Ukeke Quote: MISSION- Clone Clearout Must complete Fearow of Water (COMPLETED) The word in Lavender Town is that Team Aqua has been moving large amounts of equipment out of the Power Plant. But we don't have an installation there, so it can't be our doing. I've looked over the legband recovered from the Fearow, and it looks like the work of Team Clone. Your mission is to get inside the plant and find whatever is left of their operation. Bring back any documents you can get your hands on. Try to go unseen, but you might have to fight anyway. (Fight 0-3 guards with 1-3 pokemon each) Pokemon: Any basic stage Electric or Ghost type Funds: 1000-1800 Very nice. I liked your use of your clone's identity to gain access to the Plant. Even though the mission looked short at first, it actually turned out plenty long enough. (And since it's still a level 2 mission, it doesn't need to be super-huge) A bit of stylistic advice: Whenever you change speakers, as from Ginji to Shaydas, it's a good idea to start a new paragraph. (Double spacing not required for a block of conversation, just a new line to indicate the new speaker) Your brief battle with Shaydas was a great departure from the normal battle method, so you get points for that. Overall, Pass. 1700 and I'll go ahead and give you that Rank-up. Welcome to Tier 4.

MISSION- Ice Cream Clash
Boy, it's hot, isn't it? There's a vendor in Castelia City selling ice cream cones, perfect for beating the heat. The only trouble is that the Casteliacone is a very popular item and sells out every day! If you want one, you'd better hurry.
Battle two trainers (who likewise want a Casteliacone) with 1-2 Pokemon each.
Pokemon: Sandile Darumaka Scraggy
Reward: 750 PD and a Casteliacone.
After the Heat’s staggering defeat to the Mavericks, Nick had been steaming mad. Not even Zero’s Water Gun could cool him off! However, he had seen an advertisement for Castelia’s pride and joy; the Casteliacone. From what he saw, it was colder than a Vanillish in the dead of winter and tasted unlike anything else. “Grr…” Nick grumbled, stomping around the HQ. Someone had left the TV on, and the ad for Casteliacones was playing again. He noticed this, and decided to try one. It wasn’t like he wasn’t getting hotter… Right?
Unfortunately, the teleporters leading to Unova were a bit faulty, seeing as he and the other Aqua Mechanics were slacking off. Nick ran over to the one reading ‘Castelia’ and stepped through. As he was being transported, the teleporter suddenly short-circuited and launched Nick into Route 4 headfirst. “Augh!” he yelled, landing in sand. “… I hate everything.” He steamed angrily, a vicious sandstorm battering him. Sweat dripped down his forehead as Nick got up and brushed himself off. “Oh my Arceus…” he sighed, looking at the blazing sun above. “If I were a Team Magma, I would be delighted…”
Nick began heading south towards Castelia, resisting the howling winds and scathing sands. Just as the city’s massive sky scrapers came into view, Nick found himself on a road under construction. “At least now I won’t get sand in my shoes…” he grunted, taking his shirt off and using it as a turban. Beads of sweat continued to run down on him, evaporating before they hit the ground. Continuing down the road, Nick saw a red oval on the ground. He approached it slowly and with curiosity, and then picked it up.
“Huh. This almost looks like a Daruma Doll…” he said, wiping sweat from his brow. Just as he was going to put it into his pocket and keep going, the doll sprang to life and leaped in front of Nick, making an Uproar. “Darumaka Daru Darumaka!” it screamed, leaping around and spitting flames happily. “Great, just what I need. More heat.” Nick sighed, lazily reaching for Zero’s Poke Ball. “Go, Zero…” he dropped it without much effort. “Totodile!” Zero cried cheerfully.
“Zero, use Water Gun on me…” Nick ordered, bracing himself for a blast of water. A cold stream of water landed on his chest, cooling him off and getting him ready to battle with spirit. “Daru!” the Fire type cheered, punching Zero with its fist aflame. “To!” Zero cried, turning to face its opponent. Nick was feeling just a tad refreshed, and was ready to battle. “Alright Zero! Aqua Jet!” he ordered. The Pokemon nodded and rammed into Darumaka with a water-fueled attack.
Darumaka was knocked back quite a bit as the Sandstorm damaged both combatants and further annoyed Nick. The little Fire Daruma began glowing a violent red, then unleashed a powerful Overheat attack. “Whoa, what power!” Nick was taken aback as Zero suffered massive damage. “Hang on pal! Use Aqua Tail boosted by Torrent!” he began the counterattack. “To… Totodile!” Zero leaped and slammed its water-coated tail on its opponent. “Da… Da…” it spun around, dazed. “…Maka.” It collapsed, knocked out. “Poke Ball, go!” Nick roared, tossing the sphere at it.
One wobble, two wobbles, three, and it was captured! “Welcome to the team, Heat…” Nick mumbled, his energy fizzling out again. After picking up the Poke Ball and recalling Zero, he continued on his way to Castelia.
After a few more minutes of walking, Nick finally made it into the buzzing metropolis. Even more to his relief, the Casteliacone stand was in sight. “Yes!” he exclaimed, rushing towards it with newfound energy. Standing in the line, he was refreshed by the rigid cold coming from the stand. Many of the suits walking by gave him odd stares, and the man in front of him refused to make eye contact whenever he turned around to look at the crazy kid behind him.
After a few minutes of waiting in line, a toddler walked up to him. “Can I skip you?” he asked, putting on a cute face. “No. Beat it, kid.” Nick responded rudely. “Meanie!” he yelled, standing in front of Nick in the line. “Hey, I said beat it!” Nick yelled angrily; he was not in the mood to deal with bratty kids. With a swift motion, he picked up the kid and placed him out of the line. The child started wailing angrily, and grabbed a Poke Ball. “Hydreigon, Hyper Beam!”
“Whoa, WHAT?!” Nick jumped back in fear, reaching for his own Poke Ball. “Herdier!” a canine Pokemon barked. “Good boy, doggy!” the toddler giggled as the Pokemon licked its face. “… You’re kidding right?” Nick sighed, holding Coolio’s Poke Ball. “Doggy, he was mean to me! Bite him!” the toddler commanded his Herdier. The canine barked and jumped at Nick, who responded by tossing Coolio’s Poke Ball. “Scrag!” it huffed, grabbing Herdier and wrestling it away from Nick.
“Thanks, pal. Use Brick Break!” he ordered. Coolio let out a screech before slamming its fist on the dog, causing super-effective damage. “Doggy, use Tackle!” the toddler responded. “Herdier!” the dog slammed into Coolio, knocking it into the wall. The pedestrians and suits nearby were unfazed and staid in line. “Come on, bud. Let’s finish this with a Crunch!” Nick said, not wanting to lose his spot in line. “Scraggy!” it nodded, taking a huge bite out of the canine.
Herdier fell, knocked out. “…” the toddler started growing teary eyed, and recalled his Pokemon. Before Nick could say something, the toddler ran off towards the piers. “What a jerk.” One of the suits noted as Nick returned to line. “Shut up. It’s been a bad week.” He snapped, awaiting for his turn to get a cone. “Only five cones left!” the barista yelled. Nick counted the people in front of him; one, two, three, four! And he was the last one! As he brimmed with excitement, the people behind him walked away in frustration.
Finally, it was Nick’s turn. Just as he was going receive his Casteliacone, a voice rang out behind him. “I hope you saved a Casteliacone for me~!” a man with a green shirt and butterfly belt buckle. “Burgh!” the barista smiled, getting ready to hand him Nick’s Casteliacone. “Hey, wait a minute! I stood in line for this, and damn it, I WILL have it!” he responded furiously. “My, my! You’re feisty!” the strange man smiled. “Tell you what, stranger. I’ll battle you for it!” he said, posing flamboyantly. “I’ll take you and beat you.” Nick said, reaching for his Poke Balls.
“Don’t you know who he is? He’s the Gym Leader from around these parts!” the barista said, shocked. “I don’t care! I want my cone!” Nick roared, staring at the challenger. “My name is Burgh! Let’s make it a two on two?” the gym leader grinned. “My name is Nick, and you might as well surrender!” he responded. “I like your spirit! Leavanny and Whirlipede, win me a cone!” Burgh laughed as he tossed his Pokemon out for battle.
“Leavanny and Whirlipede, huh? Come on out, Heat! You too, Ted!” Nick summoned his team. The newly captured Darumaka and Starly looked at each other and smiled, then at their opponents. “Ted, use Aerial Ace on Leavanny! Heat, use Fire Punch on Whirlipede!” Nick stated the battle. “Whirlipede, use Protect and Leavanny use Struggle Bug!” Burgh ordered.
The Whirlipede put up a protective barrier around itself, avoiding taking damage from Heat. Ted slammed into Leavanny, slicing at it with its wings. However, the bug attacked by squirming against Ted, who was a little disgusted. It squirmed up towards Heat, who was also disgusted. “Well played, Nick! Leavanny, Razor Leaf! Whirliede, use Poison Tail!” Burgh smiled. “Fire Punch, Heat! Ted, use Brave Bird!”Nick ordered.
Ted the Starly cried out cheerfully and encased itself in a bright blue aura. He collided with Leavanny’s Razor Leaf, but managed to overpower it despite taking damage. Leavanny fell back, unconscious. Whirlipede rolled violently against Heat and slammed him with its tail. The attack scored a critical hit and left its target poisoned. Whirlipede also took a Fire Punch, taking damage.“Good job, Nick! Return, Leavanny!” Burgh laughed. “Dar…” Heat moaned in pain. “Don’t worry, little guy… Battle is almost over.” Nick comforted him.
“Venoshock, Whirlipede!” Burgh said, confident in his Pokemon. “Heat, use Fire Fang! Ted, use Wing Attack!” Nick ordered. “Venoshock!” Burgh ordered. Ted slapped its wing against the Bug, but ended up being poisoned thanks to its ability. The Whirlipede then focused for a second, intensifying the poison in Heat’s system. The poor little Darumaka managed to endure its suffering to land another attack, biting down on the Whirlipede, burning it. The two foes looked at each other before fainting at the same time. The two trainers recalled their Pokemon and Burgh laughed.
