Crenu eyes the Spearow carefully, it couldn't be that strong if it hadn't evolved yet, but one should never underestimate the tenacity of a wild pokemon. Not to mention Spearow were known for their aggression. "Don't go overboard yet Pupitar, wear him down with Sandstorm." Pupitar would have nodded if he could, his eyes went from trying to look back at Crenu to locking onto the Tiny Bird Pokemon. This new form of his wasn't very good. Pupitar couldn't wait until his development finished and he could emerge into a much more suitable form. He concentrated on the ground again, the sand from before rising up again and spinning around the field wildly. Before long the sandstorm became self sustained and didn't need Pupitar's guidance anymore, the rocks and sand just bouncing off of Pupitar's shell harmlessly. He knew he could crush this bird, but he also kenw it wouldn't be that simple. He could see it in his eyes, this Spearow wasn't going to give up so easily.
The wild Spearowclosed his eyes for a moment as the sand started to whip around, but once it kicked up he opened his eyes again and was able to locate Pupitar just fine. The sand and rocks dug into his body causing him pain, but other than a small wince he didn't make a move. This guy was underestimating him, that wouldn't do. Spearow took to the air, which was a little difficult with the raging sandstorm, but he stabilized none the less and suddenly vanished as he darted for Pupitar, slamming into him with an Aerial Ace. But Spearow could feel himself practically bounce off of the the rock type's solid body. This was bad. Spearow remained airborne for the time being as he got ready to keep fighting this battle.
Pupitar was surprised by the sudden attack from Spearow, it did very little damage but it did manage to knock him back a little. Pupitar got back up and held himself steady. "Heh, look at that. This little guy still thinks he can win. That was a nice Aerial Ace though, don't you agree?" Pupitar's eyes shifted trying to look back at Crenu, he hopped a little to indicate his agreement before looking back at Spearow. "Alright Pupitar, use Screech now. I want to make sure the next attack crushes him." Pupitar again hopped as if to nod, hovering above the ground slightly as he started to vibrate very subtly. The vibrations increased until Pupitar suddenly let out a piercing cry, and while heard by all the shock wave of the sound was aimed directly at Spearow.
Spearow was nearly grounded by the attack, the wave of sound flowing over his body and causing his ears pain as his defense dropped. He regained his composure however and managed to maintain flight as he shook his head trying to free himself from the ringing, diving down at Pupitar determined to pay him back. He picked up speed as a dark aura surrounded his body, this time hitting much better than before. Spearow didn't bounce back from this attack and kept flying, pulling back up into the air as he passed Pupitar and flying back around. He felt himself take more damage still as the sand continued to buffet him painfully.
"Hmm, that looked like a dark type move..probably Pursuit. Not bad Spearow." The attack did indeed hit a little better, though Pupitar wasn't sure how much difference the damage really was. He managed to keep himself from being knocked over this time though, remaining still in his stance using the gas in his body to propel him forward when he was hit. "I think we've played aroudn enough Pupitar. Finish this now with Rock Slide." Pupitar didn't hesitate to carry out his orders, he wanted to crush this little bird from the beginning. Pupitar's eyes started to glow as he focused on the ground aroudn his body, lifting a chunk or earth up into the air high above his head. The chunk broke up into several smaller pieces of ground and rock and were all flung at Spearow.
The wild Spearow felt a touch of fear as he witnessed the downpour of rocks hurdling towards him. But he wasn't ready to go down just yet! Spearow began to fly around avoiding the rocks, dodging left and right slipping in between the small gaps left by the attack. He nearly made it, but his left wing was clipped by one of the last bits of stone which caused him much pain, and Spearow went down. He managed to flap his other wing hard enough to avoid a crash, wincing as he stood on the ground angrily staring at both trainer and pokemon. He was out of his league here, he should have flown off with the other Spearow. But still, he was proud and wouldn't give up just yet. He stared back at them defiantly.
Crenu was impressed, he managed to avoid that attack rather well. "My hat is off to you Spearow. But you're going to me mine one way or another. You're golden color is nice, but I like your spirit. You will win me many battles, I can see that now. Pupitar, Rock Slide once more." Pupitar was also impressed, this Spearow had indeed put up a valiant effort. He hadn't expected this to go another round, but it mattered not. Pupitar lifted another chunk of earth and held the broken pieces above his head for a few moments as he stared at the Spearow dead in the eyes. After a moment he grinned internally, and let the rocks fly. He wasn't sure of Spearow was valiant, or just stupid. But if Crenu wanted him, then so be it. Crenu grabbed the Ultra Ball from his bag and held it firmly in his hand, ready to toss it the first chance he got. An Ultra ball might have seemed like overkill for a Spearow, but Crenu didn't want to leave anything to chance.
