"I suppose, if they were like this, I would've known about her a long time ago...." Shinji murmured, a rare sentence escaping his lips. He was never one for words. Ringo snickered and poked Shinji in the ribs. "Well, that girl looks like a cutie..." He pointed at Terrion and grinned as she waved back. "She has her mate, Ringo. And besides, we Nightshade live a lot longer than humans like you...." Shinji let another sentence slip and immediately shut up. Ringo frowned. "Shinji, mate, you're no fun at all."

Nova and Nihc were still at it, you could practically feel the air crackle with tension from their powers. Rogue and Kaien had relaxed their stances slightly as their friends did. Kaien gave her a wary glance and Rogue huffed, annoyed. "You're different than I remembered." He observed and she snorted. "Oh yeah? Being on the run for the past hundred years'll do that to ya, lil bro."

Terrion walked around the men with a slight bounce to her step. She felt so much better after getting back together with Elia. She grinned broadly as she approached him. She stopped with a little childish hop and smiled at him.

"Hiya, Elia!" she said with such a flounce that both burst into laughter. It felt so good, but it still didn't ease the tension. Elia caught sight of Ringo looking at Terr and frowned. He tensed and begame slightly defencive.

Terr smiled. "Oh, c'mon Elia, that doesn't mean he's into me. A seventeen-year-old who's a little off her rocker!" Elia smiled.

"You aren't crazy, Terr. If anyone is, it's me." Terrion poked him in his stomach.

"Fat chance, smarty pants. You aren't crazy either!" She laughed. "If a little excitable at times..." Elia returned her smile.

Shinji blinked owlishly at Zoe, and turned away, looking at Ringo who was looking at Terr who was busy talking and laughing with Elia. If anyone would've understood that sentence, it'd be Shinji. He flipped his dark hair out of his eyes and dropped his gaze. "Trouble..." He breathed to himself and disappeared into the shadows.

Both Rogue and Kaien tensed at the same time. Kaien glanced back at his team, seeing Shinji missing. Rogue turned back to her friends, eyes wide.
"Nihc! Ringo! Get Shinji, we're leaving with them."
"Nova! Ben! Elia! Get the girls! We have to move!"
The siblings yelled out at the same time and ran to their own respective groups. "Kai!" Rogue yelled back to her younger sibling. "I'll meet you at our spot!" He nodded and, in a flash of pale blue, he was gone. Ringo and Nihc disappeared and Rogue turned back to her own friends. "We've sensed something. It's not safe here anymore. I think we've stayed a bit too long." She paused. "It's not Aun, or his monsters.....It's the humans."

Rogue was worried, but she replaced it with amusement. "Come on, Zo, it won't be that bad. Besides, we'll have better chance at helping eachother if we stick together." She turned to Ben, eyebrows raised. "You keep her under control. I got Nova and Eve to worry about. Not to mention Nihc...." She muttered the last part quietly but Nova glared at her, hearing anyways. "He freakin got on my nerves, alight?" He ground out angrily.

"We'll get there faster if we teleport." Nova grabbed Rogue's hand and she grabbed Eve. "I hate this...." Rogue muttered before she felt a jerk in her nerve system and they were gone again.

Terrion had not said a word ever since she and Elia had joked around. She felt something, not supernatural, like Aun's monsters, but... human. She blinked as they teleported and looked around. Zoe was right, where were they? She didn't recognize it.

"Rogue, where are we at?" Zoe asked, annoyed andacking away as the others appeared. Ben nodded, wondering.

Ben turned to Terrion as she said this. "Really? I feel like something is hanging over my head, but I cont figure what it means." He said, and zoe tensed. "Aun. He's keeping something on us." She whispered, looking around quickly. Nothing seemed wrong there, which is why she expected somehting to go wrong.