“Good job, Nick!” he laughed. “You’re a good trainer. Why don’t you come to my gym one of these days and take me on for the Badge?” Burgh smiled, approaching the counter. “Yeah, sure. As long as I can have my Casteliacone.” Nick smiled, taking the ice cream from the Barista. Burgh laughed. “Have fun, Nick! Hope to see you again!” the Gym Leader walked away with a smile on his face as Nick headed towards the teleporter located in Castelia.

MISSION- The Dragons Awaken A new team called Team Dragon has emerged and is trying to rule the world with dragon pokemon. Well they have broken into a museum and stolen a rare dragon scale! Your mission is to go and retreive the scale! (You will fight 5 Peons and an Admin)
Pokemon: Dratini Horsea Bagon Trapinch
Funds upon completion: 500-2000
~~~
Bright sunlight washes over the wasteland that is eastern Orre. The rock formations give a sense of mystery to the area, but are little more than rocks sticking out of the sand. On top of one such formation, five Pokémon are training. The leader is a Lucario, clad in a dark cloak with the Team Aqua insignia proudly displayed on the front. The five Pokémon each stand perfectly still, balancing on small rock spires. In a flash, the Lucario looks up and kicks off from the rock toward a Mudkip, who jumps up to avoid the dash and lands back on the spire, trying to regain its footing. It fails to do so and rolls down a few feet to a flat piece of the mountain situated under each spire. The Lucario lands on the rock that the Mudkip formerly occupied and balanced on one foot on top of it. His dark cloak flaps in the wind as he speaks.
"You guys are getting better," he comments, "but you still have some work to do." He looks at the sky before continuing. "It's getting late. Perhaps it's time to get back to Phenac--" The Lucario is cut off by a beeping from a bag laying nearby. He jumps over to it and pulls a silver P*DA from one of the pockets. The device opened, displaying a message on the main screen. The Pokémon read the message to himself a couple of times, as though he was unsure of the objective. Satisfied that it was indeed correct, he stuffs the P*DA into the bag and slings it over his shoulder. The group of Pokémon climb down the rock formation, as they had done earlier that day in reverse. At the bottom, the group saw a train roughly a mile away, stopped for some reason. The Lucario shook his head and began to run toward the train, slowing enough that the others could keep pace with him.
The train was obviously a freight train from west of Orre. A few of the cars looked as though they had been raided. The engineer stood nearby on his radio, reporting stolen goods. The man watched as the Lucario and his team strode up, examining the halted train. The engineer was the first to speak.
"You're not with those goons, are you?" he asked apprehensively, noting the mark on the Lucario's cloak.
"No," it replied plainly. "What goons are you talking about? Not Team Aqua I hope?"
The engineer shook his head and continued, "Some guys calling themselves 'Team Dragon'. It's really none of your business anyway. I've got things to do. If you'll excuse me." With that, the engineer returned to the engine car.
Shaydas, the Lucario, thought on this for a moment while the train began to pull away. Deep in his thoughts, he felt a familiar presence. He snapped out of his trance and looked about the area. A blue glint caught his eye. Upon closer inspection, he realized that he had found a Time Flower. "If I can't get the information I need out of people," he murmured, "I'll get it another way." The Lucario reached for the crystalline flower, using his Aura to activate it.
The desert wind stopped and the area began to distort itself, coming to settle in the same place, some time earlier that day. A group of men in flashy uniforms had stopped the train, holding the crew with their Pokémon while they unloaded cargo from a few of the cars. One of the train's crewmen shouted, "Who are you?" A man stepped forward.
"I am Drake, an Admin of Team Dragon," he announced. "Now, if you don't mind, we're going to take this and be on our way. Let's move out!" At his command, the other members hefted the crates onto a truck and piled into the back of it. The Admin laughed as they left. "Thank you for the generous donation to the cause," he called. The large cargo truck left a cloud of dust in its wake as it sped off to the north.
The flower returned Shaydas to the present as though nothing ever happened. He stood up and looked at his team. "Looks like we have our work cut out for us," he told them. "There at least six of them and I know about where they are going." He recalled the Pokémon and placed the spheres inside his bag. Shaydas knew that in Orre, if one wanted to get somewhere, he could make a straight line to his destination across the sand. The Lucario took off like a shot in the direction the truck had gone, hoping his logic would hold true with Team Dragon. The sun was setting, casting long shadows from the dunes. The only movement was that of Shaydas racing across the land.
Shaydas ran for several minutes before coming to a stop. He had pushed the limits of his endurance by running as fast as he could for as long as possible. He had covered at least two miles in the short ten minutes since he left the railroad tracks. His feet burned from the heat of the sand, but he forced it away from his thoughts, focusing instead on what lay before him. He didn't realize it at the time he stopped, but he had come to a halt at the mouth of a cave. Nearby, an insignia was carved into the stone wall. "This must be their hideout," Shaydas concluded breathlessly. "How nice of them to let people know who they are."
A low rumble echoed through the area as the floor began to shake violently. The ground collapsed into a pit below the Lucario without warning. He fell into the hole, using his wrist spikes to slow himself. The pit was roughly twenty feet deep, enough to keep most things from escaping. Shaydas slid down the sloped sand wall to find himself in a bit of a vulnerable spot. The sound of sand moving nearby caught his attention and caused him to look at a pile of shifting sand. A gray head appeared from the ground, followed by the body of a Trapinch. It looked either hungry or angry in Shaydas' opinion and charged at him. The Lucario jumped over the wild Pokémon and threw out a Pokéball. "Go, Mudkip!" he called, summoning the blue mud fish Pokémon.
"Kip! Kip!" Mudkip cried, ready for its orders.
"Take him down! Tackle!" Shaydas commanded. Mudkip shifted its feet and took off at the Trapinch, knocking over the ant Pokémon with a forceful hit. The Trapinch rolled over, squirming in order to get off its back. When it had accomplished this, it rushed at Mudkip, clamping its jaws on the blue Pokémon's head. Mudkip's eyes grew wide and it began running around frantically, trying to get the Trapinch to let go. Shaydas watched this and sighed, genuinely disturbed by what he was witnessing. Mudkip ran in circles for about a minute before dashing up more than half of the pit's side and falling back down, landing on the Trapinch. The Trapinch relinquished its grip on Mudkip's head and the two staggered about, occasionally bumping into each other. The two Pokémon finally ran head-first into each other and fell over. Shaydas bit his own wrist to keep himself from laughing out loud at the scene he just witnessed. With his free hand, the Lucario reached into his bag and pulled out his last Pokéball. "G-go, Pokéball!" he choked, tossing the sphere at the wild Trapinch. The ant Pokémon disappeared into the ball and put up a weak fight in the Pokéball. The ball stopped moving with a click, indicating that the Trapinch had been caught. Shaydas resisted the urge to laugh as he picked up the ball and recalled Mudkip. He'd made enough noise with the battle and was surprised nobody else had shown up yet.
Shaydas climbed out of the pit at the mouth of the cave and froze at the top. He was eye-level with a pair of boots at the edge of the hole. The Lucario looked up at the owner of the boots. A man in a flashy costume stood before him. Shaydas immediately recognized him as one of the Team Dragon members from the Time Flower recording.
"Look what we got here," the Team Dragon grunt sneered. "A trespasser. A Pokémon, no less. Youse might wanna leave before I have ta make youse leave." He pulled a Pokéball from his belt. "This is ya last chance," he warned without giving Shaydas a chance to react. "I guess youse ain't gonna leave without a little persuasion, are ya?"
Shaydas shoved the grunt's legs out from under him and jumped onto solid ground. The grunt's Pokéball dropped from his hand when he hit the stone floor and rolled right into the pit. The Dragon member jumped up and shouted, "You little-- You tryin' ta make me look bayud, huh?!" He ripped a second Pokéball off his belt and shouted, "Take 'em apart, Rippa!" A Machop appeared, ready to fight. Shaydas reached for one of his Pokéballs and called out Ralts.
"A Pokémon AND a Trainer, eh?" the grunt sneered. "If I beat yous, I'll make Admin for dis one! Rippa! Take 'em out with a Low Kick!" The Machop ran up to Ralts and tripped it with a sweeping kick. Ralts retaliated with its psychic power, dealing a heavy blow with Confusion. The Machop reeled from the attack, stumbling a bit as it ran forward for a Karate Chop. Ralts took the attack and shrugged most of the damage off, returning the favor twofold with another Confusion attack. The Machop slumped against the wall, unconscious.
"Darn it!" the grunt yelled, angry at how easily he'd just lost to a Pokémon. "This ain't over!" he called over his shoulder as he ran away into the cavern. The echo of footsteps died away as the wind picked up, howling outside the cave. Shaydas scoffed at the cowardice of the Trainer. He went back down into the pit, scooped up the Pokéball that the grunt had dropped, and stuffed it in his bag. After climbing out of the hole for a second time, Shaydas decided to explore the cavern. The winding maze of tunnels stretched for what felt like miles under the sparse light emanating from some light bulbs hanging from somewhere above the Lucario. A couple sets of footfalls on the stone floor reached Shaydas' ears from in front of him as well as his back. He searched hurriedly for a place to hide. The only place he saw was the wires that ran above him. With a running start, the Lucario kicked off the wall and grabbed a light. The hot bulb burned his paws, but he bit his lip and climbed the wire, trying not to show pain. The bundled rope of wiring that ran along the ceiling was well fastened to the stone cave wall. Shaydas clung silently to the cords while a couple of patrolling Dragon members passed below, unaware of the intruder above them. The Lucario shimmied along the rope-like set of wired, hoping to find what he was searching for.
~~~
Shaydas continued for several minutes along the top of the cave until he came to a large room filled with various crates and supplies. He dropped down behind a pile of wooden crates and peered about at the room. A couple of peons milled about aimlessly, apparently standing guard. Shaydas rounded the crates, trying to keep out of sight. He kicked an empty soda can, which bounced off the cargo truck that was parked in the center of the room with a loud clatter. The peons immediately ran to the source of the noise to find the cloaked Lucario trying to sneak away.
"Hold it!" one demanded. When Shaydas refused to obey, the guard pulled out a Pokéball and growled, "So, we're gonna do this the hard way? Fine by me. Reddin! Help me out with this one!" The other guard likewise pulled a ball from his belt. The two guards sent out Bagon and Horsea. Shaydas responded by calling out Ralts and Mudkip, who had recovered over the last hour or so.
"Bagon," one of the guards called, "Give that Mudkip a Headbutt!" The Bagon lowered its head and ran headlong at Mudkip, who took the full force of the hit and staggered back.