Spearow's eyes widened when he saw the second attack, this one would definitely finish him. Spearow got up and tried to fly out of the way, but his wing wouldn't let him. He painfully fell back down, the sand still stinging his body as he jumped to the side avoiding the first rock. He continued to try and avoid the attack again, dodging another rock and another, but he was clipped for the second time and knocked down. Spearow tried to jump away once last time but was struck solidly in the back by a rather large stone which pinned him to the ground and knocked the wind out of him. The rest of the broken up earth fell aroudn him, and Spearow looked up at the opponents. He could hardly see them now through his blurry eyes, losing consciousness. The last thing he saw however wasn't the tall blond trainer of his pokemon, but a black and gray sphere heading right towards him. Spearow couldn't move now, and felt the ball hit him, the next thing he felt was his body being pulled into the ball where he struggled to get free. But he was to weak, and the contraption held him tightly. There was nothing Spearow could do now, he just had to admit that he had been defeated and came to terms with the fact that he now had a trainer.
Kenneth suddenly came running up to Crenu as he picked up his pokeball, giving him a congratulatory friend hug. "Oh congratulations Shiro! Such a cute Spearow you caught! Ah, and it's even shiny, how wonderful! Seriously, can you imagine a majestic golden Fearow soaring through the sky, oh how marvelous." Ken was still smiling, but let go of Crenu when he looked at the clearly annoyed look on his face. "Heh heh, sorry Shiro, got carried away. And you did real good too young Pupitar. Oh I'm so proud of the two of you!"
Crenu looked at Ken, a twitch in his eye. "Hmph. I expected nothing less against such a feeble opponent." With that he recalled Pupitar and clipped the ball back onto his belt. He held Spearow's pokeball in his hand and looked at it for a little while longer. Ken was right, it was a nice catch. He could imagine this pokemon as a Fearow soaring through the air...which reminded him. He now had a pokemon he could use his father's Fly HM on. And he gained an edge against grass types, after some training he was sure to come back for Erika's badge no problem. Crenu clipped the ball onto his belt, the final slot being taken up as he now had a full team. Of course that didn't mean he would stop catching pokemon. But for now he was going to concentrate on raising the ones he had. He decided to hold off on training for a bit, he had to get Spearow healed up and it would still be a while until they reached Vermillion. Crenu took his bike from his bag and opened it up, getting on it and speeding off towards Saffron. If he was lucky, he'd end up losing Kenneth this way.

The Explosion had also sent Mai tumbling back as well, though she hadn't landed as hard as the redhead had. She slowly pulled herself up into a semi-sitting position, rubbing the side of her head gingerly. She was vaguely aware of Keegan yelling at her, and she looked up at him, wearing an amused smirk. "Heh, not on your life," she replied, taking a moment to look at her own outfit. It hadn't escaped the explosion completely unscathed, as she'd somehow managed to get mud all over the side of her leg where she'd landed, and yep, there was a massive tear, but it wasn't like she was wearing anything overly expensive. She brushed her hair out of her eyes and groped around the ground until she found Celsius' Pokeball, and she recalled the fainted Glalie, looking up at Keegan. "Oh, you still here?" she asked plainly.

Crenu arrived in Saffron in no time. It didn't take very long on his bike, but he was tired now. And what was worse is that he wasn't alone as he had hoped. Of course Kenneth had a bike, why wouldn't he? By the time Crenu had entered the city Ken had already caught up to him, his cape flowing around in the most annoying fashion. Crenu did his best to ignore Ken for the moment, riding through the city and looking for the center. One of the things that really caught his eye in this rather large and cluttered city was the enormous glass building identified by the large letters adorning the very top that read 'Silph Co.'. Crenu was curious as to what exactly went on in that building, the Silph Corporation famous even in Johto for it's manufactured good. But that was really none of his concern, Crenu had other things to focus on. Still, one could wonder. Not far from the building was the pokemon center, which was Crenu's actual target. Taking the Ultra Ball from his belt he placed it on the counter for Nurse Joy to take.
"Why hello there young trainer. Another challenger for the Saffron Gym?" She saw trainers all the time all with the hopes of winning the Marsh Badge. But few were the trainers who were actually able to get it, she felt a little bad about it actually. The poor pokemon, but the trainers were going to do what the trainers were going to do. Joy took the ball from the blond trainer and went to the back with it.
