emosgirl I don't want to speak for her but when I think of Father Time, he's a guy that wears a long hooded cloak and carries a scythe in one hand and an hourglass in the other. Ahhh could be, i haven't a clue might be an american thing hence me not knowin xd teehee. Thankies for the info

Well that sounds like "Death" to me, except for the hourglass part. I guess I think of the kids cartoon version which is not very distinguishable from an old wizard I guess.

Well that sounds like "Death" to me, except for the hourglass part. I guess I think of the kids cartoon version which is not very distinguishable from an old wizard I guess. The scythe is about "killing time". wink It's not a US thing because I know the Japanese portray him the same way but there are other variations. Here are quick pics I found online. father time usually has a white cloak, a staff or the scythe (to end time or the year) white hair or balding, white beard (cuz he never cuts his hair even tho he has the scythe, and usually the year that is ending on a sash. if we use our "year of joining" sashes, it could be really fun.
i am torn between baby new year and father time (old man old year)

Father Time is a personification of time. He is usually depicted as an elderly bearded man, dressed in a robe, carrying a scythe and an hourglass or other timekeeping device; such as a pocket watch (representing time's constant movement).