"Horsea! Give them a Smokescreen!" the other peon commanded. The sea horse Pokémon belched a cloud of smoke around Mudkip, who struggled to see its foes. Ralts focused on the Bagon and slammed its mind with a hit from Confusion. The Bagon stumbled about in confusion, trying to correct itself. Mudkip rushed out from the smoke blindly and right into the Horsea. The Horsea shook its head, hurting from the tackle.
"Time to get serious, guys," one of the peons sneered. "Bagon! Bite attack on that Ralts!" The Bagon blinked in confusion and ran straight into a crate, hurting itself in the process. The peon growled to himself.
"Horsea!" his partner called. "Take them out with a Twister!" The Horsea cried in response and whipped up a whirlwind that picked up debris as well as Shaydas' Pokémon for a second, battering them with rocks and stray cans. Mudkip landed heavily and struggled to get up, momentarily unable to attack. Ralts landed gracefully and turned to the Bagon, who reeled from another psychic barrage.
The Bagon stumbled about weakly, hurt from the heavy attacks dealt by Shaydas' Pokémon, as well as its own confusion. It tried to charge again at Mudkip, ignoring its Trainer's orders as it rushed forward blindly into the wall, effectively knocking itself out.
The other peon laughed aloud. "Horsea, you can do better than that, right?" he urged. "Hit that Ralts with a shot of your Water Gun!" The Horsea gave a chirp and sprayed a forceful shot of water at Ralts, who rolled over under the attack. Mudkip could just make out the shape of the opponent's Pokémon and took careful aim at it through the cloud of smoke around it. With an instant of focus, it flung a ball of mud straight into the Horsea's eyes, hurting it and hampering its vision. Ralts took the opportunity to hit the stunned Horsea with a devastating shot from Confusion. The guard's Horsea cried out in pain from the sheer power of the technique.
"It's up to you, Reddin," the defeated guard mumbled.
"Don't worry," his comrade replied with a thumbs up. "I can take this freak on. Go get the Admin and tell him what's going on." With a nod, the other guard took off further into the caves. "Horsea!" Reddin called. "Hit that Ralts with a shot of Water Gun!" The Sea Horse Pokémon gave a cry and sprayed Ralts with a heavy blast of water. Ralts shouted in surprise as the jet hit it and threw the tiny Pokémon into a stack of boxes, knocking it out cold. Shaydas cursed under his breath and recalled the unconscious Ralts. Mudkip looked at its Trainer, ready to avenge its friend. Shaydas nodded, as though telling Mudkip something without words. Mudkip charged forward, missing the Horsea by mere inches.
"Hah! Is that all you've got?" Reddin taunted. "Horsea, let's show this guy how it's done. Twister, now!" Horsea again whipped up a whirlwind that tossed Mudkip around. The mud fish Pokémon stumbled about for a second, then fell flat, knocked out. Shaydas growled a little under his hood. He sent out Pawniard, who glared at its foe, ready to strike the weakened Horsea.
"Finish it, Pawniard," Shaydas ordered. The bladed Pokémon ran up to its foe and knocked it out cold with a harsh slice. The sea horse Pokémon slumped to the ground and its Trainer called it back. He backed away, out of Pokémon.
"You're no normal Trainer," he mumbled, shocked at his loss. He ran in the same direction as his comrade down the tunnels. Shaydas called Pawniard back and adjusted his cloak. He felt a small p***k on the back of his neck. He reached for it and pulled a tranquilizer dart out of himself. His vision blurred as he realized what it was. Stumbling blindly about, he hit the ground and blacked out.
~~~
Shaydas awoke a few hours later. Stiffly, he stood up and leaned against the wall to steady himself. As his vision cleared, he realized two things. First, he had none of his gear or Pokémon. Second, he was at the edge of a coliseum. A glass dome covered the arena, preventing the Lucario from trying to escape. A man in a flashy outfit appeared in the spectator area and leaned against the rails that lined the edge of the stands. A smirk crossed his face as he held up a belt with five Pokéballs and and Ultra Ball on it. He reached for a microphone laying on the rail.
"Missing something?" the man asked smugly. Shaydas smoldered in quiet anger at the Team Dragon member. "Seems I've struck a nerve," he smirked, shaking the belt. "Tell me something. There are six Pokéballs here. Why have I only found five Pokémon then? You don't have a Trainer, do you? No. You are the Trainer, aren't you?" He laughed before continuing. "A Pokémon Trainer, right? That's a good one! Let's see just how good of a Pokémon you are."
Shaydas snapped. He ran at the side of the arena and jumped. With a roar, he slammed a steel hard fist into the barrier with his full strength. The Dragon member's smirk faded as he saw the barrier crack a little under the force of the blow. He reached for the microphone and pressed the button on it.
"Temper, temper," he smiled, shaking his head a little. "This should calm you down. Ryos! Christoph! Take care of this one." He walked away, leaving Shaydas alone for a few moments. A door nearby opened and two more Team Dragon grunts appeared, each with two Pokémon. The pair had a look of pure glee as each sent out a Pokémon. A Golem and Tyranitar appeared, ready to fight. A sandstorm brewed inside the enclosed dome. Shaydas' heart raced and his fighting instinct began to kick in. He shifted his footing and analyzed his foes for any weaknesses. Remembering his studies in Orre, he figured that he had the advantage against his foes.
The Lucario ran toward the Tyranitar, allowing instinct to take over. In a split-second, he placed one paw against the Tyranitar's chest and pulled the other back. He brought it forward with the force of a charging Rhyhorn, striking his foe with his Force Palm technique. A visible crack appeared in the Tyranitar's armor, making its Trainer flinch at the sound. Tyranitar fell back, tried to get up, then fell unconscious. Shaydas turned to the Golem's Trainer with a cold fury. "Make your move," he growled.
"Alright. Have it your way," the grunt smirked. "Golem! Magnitude!" Golem jumped into the air and hit the ground with enough force to shake the whole arena. Shaydas' legs gave and he fell into the dust, coughing a little from the impact of the ground coming at him almost as fast. He recovered quickly and jumped to his feet, ignoring the sand whipping at his fur. The other grunt scoffed and sent out his second Pokémon, a Houndoom.
Shaydas smiled, ready to step up his game. He began a dance that would inspire almost anyone's fighting spirit. The Houndoom's Trainer laughed. "Is that all you can do?" he taunted. "Going to take us out with a few fancy dance steps? Houndoom! Show this one how battling is done. Fire Fang!" Houndoom barreled forward, barring its flame cloaked fangs. Shaydas danced out of the way, dodging the attack by mere inches as Houndoom's jaw snapped shut. The raging sandstorm whipped at the hound, hurting it somewhat.
"Let's get rolling, Golem!" the other grunt called. Golem rolled into a ball and began rolling at Shaydas, who was distracted while dodging the Houndoom. Golem ran right over the Lucario and continued rolling, building up momentum. Shaydas waited for Golem to make another pass. He ran at the rock Pokémon, sliding to a stop close to it and stopping it cold with a sweeping kick. Golem smashed into the opposite wall from the combined force of Shaydas' kick and its own momentum. It remained there, knocked out cold. The Trainer recalled it and cursed aloud.
"That was a horrible pun, Christoph," the Houndoom's Trainer sighed. "Our turn. Houndoom! Crunch!" The canine jumped at Shaydas, biting down hard on the Lucario's arm. Shaydas looked at the Houndoom, relatively unaffected by the attack. He looked the Houndoom straight in the eyes and hit the hound in the chest with a powerful Force Palm, sending the Pokémon flying, unconscious, through the air. It hit the ground limply with a cloud of dust. A yell from somewhere behind him made the Lucario turn in time to get a face full of water from the other Trainer's Seadra. Shaydas stumbled for a moment, caught off guard by the hit. He tripped and fell on a badly placed rock, injuring himself in the process. He got up slowly and took a hit from the Seadra's Ice Beam. The cold energy snapped Shaydas out of his confusion. He ran straight at the Seadra and sent it to the ground with a low kick. Seadra squeaked in surprise, but quickly recovered.
"Seadra!" the Team Dragon grunt called over the wind. "Water Pulse!" The Seadra blasted Shaydas back with a heavy blast of water. The Lucario got up stiffly. He ran at the Seadra and threw it against the opposite wall with a powerful Force Palm. The Seadra blearily looked up at its Trainer, then fell unconscious. The Trainer growled and muttered, “This isn't over.” Recalling his fainted Pokémon, the Dragon member fled. Shaydas followed shortly after navigating his way through the dying sandstorm.
After navigating a maze of corridors, Shaydas found the Admin's office. The Admin sat calmly behind his desk, fiddling with Shaydas' belt of Pokéballs. “Would you be looking for these?” he taunted. Shaydas growled in fury. “Have I struck a nerve?” the Admin sneered, sensing the Lucario's rage. “How about we settle this like Trainers? A battle. Two on two. You win, we let you go. I win, we keep you. Fair?” Thoughts raced through the Lucario's mind at the proposition. With a nod, Shaydas accepted the challenge. “One thing,” he said with the same smugness that the Admin had. “We battle in a more open environment. Say, the desert?”
“Very well,” the Admin conceded. “We battle in the desert.”
The two proceeded to the entrance of the cavern. Along the way, Shaydas silently picked up a smoke ball that lay unattended on a table. Outside, both Trainers took positions in the sand. The Team Dragon Admin sent out his two Pokémon: Dragonite and Garchomp. At that moment, Shaydas knew he wouldn't win. Nonetheless, he called out Mudkip and Ralts. The Admin's Pokémon looked about as if this were a joke and Lugia were about to appear out of nowhere. Lugia didn't appear and there was no obvious joke.
“Let's just end this,” the Admin sighed. “Dragonite! Surf!” The dragon Pokémon summoned a massive wave that easily knocked out both of Shaydas' Pokémon. The Admin recalled both of his Pokémon. “Looks like I win,” he sneered. “You're coming with--” He was cut off by a smokescreen that appeared when Shaydas recalled his own Pokémon and threw the smoke ball. When the wind finally blew the smoke away, Shaydas was gone. The Admin reached into his bag for the dragon scale that he had stolen, he realized that it was gone. “That little...”