"No." That's right, there was a gym in Saffron. But Crenu wasn't looking for another gym challenge. He'd heard storied about the Saffron gym, though nothing much as of late. He knew that this wasn't a gym he could conquer, not just yet anyway. And even if he could, he had his mind elsewhere. He stood at the counter waiting, looking back at Ken who was content just waiting outside greeting all the people that came to admire his outfit, he sighed. Such a fool. "I'm just passing through. So hurry up."
"Hmph. It takes as long as it takes, honestly. And your poor Spearow here looks pretty hurt." She had a frown on her face when she returned with the pokeball, handing it to the trainer who snatched it from her hand. "So impatient. You should really think about working on that or else you won't have any friends." Joy huffed as she turned around, she'd treated the pokemon but was not required to do anything further for this rude trainer.
"That's because I just captured him." He said in response to her first comment. He snatched the ball away from her quickly as soon as she brought it back, turning to leave at once. "Save it. I didn't give a damn before I came in here and I won't give one when I leave." Crenu popped a cigarette in his mouth and lit it just as he was exiting the center walking past Ken and heading for the rout 6 exit. The next stop would be Vermilion city. Spearow wasn't ready for the Fly HM yet, and wouldn't be until he evolved. But it wouldn't hurt to get his hands on a badge that would allow him to use that ability. If Crenu remembered correctly there was a gym in Vermilion and the badge there would let him use Fly outside of battle. But Crenu wasn't entirely sure that he wanted another gym battle just yet. So maybe not, but either way Vermilion was still the target. He didn't want to admit it, but Kenneth had a good idea when eh suggested going to Sinnoh for contests. The whole point of Crenu trying the contests was for the challenge and the new experience, and the best way to test his thinking ability in any situation was to do it in a new land where everything was new. Not to mention that he may get to learn more about those moves his pokemon had been displaying. At first Crenu didn't want to go to Sinnoh, in fact he still wasn't sure he wanted to go, but for the time being he would go along with Ken's plan. The boat to Sinnoh didn't leave until later that day anyway so he still had plenty of time to decide.

Keegan narrowed his eyes at the response, and folded his arms. It was his turn to not be amused. "Yes, I'm still here," he snapped, now resisting the urge to kick her; it wasn't like she didn't deserve it. "And I'm not leaving your side until you pay for my ruined tux. And while you're at it, I'll also take that Raichu off your hands. She doesn't seem to be faring to well while under your care," he added as an afterthought, eying the pocket in which she'd placed the sphere for a moment or so before his gaze flickered back to her eyes. Despite her downright rotten personality and affinity for stirring up trouble, she was actually a very attractive woman, and as much as he wanted to stop looking at her, he just couldn't seem to make his eyes obey. "So... you just gonna sit there in the mud all night or are you going to give me what I want?" ===== Miharu relaxed a little when she saw the Golduck get knocked for a loop, and she could tell that Tingle had caused a lot of damage with that one hit. The Metang took some damage in turn, as well, but Miharu was willing to accept that for now. The Duck Pokemon poked his head out of the water and jumped back up onto his rock, glaring daggers at Tingle. "Blast it with your Ice Beam!" Marina commanded harshly, and Miharu smiled a little, knowing it wouldn't be very effective. The duck, nursing a growing bruise on his shoulder gathered the energy in his forehead gem and loosed another glowing, frosty ray of ice, still a little miffed that his psychic-shield had failed him.
"Use your Bullet Punch and go right through it," Miharu shouted. It seemed like a risky maneuver, but she had faith that Tingle could handle it. Tingle extended it's right arm and made a fist before speeding forward, a white light trailing out behind it which reminded Miharu of Aska's Quick attack. The Metang braced itself as it headed right into the Ice Beam, feeling the cold chill as the ice arched off in several direction, and though coating the Metang's hand in a thin sheet of ice it left him mostly unharmed. Tingle narrowed it's eyes as it drew near the Golduck and slammed the icy fist into the duck's chest, once again knocking it down off it's rock.

The port was boring, well as boring as a port could be. There were lots of people lugging boxes around and a few trainers who looked like they wanted a battle. To bad Robin didn't feel to much like having one at the moment. Heck she could probably win some money towards hew new outfit she was hoping to buy if she did win a battle. Shrugging she adjusted her hold on Brook and making sure Luffy followed her and didn't get into some kind of trouble she made her way to the more city part of the port town. It was mid morning and people were just started to go about there business and all the shops were opening up.
Wondering aimlessly Robin checked out a few clothing shops that were open but didn't see anything she wanted to buy. Sure the clothing was fine, the people were nice but she wanted something new. Something exciting and fresh and colorful. She wanted people to know that she was confident in herself and she needed clothing that showed that. It soon became apparent that the average brands just didn't have what she was looking for. Unfortunately they were also the only things in her price range. Sighing she figured she could at least look at some of the other clothes in the more expensive places. Who knows maybe there was a sale?
