I woke up this morning to 4°F, later during the day it reached a high of 17°, and now we are at a balmy 3°...
What crazy person started the population this far north? Did they not realize that if you stay farther south you do not have to have your breath taken away and your teeth feeling like they are going to shatter by the cold?
The frost is building up on the inside of the windows where the condensation has frozen. The car cries when you start it. The dogs (accept Adam) go out just as far as they have to, do their duty, and come in to lay their cold fur on you to warm up.
Why do we go threw this???

Well, it's the new year, do you make resolutions?
I never seem to hold on to mine for more than a couple weeks, so the only ones I made this year was to keep up with the good things that I am already doing in my life... that way I will not fail..

I don't even think about it any more... I have previous years' resolutions that never happened, so there's no need for more to be added to the pile. xp

Such bleak outlooks on the new year's tradition... Here's a thought... Let's have New Day's Resolutions!! Each morning you can resolve to do (or not do) ___________, and if you make it let me know and I'll treat you to some DQ!!

You know, it would be simple to get DQ out of you with this bet... just resolve to do (or not do) something that you would normally do, like brush your teeth... But I will take that DQ blaugh

Shun Azhriaz A conversation at a speed I can understand. O many thanks. These young 'uns all talk like hyperactive squirrels on helium. It's the influence of all that fancy smancy anime stuff. What's wrong with Steamboat Willie I want to know. That was Disney at his best. When that rat blew the tooty whistle thing I laughed so hard I choked on my remaining tooth. Now it's all violence and nakkid toon boobies and . . . . . . . . mmmm . . . .toon boobies . . . . *shuffles off to the video store. Forgets where he's going and is picked up by the nurses three hours later on the pier arguing with a rock about how porridge doesn't taste the same as it did when Roosevelt was running things . . . * My son loves all the anime. Most of it is boring for me, except Tenchi Muyo. I did like that series and its assorted spin-offs. That's because it was so focused on personalities and really a good sitcom. "Inuyasha" isn't bad, but I lost track of it long ago. I like tghe Ginli Studio films. too. Yeah, I like classic Disney, too. They stopped making decent animated fil;ms a long time ago. The last really copol one was "The Jungle Book" until they did "Little mermaid", "Beauty & the beast" and "Aladdin". "Lion King" would have been good if they hadn't had all the silly big production numbers. Just niot suited for that film.