~~~
Shaydas had utilized the smokescreen to steal the dragon scale that Team Dragon had stolen and run. He arrived in Phenac some two hours later, out of breath. After taking a quick break, the Lucario walked up the steps to Phenac's natural history museum, returned the scale without a word and left.
Some time later, Shaydas was messing with his radio again, trying to get any kind of signal. A news station finally came through the static. “...and in local news, the rare dragon scale that was stolen from Phenac's museum of natural history was returned today by an anonymous hero. The person who returned the artifact declined an interview. If you're listening, hero, the curator sends his thanks. In other news...” The Lucario leaned back on his couch, inwardly congratulating himself on a job well done...

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Tropius landed by the ports of Castelia City, almost squishing several pedestrians. “Tropius, please be careful.” Rex recalled the over-enthusiastic Pokemon. He turned around to look over the metropolis. “This place is just amazing, haven’t been back here since I ran away from home.” Rex said, recalling sad memories. He shook it off and began walking the streets. Some of the citizen’s gave him odd looks, some of them realized who he was and tried to say hello, but he just kept moving. He walked up to the Castelia Ice Cream Shop. Rex decided he would come back after exploring the nearby desert.
As Rex walked into the desert, his shins were half consumed by the heated sands. “Ow, hot hot!” Rex cried, trying to get his legs out of the deeper sand. “God, that stuff is hot.” Rex conversed with some of the construction workers, just talking about random subjects. After talking a little while longer, Rex decided to go check up on the ice cream stand. He began heading back, trying his best to keep his legs out of the deeper sands. That’s when he was approached by a Pokemon. “What’s that?” Rex took out his TADS.
Dex Entry: Sandile The Desert Croc Pokemon They live buried in the sands of the desert. The sun-warmed sands prevent their body temperature from dropping. Dex closed.
“Wow, a Sandile!” Rex said happily. “Your mine!” Rex said, taking out a Poke Ball.
Battle Start!
“Go, Corphish!” Rex sent out the crab Pokemon. Corphish didn’t seem to sink into the sand, which would help out a lot. “Use Surf!” Corphish summoned a wave of water, consuming the Sandile and turning the sand into thick mud. “Yeah, that should stop it from burrowing.”
The Sandile stood back up, charging Corphish with a Bite. Corphish was not fast enough and the Sandile bit Corphish hard on the claw. “Bubblebeam right into its mouth!” Rex told his Pokemon. Corphish opened its claw just enough to fit the Bubblebeam through the opening of its claw. It fired a mass of bubbles into Sandile’s mouth, causing it to spaz out and retreat away from Corphish.
“Sandile…” It cried softly. Sandile cried out again, but a lot louder, and more aggressive, sending out an Earthquake. The desert shook violently, dealing damage to any Pokemon besides the Sandile Rex was fighting. “One more Bubblebeam should do it Corphish!” Rex shouted. Corphish shot another Bubblebeam at Sandile, subduing it.
“San…dile….” Sandile groaned.
“Poke Ball, GO!” Rex threw the Poke Ball at Sandile. Sandile disappeared into the Poke Ball.
Wiggle… Wiggle…. Wiggle….. DING!
The Poke Ball transported away.
Battle ended. “Well, now that that is taken care of, I want an Ice Cream.” Rex ran back to the ice cream stand. There was only two cones left for the day, and there were two other trainers besides Rex. One was an elderly man, and the other was an eight year old boy.
“I feel bad about this but I need one of those Ice Cream Cones!” Rex told the two.
“Fine, you will have to battle us!” The boy growled.
“Um, ok fine…” Rex sighed at the boy’s comment.
The boy sent out a Watchog, which stood right next to him. “Your Pokemon can’t stand up to Watchog!” He said cockily.
“Don’t be so sure!” Rex grabbed a Poke Ball.
BATTLE START!
“Go, Cyndaquil!” Rex sent out the shiny mouse Pokemon.
“Cynda!” Cyndaquil ignited its back. “Cyndaquil!”
“Cyndaquil, Flamethrower, let’s go!” Rex cried out. Many citizens had to jump out of the way as the Flamethrower headed straight towards Watchog. At the last second, Watchog jumped high into the air. In midair, Watchog sent out psychic pulses, using Hypnosis.
The Hypnosis took effect on Cyndaquil. “Damn, Cyndaquil, return!” Rex recalled Cyndaquil. “Go, Klink!” Rex threw out the robotic Pokemon. “Klink…”
“Watchog, use Super Fang!” Watchog charged at Klink, fangs glowing with pure power. Klink floated slowly out of the way. Watchog skidded to a stop.
“Klink, Thundershock!” Klink spun fast, sending out a Thundershock towards Watchog. Watchog was hit, taking a critical hit.
“Ergh, Watchog, go for another Super Fang!” Watchog jumped into the air, biting down on Klink’s metallic body. Klink’s HP was depleted by half.
“Klink, finish it off, use another Thundershock!” Klink fired another Thundershock towards Watchog. Watchog took the damage, but did not withstand it. Watchog fell over, fainting.
“Return.” The Boy recalled Watchog. “Go, Liepard!” The Liepard appeared. “Liepard use Night Slash!” Liepards claws glowed with a dark energy, slashing at Klink, who almost fainted.
“Klink, take as much HP from that Liepard with your strongest Thundershock!” Klink generated a massive Thundershock, taking half of Liepard’s HP.
“Another Night Slash!” Liepard’s trainer commanded. Klink was fainted by the attack.
“Return Klink!” Rex recalled Klink. “Go, Sewaddle!” The Bug Pokemon appeared. “Finish it off with a Razor Leaf!” Sewaddle sent out the sharp leaves towards Liepard, slashing it multiple times, causing it to faint.
Battle ended.
The little boy ran off in anger as he recalled his Pokemon. “Ok sonny, now deal with me!” The old man smiled. He threw a Poke Ball into the air, sending out a Mightyena.
“Grrr…” It growled.
“Ok, let’s go!” Rex smiled.
BATTLE START!
“Sewaddle, String Shot!” Rex commanded. Sewaddle sent out a string shot towards Mightyena, binding its back legs.
“Mightyena, use Bite!” The Mightyena dragged its back legs as it charged towards Sewaddle, using Bite.
“WADDLE!” Sewaddle cried out in pain.
“Bug Bite!” Rex told the Pokemon. Sewaddle bit at Mightyena’s snout, causing it to release its hold. Sewaddle jumped back in front of Rex.
“Take down!” The old man told his Pokemon. Sewaddle easily dodged thanks to String Shot.
“Finish it with a Razor Leaf!” Sewaddle launched a Razor Leaf, fainting Mightyena.
“Return.” The man said. “Go Audino!” The Audino appeared in front of Sewaddle. “Use Double-Edge!” Audino glowed with an amazing power, tackling Sewaddle, causing it to faint, but not without doing great damage to itself at the same time.
“Return Sewaddle.” Rex recalled his Sewaddle. “Go Joltik.” After a long absence on Rex’s team, Joltik made in appearance for the first time in awhile. “Use Electroweb!” Joltik spit out an electrically-charged web, shocking Audino, managing a critical hit, fainting Audino.
Battle ended.
“Good battle sonny.” The old man chuckled, walking off. Rex smiled, victory was his, Joltik jumped up on his shoulder while he bought a Castelia-Cone and left.

Ukeke MISSION- Ice Cream Clash Boy, it's hot, isn't it? There's a vendor in Castelia City selling ice cream cones, perfect for beating the heat. The only trouble is that the Casteliacone is a very popular item and sells out every day! If you want one, you'd better hurry. Battle two trainers (who likewise want a Casteliacone) with 1-2 Pokemon each. Pokemon: Sandile Darumaka Scraggy Reward: 750 PD and a Casteliacone. Well done, very well done. Too the grade. There wasn't really anything wrong with the mission itself. The battles were detailed, the story was good, and the expressions and humor were excellent, as always. Two things, though: first off, the dialogue. When a new person is speaking, it's best to start a new paragraph. Like Thard said. Of course, you did this mission before you got the grade. I'm sure there will be more. Before posting the next mission, implement the new dialogue technique me and Thard told you about just now, in these grades. The other thing was little Heat, the Darumaka. The battle against him was great, with a bunch of strong moves flowing each way to make the battle... erm, heated. Though it'd seem that Totodile might have knocked out Darumaka at that point. But who am I to say? There was, however, the battle against Burgh. That's where the problem is. You sent out heat, and then had him take on a hit, poisoning, a Venoshock, and other various moves. Darumaka should have probably fainted upon the first hit, maybe the second from poisoning. Make sure things like that don't get away from you. It might matter in level three and four missions. Anyways, good job on this mission. PASS. You get 750 PD, Heat the Darumaka, and that tasty CasteliaCone (which I still haven't gotten to try in-game. It's almost as bad as the RageCandyBar... except you get one of those! Gah! *rants some more about ice cream*). Now post more missions! Whoo! Supplementary note: Be careful about using Gym Leaders and similar people during a mission.----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Foxx Sevren MISSION- The Dragons Awaken A new team called Team Dragon has emerged and is trying to rule the world with dragon pokemon. Well they have broken into a museum and stolen a rare dragon scale! Your mission is to go and retreive the scale! (You will fight 5 Peons and an Admin) Pokemon: Dratini Horsea Bagon Trapinch Funds upon completion: 500-2000 Ok. Wow. I really liked this mission report. There wasn't anything wrong with the battling, the story was great, and I love the twist of you being able to fight, and having only five pokemon on your belt because you're the sixth pokemon. Really, all of this is great. The only thing was you tended to use the phrase "Have I struck a nerve?" alot. You used it three or four times. Also, I didn't notice you speaking alot, minus in the beginning to the entrance pit of the cave. Added to the mysteriousness of Shaydas, too. Good job on that. Anyways, short and sweet on my part, thanks to the good mission. PASS. Keep Trapinch, take 1600 PD for your troubles, and I'd like to rank you up. Congratulations, you're now an Aqua Grunt. Doing a Level 3 mission, I can't see why you haven't been ranked up sooner. Keep up the good work, and keep 'em comin'. Please. biggrin (My grades can be overturned by Tier 1 at any time)

Lycan Savior Origin MISSION- Ice Cream Clash Boy, it's hot, isn't it? There's a vendor in Castelia City selling ice cream cones, perfect for beating the heat. The only trouble is that the Casteliacone is a very popular item and sells out every day! If you want one, you'd better hurry. Battle two trainers (who likewise want a Casteliacone) with 1-2 Pokemon each. Pokemon: Sandile Darumaka Scraggy Reward: 750 PD and a Casteliacone. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The basics are there. Your story was fairly sparse, but that's not especially important on this mission. I liked the battle against the wild Sandile. It was brief, but had good balance. (Minor grammar note: "you're mine" ) I do have some issues with your other battles. Watchog and Liepard are both evolved pokemon, yet you're fighting them with Thunder shock and knocking off half their HP at a time. And again, Sewaddle against Mightyena, despite the type advantage, is going to be more difficult because of the evolution factor. (And you're lucky Take Down is somewhat inaccurate, because String Shot only lowers Speed) The final part of the battle, with Audino, also poses a problem. Double-Edge only causes recoil based on the damage inflicted. If the foe is near fainting already, Double-Edge will have less recoil. Given Audino's natural bulk, I doubt even a critical hit from one attack will be a sure-fire knockout. I'm afraid I'm going to have to fail this one. On the redo, consider changing all the opposing evolved pokemon to their earlier state. I'd also recommend extending the battle between Joltik and Audino. (And ... who got the second Casteliacone?)