It turned out that the more expensive stores also didn't really have anything Robin wanted. The clothes were a lot nicer but still no where new what she wanted to be sporting. Sighing she plopped down on a bench and setting Brook down she looked down at Luffy. "Nothing seems to be catching my eye." She moaned in defeat.
Luffy of course didn't have much to say about that. He honestly didn't care to much about what his trainer wore. Still it did seem to upset her so he hoped that she could find something to wear soon as well. Also he was getting a little bored and it didn't help that Brook was making faces at him in the stores.

Riza watched as Weedle evolved into Kakuna with wide, impressed eyes, the corners of her mouth slowly curving up into a grin. Pokemon seemed to be evolving all around her and she was sure she'd never get tired of seeing it, even if it weren't her own Pokemon doing the evolving. "Congrats, Jae! And you too, Kakuna," she called, waving to the cocoon Pokemon realizing only after the fact that he had no arms to wave back with. Eris, on the other hand, had taken more than half a dozen steps back when the bug seemed to explode with a blinding light, and now something completely different stood in his place. The Cyndaquil stood rooted to the spot, not sure what to make of this sudden change of opponent. "It's okay, Eris, Weedle's just evolved, is all. Many Pokemon evolve after they gain a certain amount of battle experience and they grow stronger when it happens too."
Eris peeked over her shoulder at Riza, listening intently. So, if she kept battling other Pokemon and getting stronger, someday she could possibly evolve, too? The idea freaked her out a little, yet at the same time it sounded exciting. The fire mouse nodded and turned back to Kakuna, punching the air with her tiny, tiny fists. "Glad to see you're ready now," Riza said, nodding. "Let's give your smokescreen a try!"
Eris nodded, the pores on her back flaring up brightly for a split second before a thick, black smoke began to pour out over the battlefield, obscuring everything in a dark, smoky haze. "Quil!" Eris cried, clapping her little paws. She was quite impressed that a little Pokemon like her could make such a big, smoky cloud! * * * * * Once again Genki was off like a rocket, his fist reared back as he swung at the Roselia with all his might. His attack was just a bit on the reckless side and he put himself off-balance in doing so, leaving just enough time for Roselia to pelt him with spray of needles from her poison sting. The Monferno shrieked and danced back, though he didn't end up getting poisoned, at least not this time around.
"Time to heat this up a little," Katie mumbled, readying a second pokeball. "Use ember!" she cried, moving closer in order to get a good angle for her throw when the time came. After her repeated failures at capturing a Starly before she wasn't about to let this Roselia slip through her fingers. Genki dashed forward, quickly pivoting on one foot and lashing out with his burning tail, sending a rain of glowing wisps of fire raining down onto the Roselia. The thorn Pokemon squeaked and covered her head with her roses, not liking the way the fire felt on her grassy body. Genki, now seeing an opening ran forward again, crouched low before springing up for a surprise scratch attack right to the center of Roselia's body. Once again the grass-type went for a ride, landing heavily on the ground, and she struggled to get up.
Katie didn't hesitate for even a second, and she deftly hurled the poke ball, her positioning great as she watched as the sphere connected with the Roselia's back, and drew her in to it's confines with a red glow.

Mai scoffed and glowered up at the redhead. "What part of 'not on your life' didn't you understand?" she growled, shifting her position on the ground ever so slightly. The dampness was starting to make her feel cold, and she could feel the goosebumps forming on her arms beneath her leather jacket. She had to ditch this clown, and fast. There was something, however, about the way that he was looking at her, and she wasn't sure what to make of it. She suddenly tore her gaze away, realizing she was staring at him, the slightest hint of a blush creeping into her pale cheeks. He was definitely easy on the eyes, at the very least, though his personality was definitely lacking. Other than the badass good looks he sported, she really wasn't sure what her sister saw in him, if anything. As far as she was concerned, he was nothing but a cynical jerk.
"If you think for a moment that I'm going to give in to your demands, you've got another thing coming, Red!" she shouted, suddenly lashing with a sweeping kick of her right foot, knocking the redhead's legs out from under him. She wasn't sure this would have worked had he been straight-up sober, but right now she was taking this risk. She scrambled to her feet and made a mad dash for her hotel, which in fact was really only about thirty feet away or so.
