost naughty but he knew it was not. There was no way it could be thankfully with the other two here. Dan allowed Lisa to lead him as they made their way to the bed and he sat down in the soft mattress.

After Dan was seated on the soft matrices Lisa sat down beside him. She stretched slightly, arching her back as she did, and settling herself down close to him. She turned to face him, finding him quite close to her. She blushed, and quietly whispered to him, "Y-You're not uncomfortable, are you?" She asked softly. "I-If we're too close please tell me." She said despite her want to be laying there cuddling into his side. She seemed almost childish, now her eyes darted from one area to another. She was nervous until he spoke again, hoping that his words would help her nerves.
Another thought lingered in her mind as she reached up to his hair. Her fingers hesitated before she gently took a lock of his hair between her fingers. "Are you keeping it this color for your cosplay?" She asked curiously.

"No I don't mind being so close to you. After all I care about you so being next to you is only natural right?" Dan said a little embarrassed but happy to be where he was. Mindy didn't seem to be saying anything so it was a good sign that she trusted him at least a little bit.
Then the second question registered in his mind. He never really thought about it because his hair was not black but he had never dyed his hair before. "I never really thought about it before but I have never had my hair dyed before so I didn't plan on it."

Lisa smiled and laughed softly. "It is only natural." She said softly, but she noticed a slight blush cross his cheeks. She glanced over her shoulder to where Mandy lay, her hand on her belly, panting slightly. She looked back at Dan and nodded. "I'm sorry." She said softly, and scooted away a little so they weren't quite so close. She folded her hands and lay them in her lap.
Mindy blinked, realizing that she was not alone in the room. She heart whispering, but it was doused by the high pillows which blocked out the sound to her ears. She sat up slightly and looked over at the two of them though her large glasses. She had seen the two of them quite close to each other just as she looked up. She frowned slightly and sat up a little more. "Hey, I don't want any touching between you two." She said in a sharp, demanding voice.
Lisa, still turned away from Mindy said in a louder voice, "Yes Mindy." And rolled her eyes. "She won't do anything about it." She said softly to Dan, but she allowed him his space. She didn't want to come off as forcing herself upon him. She felt sick at the thought.

" I love you but I don't understand why you move away from me and apologize. I enjoy being close to you." Dan said as he was about to reach over and pull her close to him again. Before he put his arm around her though Mindy took note of his movement and he shrunk back. He might have been on a thin line with her as it was. "But I don't want to upset your family and friends so come as close as you feel safe with okay?"

Lisa looked over at Dan and smiled apologetically. She knew Mindy was watching them closely, so she reached into her bag, which lay beside her bed and removed a note book, the notebook which had Dan's picture enclosed in a heart on the inside cover. She flipped to the middle of the book. She removed a pen too and clicked it so she could write. She raised her knee so she could easier write and keep her message away from Mindy's eyes. Then on the lined paper she wrote:
Dan, I love you too. heart
I am worried though of what you may be thinking of me.
I enjoy every moment I've shared with you, and
I've enjoyed every moment I've spent getting to
know you.
I apologize because I don't wish to be seen in the wrong way...
I love you, but I don't want to pressure you,
I don't want you to feel like you have to put up with it.
I enjoy being close to you. heart
Lisa looked at Dan for a moment, contemplating what she had written.
But I want you to be comfortable.
It won't work between us unless we are both comfortable.
She wanted to include that she wouldn't be this way, unless he promoted her first. She didn't want to be the one to constantly bring on her feelings for him and make them into actions. She wanted him to show her what he felt, and how he wanted to act. She handed Dan the notebook, and gained a disapproving look from Mindy, which she ignored, except to look around and smile at her.

As Dan read the notebook he smiled. It wasn't easy for her to talk with the others here and this notebook was her only chance to explain. She must have thought he was uncomfortable with her somehow. He winked at her and took the pen in hand as he tapped it against his chin in thought. This was kinda like how they wrote to each other online.
I understand now I think. Know that I have never been more comfortable with any girl before then I do with you.
If I show any sign of discomfort then it is only because I don't want to make you or your family uncomfortable. So anytime you
like I will gladly be as close to you as you like. Your feelings are more important to me then those of your family so even if
Mindy doesn't want us to we can at least hold hands. What do you think?"
Dan handed the notebook to Lisa as his fingers gently touched the palm of her hand as he did so. He knew they could be good. Neither of them were raised to be like those teens that give into the temptation of their feelings. They would be good and wait till they get married or never.