Quote: MISSION- Cloning Evolution Must complete Clone Clearout I’ve gone over the documents you recovered from the Power Plant and the results are unsettling. They’ve managed to recreate the Evolution Wave technology once used by Team Rocket at the Lake of Rage! It seems Team Clone’s next step is to produce a large number of forcibly evolved pokémon. Reports are coming in from the Sevii Islands about wild pokémon going berserk. This means their operation is already underway. Go to the Sevii Islands, find their hideout, and shut it down. (You’ll fight two Team Clone Peons each with two evolved pokémon and one TC Commander with three fully evolved pokémon) Pokemon: Any water type allowed at your rank Rewards: 1350 PD Nick was shocked to hear the results of Ginji’s research on the information he had stolen from Team Clone. They were apparently repeating Team Rocket’s experiments, but in the Sevvi Islands. Local Police reports also signaled that Pokemon were going berserk in Seven Island, which was probably where Team Clone was hiding out this time. After thanking Ginji for his time, Nick headed for the Seven Island teleporter. Once through, he looked around the lovely town; the scent of brine and flowers filling his nose. “This would be a great place to vacation to if I weren’t on duty.” He noted, turning his gaze to the immense Trainer Tower. “Tempting, but I’m on a mission!” Nick grinned. Before he started on his way to the Canyon Entrance, Nick called out Zero for company. “Croconaw!” the newly evolved Pokemon cried happily, following its Trainer into the Canyon Entrance. Not even after taking a few steps in, someone’s voice stopped them in their tracks. “Hey, stop! Don’t you know it’s dangerous in there?!” an old woman’s shrill voice warned. She slowly but surely made her way to the duo, mumbling about wreck less youth and something or the other. “There’s a lot of Tyranitar in there. If you know what’s good for you, you’ll stay out of there!” she continued. “Tyranitar? But I thought only Larvitar lived down here… Don’t they climb up the mountain when they evolve?” Nick said, a little worried about the possibility of facing one of the strongest Pokemon in the world. Although they were really weak against fighting types, he wasn’t sure Coolio’s newfound strength would be enough to bring more than a few down. “That they do. But these are no ordinary Tyranitar. Before all this madness started, I used to visit the Larvitar and bring them Lava Cookies. Until one day a few weeks ago… I was coming down the Canyon with the Cookies, but I noticed all the Pokemon were gone. When I finally made it to the Larvitars, they were acting strange… They were attacking each other, and when they saw me, they also charged at me. Luckily, I had my Pokemon with me, so I managed to Fly out of their reach. Before soaring away, I looked down to see they were grunting in pain and anger, evolving into Pupitars. As I left the Canyon, I heard the cries of Tyranitars…” the old lady finished. “Hmm. I think I might know why.” Nick bit his lip, looking down at Zero. “Why are they doing this?” she questioned. “Sorry, I can’t tell you. Confidential Business.” Nick apologized and turned around, returning to the Canyon Entry path. The old lady stayed where she was, looking him over with a curious eye. “Alright, everyone out! Team Conference!” he called out his entire Pokemon team. “We might be up against some serious opposition, guys. Not only do we have Tyranitars to worry about, we also have Team Clone to mind. I’m sure they’ve gotten wise to me sneaking in as Clone Nick, so infiltrating will not be an easy task.” He continued to walk and talking, noticing the Canyon Entry was devoid of most wildlife. An occasional Psyduck or Slowpoke would appear poking at grass in search of food. “So we need to have a plan. If we get faced with a Tyranitar, Coolio is our best bet.” Nick pointed at his Scrafty, who nodded in understandment nervously. “Now as for Team Clone… We have to try our best to not get caught, since we do NOT want to run into an admin.” He continued, starting to climb a hill. “Stay safe, stay aware, and stay strong.” Nick concluded, recalling all of his Pokemon but Zero again. Upon finally reaching the top of the hill, his jaw dropped. Before him was a sea of sand brought upon by the Tyranitar’s ability. Dead plants littered the scenery and the howling winds scattered sand all over the Canyon. Tyranitars roamed the area in the distance, ramming against each other and the rocks. Nick and Zero slowly made their way down the hill, making sure not to draw attention to them. “Croc? Croco Croconaw!” Zero nudged Nick, noticing human footprints on the sand near a small cave. He grabbed him, dragging him towards the cave. Nick didn’t protest, he acknowledged the finding and wanted to explore it anyway. They entered through the small hole in the wall and examined the area around them. “This is weird. It looks like the Tanoby Key, but not quite…” Nick noted, observing the large stones and holes in the ground. However, the formation of the stones was rather off. “Hmm… Well, let’s move the rocks into the holes, to see what happens.” He commanded, pushing the stones around with Zero’s help. After almost ten minutes of shoving stones around, Nick got on top of a rock to check the formation of the stones. “Huh. A C. Why did I expect any different?” he rolled his eyes and got off. Just as he did, Zero pushed the final stone into place. Suddenly, the floor started rumbling, knocking Nick and Zero to the floor. “Whoa!” he yelled, starting to get back up. Just as Nick got up, the rumbling spread towards the South. “This whole day is just weird. Come on, we should go find the Team Clone base.” He stepped out of the Tanoby Key and observed the sandy terrain before him. “Alright, Zero. We need to sneak towards the shore all the way over there. Tyranitars don’t like water, so we should be safe as long as we’re there. Besides, we need to find Team Clone’s base. Hopefully it’s nearby…” Nick concluded. Once again, the two set out to the shore. Zero and Nick ducked behind rocks and giant piles of sand to avoid being noticed by the Tyranitar. With the shore in sight, Nick sighed in relief. “Come on, pal. We need to get to the water, double time.” He whispered to Zero. The Croconaw nodded, then ran after his trainer as he made a run for the water. “TYRANITAAAAAR!” one of the Godzilla-esque Pokemon roared, noticing two puny beings running towards the water. “RUN FASTER!” Nick exclaimed, turning white with fear as the Tyranitar fired Hyper Beams in his direction. “Croco?!” Zero asked, turning around to fight. “No, don’t fight it! Run!” Nick ordered, finally reaching the shore. “Surf, Zero!” he commanded. The Croconaw turned and fled the Tyranitar as ordered. “Croconaw!” it cried, summoning a wave of water to speed its retreat. As it rode the way, Zero picked Nick up and swung him on his back. As they surfed out of the Canyon, a stray Hyper Beam hit a Cliffside and dropped a few rocks on the shore, blocking reentry. “Well this sucks.” Nick sighed, watching the Tyranitars attack each other in fits of fury. He brushed sand off his Team Aqua uniform and turned to look behind him. “Whoa.” He blinked, observing the multitude of islands he hadn’t noticed before. Unown orbited all around the islands, almost as if they were alarmed with something. “Why are all the Unown doing that?” Nick cocked his head to the side. However, there was something amidst the activity of the Pokemon. One of the islands had no Unown orbiting around it. “Hey, Zero? Swim up to that island, why don’t you?”he ordered his Pokemon. The Croconaw nodded, and began swimming towards the island free of Unown. As they got closer, Nick noticed a giant net full of Magikarp. “Hmm… This draws too many parallels with the forced evolution waves Team Rocket tried a while back…” he bit his lip as Zero neared the island. “I wonder if they are transmitting them through Radio Waves just like Team Rocket…” he fiddled with his TADS, activating the radio function. The signal came in just fine, so he ruled out that possibility. The duo finally reached the island and came ashore. Obviously fake trees were scattered around the small island and the ruins looked particularly modern. “Well, this is it. We’re here.” Nick concluded. He recalled Zero and stepped into the ‘ruins’. Taking a few steps in, he looked around the area. Computers were backed against walls and the only way to go was down the steps before him. With nowhere else to go, Nick went down the steps taking care not to be noticed. Upon finally reaching the bottom of the steps, Nick looked around the hallways. The hallways were labeled ‘Brian’s Office, Test Area, Pokemon Storage, and Team HQ.’ Not wanting to take any chances, Nick headed to the Test Area. At most, he would run into scientists who would confuse him for his clone. Like he predicted, there were many scientists in the Test Area who were observing the Magikarp he had seen earlier. The scientists didn’t pay him much mind and allowed him to read their research. ‘Magikarp make for an easy test subject. They are feeble and weak.’ Nick read what it said before the Magikarp tank. He continued over to the tank beside it, even though he hadn’t seen another one on the way to the island. He almost let out an exclamation as he spotted a red Gyarados being suppressed in a tiny tank contained with an electric fence. It roared in pain constantly, unable to move. ‘Accelerated Evolution causes discoloration in Gyarados. It is unknown why this happens, but it looks pretty cool.’ Nick read, nodding in agreement. ‘Poor thing… I should let him out…’ he thought to himself. Nick continued to look around the Test Area and observed the scientists exposing a Ralts to the Accelerated Evolution radiation. Upon closer examination, he looked at the device they used to evolve the Ralts. He noticed the ray was amplifying the power of the Upgrade Disc normally used to evolve Porygon, but was somehow being converted to Evo Points for Pokemon. Nick turned around to see a large ray gun, which was probably what they used to project the Accelerated Evolution onto the Larvitars in Sevault Canyon. A closer look at the ceiling proved that it retracted, so Nick was right. Having had seen all he had to; Nick decided it would be better to raid the Team Clone base with an Aqua party rather than alone. He then suddenly noticed something he didn’t right beside the door. It was Shaydas’ Clone! He was submerged in a large tube of liquid with an oxygen mask attached to his mouth and sensors all over his body. Nick then realized; it was he who had done this to him. It was recovering from intense burns. He approached the tube nervously, apologizing under his breath since none of the scientists were close enough to hear him. Shaydas weakly opened his eyes, and Nick took a step back nervously. The Lucario started shaking with pure ire, its palms and eyes glowing blue with aura. A crack appeared on the tube, followed by another and another, until it finally exploded. The healing liquid poured all over the floor, leaving a heaving and panting Shaydas on the floor. “… You… D-did this to me…” Shaydas grunted in pain. The scientists scrambled in fear, running out of the Testing Area. Moments later, an alarm sounded. Nick backed away from Shaydas, who was struggling to get up. “… Y-you… Will s-suffer… RRAAH!” he roared, blasting a Vacuum Wave that launched Nick against a piece of equipment labeled ‘Kanto Power Plant.’ Nick grunted in pain, but got up just in time to avoid an Aura Sphere fired in his direction. “Shaydas, stop!” he pleaded to the Lucario, who was on one knee and obviously in pain. “Quiet!” he roared, blasting yet another Aura Sphere. Nick rolled out of the just barely, this time letting the Accelerated Evolution Ray take the hit for him. “Ha! Destroying your own equipment.” He teased. Nick looked around for something to defend himself with, and found a metal sheet that had fallen off the ray. Shaydas was obviously straining his energy; he was already close to collapsing again. After standing once again, Shaydas fired one last Aura Sphere at Nick. “Return to sender!” he grinned, holding up the sheet. As soon as the orb of energy was within range, he used it as a bat; sending it back at Shaydas. “No!” he exclaimed before being hit by his own attack. Shaydas was sent soaring into the wall, knocked out once again. Nick once again returned his attention to the alarm and wondered why no one was coming to attack him. “Better not Jynx it. Time to run!” he yelled, starting to run out of the way entered. He then suddenly stopped, remembering the poor Gyarados. Nick disabled the Electric Fence by switching off the power. The Pokemon opened its eyes and looked at him. He stepped back in fear for a second, but stepped back up to the control. He pressed the release button, letting Gyarados swim away. It shot him a glance before swimming away. Nick ran towards the Magikarp tank to lower the net encasing them, but Gyarados beat him to it. With a mighty Bite, it freed the large army of fish from their net. He watched curiously as they all swam away. “Well, at least they’re free.” Nick shrugged. A quick look around revealed the scientists had taken Kirlia, so that was out of his hands. “Buddy, come on out!” he called out his Gloom. “Bullet Seed on everything you can wreck!” he ordered. The Gloom nodded, firing a hail of seeds all over the lab and laying waste to it. Once he was done, Nick recalled it and walked away. He grinned, walking up the steps and ignoring the unconscious Shaydas. He realized that Team Clone had wised up, they were probably sealing up all the exits instead of just sending a grunt to attack him where he was. With a sigh, he reached into his pocket and readied his Poke Balls. Upon coming up the stairs, he saw two Team Clone grunts facing away from him. “This will be too easy.” Nick whispered to himself. “BOO!” he yelled. “AAAAAAAAAUGH!” the two screamed, falling. Nick laughed happily as he approached them. “Damn it! Get ready to attack!” the first grunt said, turning around. It was Rex Clone, and beside was Itaku Clone. “Go, Crawdaunt!” “Golbat, come out!” Itaku yelled. “Coolio, Hobbes, take care of this!” Nick smiled. “Hobbes, use Electroweb! And Coolio, Brick Break!” he commanded. Hobbes attacked first, slowing down the enemy team and dealing moderate damage to both Pokemon. Despite being slowed, Golbat still out sped Coolio. “Air Cutter!” Itaku ordered. The Golbat flapped its wings harshly, creating a damaging slice that struck against Hobbes, but missed against Coolio. “Alright, Coolio! Brick Break on that Crawdaunt!” Nick ordered, confident it would bring the giant crab down. The Scrafty dashed at it, slamming its fist down on it. The Crawdaunt remained conscious, however out of sheer stubbornness. “Crawdaunt! Its Hammer time!” Rex snickered, watching his Crawdaunt slam its claw down on Coolio, scoring a critical hit. The Scrafty managed to stay up, but took serious damage. It was Hobbes’ turn again. “Electroweb once more!” Nick ordered. The Galvantula spat an electric web at his enemies, knocking them both out thanks to its high Special Attack and type advantage. “Good job, Hobbes!” he congratulated it as both Itaku and Rex reached for another Poke Ball and recalled their fainted Pokemon. “Darmanitan, go!” Rex called. “Your turn, Bayleef!” Itaku summoned his next Pokemon. “Galvantula, use Bug Buzz on Bayleef!” Nick ordered. “Protect, Bayleef!” Itaku ordered. “Damn!” Nick cursed, watching his attack go to waste. “Darmanitan! Fire Punch!” Rex ordered. Nick winced, watching his frail Galvantula get punched by a powerful attack. He sighed as Hobbes fainted, then recalled him. “Coolio! Low Sweep!” Nick ordered. The Scrafty slid on the ground and skidded towards Darmanitan, sweeping it off its feet and slowing it down. “Go, Sweetie!” he called upon his Chansey to battle. Despite being slowed, Darmanitan still struck first. “Hammer Arm!” Rex ordered. The fire Daruma attempted to strike against Coolio, but he moved out of the way just in time. “Ha!” Nick laughed. “Poison Jab on Bayleef!” he commanded Scrafty. “Sweetie, Attract on Darmanitan!” Nick ordered. The Grass dinosaur took the nasty punch, and was left poisoned. Sweetie winked cutely at the fire type, making it fall in love. “Bayleef, use Razor Leaf!” Itaku smiled. The Bayleef’s attack damaged both Pokemon, leaving Scrafty at critical health but barely fazed Chansey. “Snap out of it, Darmanitan! Flare Blitz on Chansey!” Rex ordered. The Pokemon did indeed snap out of it long enough to attack Sweetie. She took massive damage and was burned, but still stood strong. Darmaniatan also suffered recoil damage. Nick looked over at Sweetie and bit his lip. “Come on, Sweetie, stay up. Coolio, use Poison Jab again!” he said, concerned for his Pokemon. The Scrafty leaped towards the Bayleef, hitting it again. The Bayleef endured the attack with just enough HP to faint from poison damage after attacking. “Vine Whip on Scrafty!” Itaku ordered. The Bayleef’s Overgrow ability kicked in and powered up its attack, making Coolio faint. The Pokemon fainted shortly afterwards as well. “Damn!” Itaku yelled, grabbing his TCDS. “Tommy, this is Itaku! The intruder is escaping through the front entrance!” he hollered. “Go, Zero!” Nick called out his Croconaw. “Aqua Jet! And Sweetie, use Helping Hand!” he ordered. Sweetie smiled happily, lending Zero some of her power as he encased himself in water, then dashed at Darmaniatan. It impacted violently, knocking it out in a single hit. Rex recalled it and stepped aside. “Don’t let him escape!” Tommy yelled at Itaku through his TCDS. Nick blinked, recalling Sweetie. Before Rex or Itaku could react, he jumped out of the exit and ran for the water with Zero right behind him. “Surf, Zero! Let’s get out of here!” Nick yelled, jumping onto its back. The Pokemon leaped into the water and swam away swiftly towards Sevault Canyon. The duo came ashore and sighed in relief. Much to their curiosity, there was a man dancing on top of the rocks that had fallen down earlier thanks to Tyranitar’s Hyper Beam. “Hello, Trainer!” he greeted Nick without stop. “Join the Chansey Dance!” he laughed, moving out of the way to reveal his Chansey dancing behind him. Nick shrugged and then laughed. He and Zero both danced happily alongside the man and his Chansey. Suddenly, he felt a wave of healing wash over him and his team, they were fully restored! “Ha ha! Good job, stranger! And now, we spread our happy dance to other people!” the man smiled, dancing away towards where the Tyranitars were. “Hey, wait! There are… Tyranitars?” Nick said, climbing up the rocks the man danced down. He noticed there was only one, and it was climbing up the mountain. It appeared they were no longer being tormented by the Accelerated Evolution waves! “Heh. Well, what do you know?” Nick smiled, turning to Zero. “Whoa, what?!” he said, shocked to see Tommy clone and his Swampert standing on the shore. “Stop right there. This is the second time you enter a Team Clone base of operations and the third time you attack our members. It escapes me how you managed to get away without punishment after at least two offenses. Prepare for punishment.” Tommy said, Swampert jumping right in front of him. “Use Hydro Pump!” Tommy ordered. “Zero, quick! Get out of the way and use Aqua Jet!” Nick ordered. Swampert’s attack narrowly missed, and he was met with a powerful counterattack. The large mud fish was knocked back a bit, growing angry. “Good job, Zero.” Nick congratulated it. “Earthquake, Swampert. No mercy.” Tommy said coldly. The Pokemon slammed its forelegs into the ground, shaking it violently. Zero took large amounts of damage and fainted. “Ugh… You did good, Zero…” Nick sighed. “Go, Buddy!” he summoned his Gloom. “Swampert, Muddy Water.” Tommy grimaced. The Swampert leaped into the water and mixed it with the sand, then splashed it Buddy. The attack hit, but barely hurt him. “Sleep Powder!” Nick ordered. Gloom shook its head and fired off spores onto Swampert, who promptly fell asleep. As Tommy yelled at his Swampert to wake up, Buddy landed three Giga Drain attacks, causing it to faint. “Grr. Go, Slowking!” Tommy roared. The slow-moving Pokemon yawned, getting ready for battle. Biting at his lip, Nick knew Gloom could only last a single turn against it, so he would try to incapacitate it. “Stun Spore!” Nick ordered. Buddy attempted to land its powder on Slowking. The psychic/water type used its powers to predict where the spore would land and simply moved out of the way. “Heh. Use Psychic.” Tommy crossed his arms cockily. The Slowking lifted its hand and levitated Gloom, smashing it against the rocks, causing Buddy to faint. “No!” Nick lamented, recalling his beloved Pokemon. “Grr… Go, Hobbes!” he roared, unleashing his fragile speedster. “Galvantula!” it cried. “Use Bug Buzz!” the Pokemon rubbed its legs together, creating quite a racket and damaging Slowking’s ears. Despite the strong attack, it still stood. “Slowking, use Fire Blast!” Tommy ordered. The blast of fire incinerated Hobbes, knocking the poor bug out. “Whoa! How does it know that move?!” Nick asked, shocked. He recalled Hobbes and looked through his remaining Poke Balls. “Hmm. Go, Ecto!” he bit his lip, running out of options. “Shadow Sneak!” he ordered. The Dusclops nodded and vanished into Slowking’s shadow, then reappeared behind him with a powerful punch. The Slowking was on its lag, and Tommy knew that. “Telekinesis, Slowking.” Tommy smiled. The Dusclops was lifted off the ground and remained there. ‘That was pointless.’ Nick raised an eyebrow. He then remembered Telekinesis’ secondary effect; Almost every single move would hit Ecto! “Quick, get rid of it! Shadow Punch!” Nick yelled. Within a flash, the Slowking was gone and recalled. Standing where it once was, stood Aggron. “Aggron, Giga Impact!” Tommy smiled. Ecto tried to get out of the way, but couldn’t move due to the telekinesis set up by Slowking earlier. Despite its high defenses, Ecto fainted. Nick was down to two Pokemon. Swallowing nervously, Nick reached for another Poke Ball. “Come on out, Coolio!” he stuttered a bit. Since Aggron was recovering from Giga Impact, Nick had a chance to land a strong hit. “Use Focus Punch!” he smiled. Coolio focused for a short while, then slammed its fist against Aggron with unmatchable power. However, its opponent’s defense was so high, it only knocked Aggron’s HP to a little less than half. “Aggron, Superpower if you will.” Tommy calmly said. “N-no…” Nick shut his eyes just as Scrafty was punched brutally into the rocks. He recalled it without opening his eyes, and just about to send out Sweetie, who didn’t stand a chance against Aggron. He was interrupted by the cry of a familiar Pokemon. “Magikarp!” a little fish cried as it slammed itself against Aggron. The Pokemon didn’t even flinch at the weak Tackle attack. Tommy laughed, looking at the Magikarp that was now flopping pathetically on the floor. “Is that the best your friends can do? Pathetic.” He smiled before unleashing an evil laugh. “T-thanks… Magikarp…” Nick looked down. Suddenly, the sky grew dark and the overwhelming cries of a thousand Pokemon pierced Tommy, Aggron, and Nick’s ears; echoing across the Canyon. It was so loud, the little old lady in Seven Island heard it. “MAGIKARP!” came the cry that shook the heavens as hundreds of Magikarps launched themselves at Tommy’s Aggron. It cried weakly as it was engulfed by their sheer number. “Aggron! Get these insolent Pokemon off of you!” Tommy yelled. Deep from within the massive pile of Magikarp, Aggron unleashed a Metal Burst that sent all the fish on top of him soaring all over the Canyon and back into the ocean. “Hmph. Pathetic. Even with an army of Magikarp, you cannot defeat me.” Tommy smiled. Silently, the Red Gyarados rose from the ocean behind him. “Aggron, use Hyper Beam on him. Erase him from our wo-“ he stopped; a drop of drool landing on his head. “Now what?” Tommy hissed, turning around. “GYARADOOOOOOOOOOOOOOS!” it roared, firing a Hyper Beam at both Aggron and Tommy. The impact from the attack sent them both flying towards the mountain tops. Nick approached the Gyarados just as all the Magikarp began to resurface. “Thank you guys.” He smiled, looking up at the Gyarados. It smiled happily and dived into the ocean. The other Magikarp followed after him as Nick sat down and sighed. After a few minutes, he heard the cry of a flying type above him. “Eh?” he looked up curiously. “Hey, you! What happened down there!?” the old lady asked. She flew in circles, going lower and lower until she eventually landed beside Nick. “Oh, nothing, really… Say, can you get me back to Seven Island? I want to go home.” He asked. The old lady nodded, helping him onto the Tropius. MEANWHILE… Tommy lay face down in the sand, Aggron at his side. He stood up after a short struggle, then recalled his Pokemon. He walked around for a short while until he came across a dancing man with a Chansey. “Heya, stranger! How about doing the Chansey Dance?” he asked, still dancing. “Shove off.” Tommy answered, pushing him aside. “Oh boy. I don’t think Chansey likes people like you.” The man bit his lip as his Pokemon approached Tommy. “What do you want?” he sneered. The Chansey smiled as she reached into her pouch, then pulled out a Punching Glove. She took a step back, then punched him as hard as she could. “Ooof!” Tommy grunted, knocked out.

(changed it a bit towards the end, like you requested) MISSION- Ice Cream Clash
Boy, it's hot, isn't it? There's a vendor in Castelia City selling ice cream cones, perfect for beating the heat. The only trouble is that the Casteliacone is a very popular item and sells out every day! If you want one, you'd better hurry.
Battle two trainers (who likewise want a Casteliacone) with 1-2 Pokemon each.
Pokemon: Sandile Darumaka Scraggy
Reward: 750 PD and a Casteliacone.
Dex Entry:
Sandile
The Desert Croc Pokemon
They live buried in the sands of the desert.
There was only one cone left for the day, and there were two other trainers besides Rex. One was an elderly man, and the other was an eight year old boy.
“I feel bad about this but I need that Ice Cream Cone.” Rex told the two.
“No, it’s mine!” The little kid said in a snotty way.
“Sorry kid, but I NEED that ice cream.” Rex tried to say as nicely as possible.
“Klink, Discharge!” Klink spun fast, sending out a Discharge towards Watchog. Watchog was hit by the sudden surge of electricity through its body.
“Ergh, Watchog, go for another Super Fang!” Watchog jumped into the air, biting down on Klink’s metallic body. Klink’s HP was depleted by half.
“Klink, finish it off, use another Discharge!” Klink fired another Thundershock towards Watchog. Watchog took the damage, but did withstand it.
“Super Fang!” The boy cried. Watchog bit down on Klink, taking away half of its HP.
“Klink, NOW finish it with a Discharge!” Klink sent out the Discharge, finally fainting the Watchog.
“Return.” The Boy recalled Watchog. “Go, Purrloin!” The Purrloin appeared. “Purrloin use Night Slash!” Purrloins claws glowed with a dark energy, slashing at Klink, who almost fainted.
“Klink, take as much HP from that Purrloin with your strongest Discharge!” Klink generated a massive Discharge, taking half of Purrloins HP.
“Another Night Slash!” Purrloins trainer commanded. Klink was fainted by the attack.
“Return Klink!” Rex recalled Klink. “Go, Sewaddle!” The Bug Pokemon appeared. “Finish it off with a Razor Leaf!” Sewaddle sent out the sharp leaves towards Purrloin, slashing it multiple times, causing it to faint.
Battle ended.
The little boy ran off in anger as he recalled his Pokemon. “Ok sonny, now deal with me!” The old man smiled. He threw a Poke Ball into the air, sending out a Poochyena.
“Grrr…” It growled.
“Ok, let’s go!” Rex smiled.
BATTLE START!
“Sewaddle, String Shot!” Rex commanded. Sewaddle sent out a string shot towards Poochyena’s, binding its back legs.
“Poochyena, use Bite!” The Poochyena dragged its back legs as it charged towards Sewaddle, using Bite.
“WADDLE!” Sewaddle cried out in pain.
“Bug Bite!” Rex told the Pokemon. Sewaddle bit at Poochyena’s snout, causing it to release its hold. Sewaddle jumped back in front of Rex.
“Take down!” The old man told his Pokemon. Poochyena broke free of String Shot, charging Sewaddle, sending her flying. Sewaddle landed as Poochyena took recoil.
“Finish it with a Razor Leaf!” Sewaddle launched a Razor Leaf, doing some damage, but not fainting it.
“Return.” The man said. “Go Minccino!” The Minccino appeared in front of Sewaddle. “Use Hyper Voice!” Minccino rolled up its ears, took in a deep breath, and then opened its mouth, releasing a great shockwave of noise. Sewaddle flew back, fainting.
“Return Sewaddle.” Rex recalled his Sewaddle. “Go Joltik.” After a long absence on Rex’s team, Joltik made in appearance for the first time in awhile. “Use Electroweb!” Joltik spit out an electrically-charged web, shocking Minccino, managing a critical hit, fainting Minccino.
Battle ended.
“Good battle sonny.” The old man chuckled, walking off. Rex smiled, victory was his, Joltik jumped up on his shoulder while he bought a Castelia-Cone and left.

Ukeke Quote: MISSION- Cloning Evolution Must complete Clone Clearout I’ve gone over the documents you recovered from the Power Plant and the results are unsettling. (You’ll fight two Team Clone Peons each with two evolved pokémon and one TC Commander with three fully evolved pokémon) Pokemon: Any water type allowed at your rank Rewards: 1350 PD Ok, you must either really like me, or really hate me. Or the other me. In any case, you seem to like to include Thomas (Tommy's clone) in your missions. I have a feeling he's going to get more and more hurt as this saga continues. That does not bode well. Anyways! On to the grade. I never fail to enjoy your missions. They're all creative, and all exciting. You don't usually have any mistakes in grammar, and the battles are spot on with what should happen, minus a few blips. That work against you. One of them was against Aggron. You don't nearly give yourself enough credit with Scrafty and his Focus Punch. Focus Punch charges, and while you wait the opponent has to attack. So that was weird. However, the attack hit, and failed knock out Aggron. And then Scrafty fainted from a horrible blow to the... head? Besides that, there was "wreck less" typed. Doesn't matter all too much. Moving on. ...Magikarp army and the Chansey Dance. I got a kick out of that, and you really added character to the Sevii Isles in your mission, along with alterations thanks to dozens of Sand Streams from those pesky Tyranitars you included. Heck, I don't think I did anything in-game with the Canyon, or the Tanoby Key. And for heaven's sake, you included Chansey Dance guy! Well, to sum it up, it was excellent. PASS. Take your 1350 PD. -------------------------------------- P.S. When the battle between Gloom and Swampert occurred, I could've sworn you typed Golem. Though I knew you didn't have a Golem. And then the Muddy Water struck, doing minimal damage. I kind of flipped out. I went back, and reread Golem as Gloom. Just thought I'd share that. P.S.S. You make Thomas sound like a total jackass. xD (Grade can be changed by Tier 1)

It's more of a like. 3nodding As far as Scraft vs. Aggron goes, it would have still survived since it has Sturdy. Besides, I wanted to incorporate the Magikarp army and Gyarados, so if Aggron only had 1HP left, it wouldn't have worked so well. xd Thank you! By the way, about the Tanoby Key part... If you think I solved it for no reason, think again. The Unown only appear after you solve it in the games. Nick solved it because he thought the base would be hidden there, but it reveals the island where there are no Unown, which is the same one Clone built their base in. Who wants pesky Unown floating around all the time anyway? Just saying, because that might not have been clear.