=-=-=-=-= "Heh, thanks," Jaeshan answered, placing a hand on his hip. "Won't be long for Beedrill now, I bet." He decided against checking out Kakuna's entry in the PokeDex as he watched the Cyndaquil eye Kakuna warily, though Riza's explanation seemed to put her at ease. When he saw the thick haze pour out onto the battlefield he sighed. Using Smokescreen was actually a great way to counter a relatively immobile Pokemon like Kakuna. "Okay, just stick with Harden for now," Jaeshan instructed. That way, Riza and Eris can use Tackle all they want, he thought, smiling a bit. If he could have nodded, he would have, and Kakuna simply concentrated, once again strengthening his defenses.

It was around noon when Crenu got off of his bike, so suddenly that Ken actually rode past him for several feet before realizing and coming to a stop himself. Vermilion was in sight, wouldn't be long now. He could already smell the salty air that blew in from the harbor, very reminiscent of the air in Slateport. Crenu folded up his bike and put it down, they had gone far in a short period of time, so it was time for a break. But of course there was no such thing as a real break in Crenu's mind. "Time for some training, then we can go on to Vermilion." Crenu grabbed two pokeballs from his belt and tossed them out in front, the light that rushed out forming Snorunt and Spearow. Spearow looked around curiously, seeing the other pokemon and his new trainer. He held his head up high and puffing his breast out looking proud and superior. Snorunt on the other hand was not so bold and confident, instead she ran behind Crenu's leg and stared at the new pokemon. Spearow just looked at her and appeared to chuckle to himself at her poor display. Snorunt of course didn't like this and glared at him, firing off an Powder Snow which knocked back the Tiny Bird pokemon, only pissing him off. He started to squawk furiously getting ready to attack. "That's enough. Calm yourselves now. I didn't summon you to fight each other. Snorunt, we are going to work with your new move and your over all control. I will be entering you in contests so we'll work on your appeals as well. Spearow, I need to see what you can do in general. I'm not sure how well you are for appeals, but contests battles shouldn't be out of the question. The same will go for your other team mates, but since you two are the weakest I will train you first. Ken, I need you to do me a favor. You help Snorunt train while I work with Spearow. We'll get things done faster that way." He bent down to better look at Snorunt and patted her on the head. "Go with Ken, and listen to what he says. I'll be right here...don't worry." Snorunt looked at him a little skeptically, was he trying to get rid of her? No he said he would be there, he wouldn't lie right? No he was different. Snorunt having assured herself that Crenu wasn't leaving nodded and walked over to Ken. "Spearow, you're with me. Let's get started.
"Huh? Well alright, since you asked so nicely." He said with a smile as he looked at Snorunt walking towards him. Ken happily picked her up and carried her a few feet further away from where Crenu and Spearow would be training. "Ok honey, lets get started. Don't worry sweetie uncle Ken knows a thing or two about contests." He said with a light chuckle as he set her down. "You'll be dazzling the judges in no time!" Snorunt smiled, excited to give this a try. She was going to try her very best.

'That's what I thought he'd do,' Riza mused, wondering what a bug that couldn't move was capable of. 'Though Eris will be able to point it out just fine,' she thought. "Eris, use your foresight," she said. "Pinpoint Kakuna and once you have him in your sights, then you can attack him!"
Eris nodded, having already guessed that this was what Riza wanted her to do. The Cyndaquil closed her eyes and felt around with her mind. It was easy to figure out where Kakuna was, because he hadn't moved at all. Now that Eris knew where he was, she began to run forward, putting a little more heart into her tackle this time.
Riza's other three Pokemon watched from the sidelines, each looking quite interested in starting their own training. The talk about evolution hadn't been lost on either of them, even though only Yula was the only one to experience it so far. * * * * * The poke ball landed softly in the grass and rolled back and forth a few times, the red light in the center blinking quite rapidly. Both Katie and Genki stared at it, neither daring to move an inch until it came to a standstill. Genki was the first to react, and he jumped up, clapping happily. Without waiting he ran over to the poke ball and picked it up, smiling happily at it before he carried it over to Katie. "Thanks, Genki, and good job out there, you sure showed her who's boss," she said, turning the sphere over in her hands a few times. "I think I'm going to call you Seraphim," Katie said with a nod as she put the sphere onto her belt. "Let's go, Genki, we've got to get this medicine to the pokecenter, and fast."
The Monferno nodded as Katie got back on her bike. The Monferno jumped up with her, though this time he managed to perch himself on the back of the seat and hold on to Katie's waist so as not to weigh her down as much. The duo then made great time the rest of the way to Hearthome City, and once they'd arrived at the city voted "best place in Sinnoh to live", the only problem was actually finding the pokecenter.

Sam was amazed. She had never known this place was here! She wondered how they could have kept the new Safari Zone a secret for so long.