Lycan Savior Origin (changed it a bit towards the end, like you requested) MISSION- Ice Cream Clash Boy, it's hot, isn't it? There's a vendor in Castelia City selling ice cream cones, perfect for beating the heat. The only trouble is that the Casteliacone is a very popular item and sells out every day! If you want one, you'd better hurry. Battle two trainers (who likewise want a Casteliacone) with 1-2 Pokemon each. Pokemon: Sandile Darumaka Scraggy Reward: 750 PD and a Casteliacone. Yes. Yes you did. Though I must caution you, should you ever have to redo another mission, to read over your edits before posting. Against Watchog, you ordered Klink's Discharge, but still wrote Thundershock. The changes to the battles do make them more reasonable. However I'd still have preferred Joltik take more than one turn to subdue the old man's Audino-turned-Minccino. A couple of parting notes: Your dex entry was fine before, you didn't have to double-space it. It gets a bit tiresome when you repeatedly call the same attack in dialogue and use the attack name as the move plays out. One option might be to describe Klink's Discharge as "the pokemon spun wildly, shooting bolts of electricity in every direction." Do you see what I'm talking about? Okay, time for the grade. You pass. I'll award 700 PD and congratulations on catching Sandile. To get reimbursed for the Casteliacone, please fill out form BE-103826/c and attach a copy of the recipt. Submit it to the Internal Accounts Billing office on the seventh floor. (kidding! Of course you're reimbursed for it)

Thard_Verad Ukeke Quote: MISSION- Clone Clearout Must complete Fearow of Water (COMPLETED) The word in Lavender Town is that Team Aqua has been moving large amounts of equipment out of the Power Plant. How does my clone know better moves than me?!?! stressed That's not cool... *plots evilly*

MISSION- Fearow of Water
A group of Fearow have been harassing travelers near the Power Plant. To make things worse, they have our emblem on their leg bands. Naturally, we're getting blamed for it. Go and stop the Fearow (fight 3-5) and bring back one of the leg bands.
Pokemon obtainable: Bellsprout Oddish Machop Spearow
Rewards: 600-1200 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Tropius flew enthusiastically over the land of Kanto. Amazingly, she seemed to be able to pull off maneuvers that a normal Tropius couldn’t. “Settle down sweetie.” Rex told his Tropius, patting her neck. She smiled happily, understanding to calm down. She flew straight and calm, not going all wild and such. Rex looked below, watching for the Power Plant. “We should be there any minute now.” Rex sighed. Tropius suddenly became alert and tense. “What’s wrong girl?” Rex asked the big ol’ Pokémon.
“Tropius…” She whispered, trying to not attract attention, even though the Pokemon is a bit hard to miss. She continued to fly, trying to beat her “wings” quietly. It’s amazing how swiftly and quietly the large Pokemon could move. The Power Plant could be seen below, as well as some dark shapes flying around it.
“Go in for the landing.” Rex told Tropius. Tropius began her descent, dipping down towards the ground. As Rex got closer, the dark shapes seemed to have seen Rex, and began flying quickly towards him and Tropius. “Evasive maneu-!” Rex was interrupted as the three Pokemon slashed at Tropius’ wings. After they had finally stopped, Tropius’ wings were too torn up to sustain flight. Tropius began plummeting towards the ground. “Return Tropius!” Rex recalled the Pokemon. If he was gonna get hurt badly, he didn’t want his Pokemon to suffer along with him. Tropius would be fine, probably. As Rex plummeted, he turned, seeing that the Pokemon who had attacked him were Fearow.
“Well, I found the objective….” Rex sighed, trying to lift the mood. The Fearow began flying closer and closer, close enough where he could touch them. Wait, TOUCH THEM! That’s it! Rex grabbed one of the Fearow, pulling it close to where he could ride on its back. He sat on the Pokémon’s back, managing to control it long enough so he could reach the ground safely. After getting off the Fearow, it struck out at him, but he managed to dodge.
“Let’s get this party started.” Rex smiled, grabbing a Poke Ball.
BATTLE START!
Rex threw a Poke Ball, sending out none other than, Cyndaquil! One of the Fearow confronted the mouse Pokemon, detecting prey. The other two watched, apparently respecting the alpha male’s authority. “Cyndaquil, Flamethrower!” Cyndaquil opened his mouth and shot out a blast of fire straight towards the Fearow.
Fearow was hit by the flames and thrown back. Right before hitting the ground, the Fearow recovered and regained a normal flight pattern. “FEAROW!” The bird cried, striking out with a Drill Peck. Cyndaquil was hit by the spinning Fearow, thrown back and skidding to a stop. “Eruption!” Rex cried out. Cyndaquil’s flames began releasing lava rocks, sending them flying into the air and down on Fearow. Fearow fainted, but soon got up, flying away, losing its leg band. Rex took the band before another Fearow approached him, which also struck out with Drill Peck.
Cyndaquil was hit, almost fainting. “Get in with one more Flamethrower!” Rex commanded. Cyndaquil shot one more Flamethrower, hitting the second Fearow and also getting a critical hit. Fearow struck Cyndaquil with an Aerial Ace, completely dominating Cyndaquil. “Return Cyndaquil!” Rex recalled the little mouse Pokemon. “Go, Nom Nommer!” Rex sent out the Sandile.
“Sandile…” Nom Nommer cried.
“Use Crunch!” Rex commanded the small crocodile. Nommer ran towards Fearow, clamping down on the Pokémon’s wing with its sharp teeth. Fearow cried out in pain, and then began pecking at Sandile with Fury Attack. Sandile let go and jumped back, trying to recuperate from the attack. “Ok Nom Nommer, now use Foul Play!” Sandile struck out with various blows on Fearow, using its own strength against it. Unfortunately for Fearow, it had a very high attack power, and fainted from the attack.
The second Fearow flew off, obviously defeated. Finally, the last Fearow confronted Rex and Nom Nommer. The Fearow was faster, striking with a Drill Run! Sandile was thrown back, but quickly recovered, charging Fearow with Crunch. Fearow cried out, and then countered with a Giga Impact. At such close range, the super strong attack also managed a critical hit, fainting poor Nom Nommer.
“Return…” Rex recalled the poor Sandile. “Now, go, Tropius!” Rex sent out his biggest and strongest Pokemon. “This’ll be a bit tough.” Fearow went in for a Drill Peck, hitting Tropius on target. However, Tropius had attacked with Body Slam, paralyzing Fearow. Fearow tried to strike out, but couldn’t move from the paralysis. So, Tropius struck again with Stomp, fainting the poor bird Pokemon.
Battle ended.
The third and final Fearow flew off, happy to be out of there. Rex smiled. “That was fun, thanks for the help even though your injured Tropius.” Rex patted Tropius on the shoulder. Her wings were a bit messed up, so Rex was gonna have to find another means of transportation. He began to walk in what he thought was the direction of the nearest dock. He would have to take a boat to HQ, if that was possible. As he began walking, something shook the tall grass. “Huh?” Rex approached the shaking grass. When he parted the grass, what stood there, was a simple Spearow, looking up sadly at Rex. “Hey little guy, are you okay?” Rex asked the little bird. Spearow gave a small nod, but then backed up, extending its wings in a menacing look, ready for battle. “Umm, okay then.” Rex smiled. He grabbed a PokeBall, preparing for battle.
BATTLE START! (….again)
“Go, Joltik!” Rex sent out the little tick Pokemon. “Electro Ball!” Rex told Joltik. Joltik concentrated electricity in front of where its mouth is, and then shot it towards Spearow, who was hit.
The Spearow stumbled a bit, being hit by the super effective hit. “Spearow!” Spearow cried, using Peck.
Being part Bug-type, the Peck did considerable damage. However, Joltik countered with an Electroweb, snaring Spearow in a web coated with electricity. Spearow cried out in pain, not able to take anymore. “Color Ball, GO!” Rex threw the ball, absorbing Spearow.
Wiggle… Wiggle…. Wiggle….. DING!
Battle ended.
The Color Ball disappeared, teleporting to the PC. Rex smiled; he had a new teammate, who would look pretty cool when he sent it out again. Rex typed a message on his TADS, requesting teleportation from the Power Plant.

Lycan Savior Origin MISSION- Fearow of Water A group of Fearow have been harassing travelers near the Power Plant. To make things worse, they have our emblem on their leg bands. Naturally, we're getting blamed for it. Go and stop the Fearow (fight 3-5) and bring back one of the leg bands. Pokemon obtainable: Bellsprout Oddish Machop Spearow Rewards: 600-1200 Well, I guess this is as good a time as any to grade. You did pretty well. You didn't apply much story to this mission, thus the fact that it's pretty short, but that's understandable. There isn't much you can do anyway unless you mix your own story into it. The battles were really good even though the battle against the final Fearow was pretty short. And I just wanted to make a small wordage note. you said "...,so Rex was gonna have to find another means of transportation." then at the end said, "Rex typed a message on his TADS, requesting teleportation from the Power Plant." I'm just saying, be careful with wording later. wink Also, I saw that there were a lot of the same names floating around, Every other sentence had Cyndaquil or Sandile or Tropius, though you made up a little for Sandile by calling it's nickname through dialogue. Try saying things like, the little fire type, the [classification] Pokemon, the Crocodile-like, The largeer of the two, the smaller of the two, etc. It'll give a tad bit more life to the story and won't bore the grader into an early grave with "Cyndaquil did this. Tropius did that. Sandile fainted!" You know? /hopefully helpful advice. ...Pass. 1000 PD and your new Spearow. Thanks to the little action sequence. wink