"I'm Christopher by the way. I don't actually own the Zone, Baoba does, but I help out so much around here you could say I own it. What's your name?"
"I'm Sam, I live here in Cianwood. Came home for the first time in a week, and now I find out about this!" The well-dressed man laughed.
"Yes, I suppose it would be a surprise to a resident of the city. Were you by any chance at the Breeder's Gala?" Sam was startled.
"Yeah, I was. How'd you know?" Christopher laughed quietly.
"You made quite a scene last night, what with slapping that poor fellow after yelling at him, being thrown out, and then sneaking past the guards to steal that egg. I'm surprised you would come home after becoming a fugitive. Put your family in danger and all." Sam was thrown for a loop.
"Steal? I didn't steal Devlin! He was given to me, and when I was thrown out I didn't get the chance to take his egg with me!"
"Ah so it hatched then? Interesting. But you know, taking a Pokemon from it's rightful owner is against the law, even if it is an egg."
"Are you listening to me? I was given the egg as a gift from the breeder himself! He was happy I had talked to him and was surprised by how normal I was." Christoper pretended to stroke a non-existent goatee.
"I suppose you should explain to the police then." He took a newspaper out of his pocket, and flipped to a tiny blurb. It read, "BREEDER'S GALA SUCCESS; FULL OF EXCITEMENT. The Breeder's Gala, held in Lilycove City last night, was deemed a 'great party' by several of the guests, including the breeders themselves. And it certainly was, lively music and dancing, the occasional pokemon battle, and even some scandal. Witnesses say a young girl, identified by a musician as Sam, first slapped a young man after having a shouting match, then for an unknown reason stole a pokemon egg after being thrown out of the Gala. Says the young man, Orion, 'I don't know why Sam would do something like that. First she starts going all crazy on me, and hits me, then she steals something? Sounds like someone didn't take her medicine.'" The rest of the blurb explained more about the Gala itself and other various happenings of the evening. Sam stood still, accidentally letting the paper fall from her hands. The Safari Zone stood in front of her, but she didn't want to do anything now except run back to Cianwood and set the record straight. How could Orion say something like that? Lie to the press, feed her to the vultures?! Sam felt something she hadn't felt in a long time, hatred, grow in her heart.
"That....That..." She screeched a noise of frustration. "I don't even know!" She muttered unintelligible words under breath in anger. Hot tears welled up in her eyes. Christopher stood, watching with wary concern. =============
Goldenrod loomed before the two girls. It was a huge city, almost larger then Saffron, which was the largest city in all the regions. It was certainly the biggest in Johto. They made their way to the Pokemon Center, where they dropped off the pokeballs. Alana turned to Eztli as they waited.
"Hey, we should go to the Park! I hear they hold Bug-Catching Contests! Come on, it would be fun!" Eztli shrugged.
"Yeah I guess, but aren't those only on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays? Today's Sunday." Alana's face fell.
"Oh...you're right. Well we could still go! I'm sure your Magby would have an easy time training there! And I could see if I could get another Bug or Grass Pokemon! I love those types. they're just so cute! Oh, how about a Sunkern?! Sunflora's are adorable, and I have a Sun Stone! Oh, but maybe I should save it to get a Bellossom! What do you think?"
"I think...Bellossom. But maybe you should get a pokemon with a different type then Grass or Bug. You already have Hoppip and Beedrill, maybe you should get...I don't know, a Water Pokemon or something. To balance it out, in case you come up against another Fire pokemon." Alana thought about it for a moment. Her face brightened.
"Oh I know! A Politoed! Those are just so cute, don't ya think? Much cuter then Poliwrath. Thanks for the help! Where do I catch a Poliwag? Or even better a Poliwhirl?!"
"Well you know you need a King's Rock and someone to trade with right? But I hear you can catch them in Ecruteak. That would be closest. You have to Surf though."
"Hm..." Nurse Joy came back, and Alana grabbed her three pokeballs. "Well thanks for your help! I'm gonna go to Ecruteak now! Bye!" She dashed out the door, Eztli raising an eyebrow. She took Xipil's pokeball, and thanked the Nurse.

Clever tactic, Jaeshan thought, though he didn't know that Cyndaquil could learn Foresight. "Brace yourself, Kakuna, and counter with Poison Sting!" he called. Not being able to see his own Pokemon during a battle always made him feel uneasy, even if it was just a training match. Such limited moves, and now an obscured battlefield. Riza's better than she's giving herself credit for, Jaeshan observed to himself.
Kakuna didn't like being swallowed up in the murky haze either, and he did his best to anticipate where the Cyndaquil would come from. He suddenly felt the Fire Mouse Pokemon slam into his side, and he turned quickly and fired a dozen or so purple-tinged needles. The attack itself was pretty good, except for the fact that Kakuna had fired the Poison Sting on the wrong angle, and it came nowhere near the young Cyndaquil.

"You're shown me you at least know Aerial Ace and Pursuit. Let me see a Fury Attack." Crenu said calmly pointing to a fairly big rock that was on the side of the road. "Don't hurt yourself on it, I just want to see your speed." Spearow nodded and took off, flapping his wings to hover in place above the rock. He looked at the rock carefully before cocking his head back and throwing it forward. Every time the tip of his beak made contact with the rock his head bounced back and he thrust it forward again until he stopped completely. The surface of the rock was riddled with small scratches. "Good. Again."
"Let's see what you know little Snorunt. Have you learned how to use Bite yet?" Snorunt shook her head, well her body really, sadly at his question. She didn't know many moves at all yet. Though strangely enough she had gained the sudden knowledge of another move that felt somehow familiar. "No? Oh my, you're much younger than I thought. Oh but that's alright. Bite's not a very pretty attack anyway. Hmm, Shiro tells me you've been working on your Double Team, and that can be perfect for appeals. But lets try Powder Snow first. I want you to aim it up into the air, make a pretty snowy night!" Snorunt looked at Ken nervously, she wasn't sure she could do what he wanted. She angled herself as best she could and exhaled a cold snowy breath up into the air. But it was mostly wind really, only a few visible clumps of snow. Snorunt hung her head defeated, she wasn't feeling good now. "Oh no no, don't be sad honey! That was your first try dear it's ok. Try it again, less air this time. Just concentrate on the snow, put some more energy into it ok?" Snorunt nodded and tried again, determined to get it right.

Little did Robin know the store that would have her new outfit would just be opening up around the corner. Since she didn't know though she was just sitting on her bench with Luffy and Brook making faces at each other. "Well since you two seem to be in such an excitable mood lets take one more look around. If I can't find anything we will go find someone to battle with. Burn some of that excess energy off yeah?" Grinning down at the two she got up and stuck her hands in her pockets.
Ok so maybe she wouldn't be able to find a new outfit but she could get some more experience for Brook, and Luffy loved to battle but he j3ust hadn't really had the chance to lately. Liking the sound of them getting to burn off some steam she started to head back to the shopping district Luffy following her on the ground while Brook floated behind her. When Robin turned the corner though she knew she had found her shop.
It was one of those small stands that were in the middle of the street, it seemed like it had just opened which is probably why she had missed it the first time. The clothing was all bright and had a sort of energy that was just amazing! Not able to hold it in she let out a small happy squeal before she happily dashed over to the booth. "Oh wow! This is exactly what I was looking for!" Robin gushed as she carefully reached out and touched some of the clothes that were hanging.
"Well I am glad that you like my clothes." Came an amused voice to Robin's left.
Glancing over Robin saw the man who had spoken to her. He was a large man who was wearing a strange but awesome outfit. Robin didn't really know how to describe it, all she knew though was that she had to get one of these. "I have been looking all morning for a new outfit and nothing has caught my eye until I saw this place. This is all just amazing! It's so bright and has such personality. It isn't even on someone but I can just tell!"
The large man chuckled and gave Robin a fond smile. "Well I am certainly glad to hear that you like my clothing. I spend a lot of time making all of them."
Robin grinned and was about to say something else when something he said hit her like a ton of bricks. "Wait a minute. You made all of this? Wow really! Am I really talking to the designer?" She gushed excitedly. Oh man this was so exciting!
"Haha! That would be me. My name is Charlie and I made all the outfits that you see here. " The man watched in amusement as Robin sang more of his praise. In the truth he didn't have the most business but it was customers like this that made it all worth while. Of course that didn't mean that he had no income. The people like this made it all worth while. "Here about about you try one on? I have one in mind that will make you look like a star." That being said Charlie started opening drawers and pulling a few things out that looked like they didn't match at all.
Waiting somewhat patiently, she was rocking back and forth in excitement, she watched Charlie and kept an eye on Brook and Luffy. The small Skiploom was laughing as Luffy used his tails to put hats on top of his flower. The two of them were having a great time by the looks of it.

While Robin giggled at her two pokemon she was brought back to her new clothing when Charlie shoved a bundle of clothing in her arms. "Here you go sweetie. I think this will fit you just right!" Charlie said with a grin.
Looking at the bundle of clothes then back at Charlie she stared for a moment before grinning and nodding. "All right I will be in the bathroom. I will be right back." She said with a grin before looking down at Brook and Luffy. "You two behave yourselves while I change ok?" She grinned and practically skipped to the public restroom that was near to change.
When she finally got there and into one of the small stalls she finally looked at the bundle of clothes he had given her. Well... there certainly were a lot of accessories! Still Robin was going to trust the man with the awesome clothes and so she quickly stripped out of her current outfit and began to try to figure out how to exactly put this one on.
Outside Brook, Luffy and Charlie were having fun putting different hats on Brook. Luffy and Charlie were enjoying it more then Brook was, the Skiploom was really attached to the small top hat that didn't really fit on him now but he knew that soon it would. Pouting the Skiploom knew that it would look great on him in his next form he just knew it would! How could he prove to the other two that it would look good though? Maybe he could show them the picture that Robin had shown him earlier? She kept it in her bag right? Looking around he spotted his trainers largish bag and hopping over he started to riffle through it until he found the strange red rectangle thing. Not sure how to work it he pressed a bunch of buttons on it causing it to beep and flash lights at him. It took him a while, and when Luffy had tried to 'help' him it took him even longer. But somehow he manged to get to the page. Putting the red box on top of his head he floated up to the large colorful man hoping he would get the picture.
"Oh what do you have for me here little flower?" Charlie asked as the Skiploom floated in front of him with something on his head. Picking it up he looked at it and the picture on the screen. "Oh what a cute pokemon." The large man smiled down at the picture. "Oh do you turn into this little cutie pie? Well if you do that little top hat would just be the darn-est thing!" Charlie laughed.
Just then Robin walked out of the public bathroom her old clothes all bundled up in her arms. She certainly looked different! The clothes she was wearing were bright and loud. The girl herself looked very happy and confident in herself as she walked over in the clothes. No one would ever guess that the dumb and not very confident girl from yesterday was the same person. Sometimes clothes and an attitude adjustment was enough to make you look like a whole other person. "Ah so how do I look?" Robin said with a huge smile on her face as she spun around.
"Oh bravo! You certainly look splendid!" Charlie laughed clapping his hands. "Oh just hold on for a second I think I can perfect it." Going over to her he reached up and undid her ponytail letting her red hair down from its confines. "There we go. You look much better with your hair down in that outfit." He grinned as he took another look at her.
"You really think so?" Robin asked excitedly as she looked down at herself. Glancing over at Luffy and Brook she wondered what they thought. "What do you two think?"
Luffy didn't really care what his trainer wore but he did think her new outfit was pretty cool. As for Brook? Well he was in heaven. He had forgotten all about his hat at the sight of all the skin that was now showing on his once average looking trainer. She hadn't done anything but put new clothes on and brighten up her attitude but she looked like a whole other person. Well he defiantly approved if he got to be out when she was looking like that. Her shorts might even slide up and he might get to see her panties! That would defiantly be worth it!

Sasha's eyes remained fixed on Mazarin as he spoke, her arms crossed so tight they were almost turning blue. In her hand the tazer crackled, eager to give the boy another dose of well deserved electric punishment. The had to fight the urge to zap him into oblivion as he prattled on. His very voice was like nails on a chalkboard. However, she did not let her hatred for him distract her from the real reason she was even in the same region as this boy, and paid attention to Mazarin's tale. When he was finished, she walked over to him, his belt of Pokeballs dangling carelessly in her hand. She wanted to forgo her promise and kick him around a bit more, but that wouldn't solve anything other than he rising blood pressure. If that was all he knew then that was what she'd have to work with. "He could be anywhere..." she said somewhat to herself. Sasha clicked the tazer off and leaned forward, once again staring the boy in the eyes. "I just have to say, you're lucky that Kirsa isn't here. If you think being tied to a tree is bad, she'd probably have broken your legs after what you did to me." She sure missed her little cadet. This whole situation would have been a lot smoother if the two of them just stuck together. "Well, I've gotten all I need from you." The pink haired girl turned, taking a few steps before looking back one more time. "But a warning: you stay away from Mike, and from me. You may be a better trainer than me, but that won't last. It doesn't matter if I can never beat you in these little skirmishes, because I've got more net worth in my right pinky then you do in your entire family tree. My dad has connections, and he doesn't like it when people make his petite fille cry. " And with that, she bid the boy adieu, tossing his Pokemon behind her, not particularly caring if he could reach them or not. Sure, that last bit about her dad was somewhat exaggerated, but she felt it was a necessary little fib. Mr. Jennings had connections, but that was mostly to hotels and museums and the like. After Sasha had put some distance between her and the scumbag, she took out her bike and starting up Cycling Road, ready to get back to Hoenn to her little cadet, and start her search for a friend in need.
