"Mm," Chef grunted, his face splitting into a grin as Serena made it to the Beaver Balance... and as quick as the grin appeared, it disappeared when she made it across.

"OI! YEW! YEW COULDN'T HIT TH' BROADSIDE OF CHRIS' RV IF IT WAS PAINTED WITH A GIANT BULLS-EYE!" He roared at the hapless gunmen, snarling. "AH EXPECT YEW TO HIT THE NEXT ONE, GOT IT? Hmph, lazy interns."

He flicked his ears back and lashed his tail, then nodded in agreement. "Yer cabin's not too shabby," he replied, tapping the clipboard he held beneath one arm. The clipboard was hard to see, given Chef's broad chest and the fact that he held it so close to keep the scores a secret. "The Gulls and Sharks aren't doin' too bad either. The former team's already had a couple perfect runs."

"Hmph, this course is child's play compared to the ones ah had to run through," Master Chief shook his head in disagreement, "Too bad the producers veto'd mah previous challenge submissions... ah well."

Chef looked at Annabell, tilting his head to one side. "Weeeell..." he trailed off, thinking. "Ah suppose yew could say that. As long as yew don't give a repeat performance of whatever yew an' Spectacles were doin' a'fore yew came into mah infirmary tent. How's that paw doin' by the w-?"

Anything else was cut off when Axl saluted him with a single finger. "C'MERE YEW MAGGOT!" He roared, chasing after Axl. Sure, he wouldn't chase him under the wires, or up the cliff.

In fact, Chef was waiting for him in front of the Gator Pit. "Yew," he growled, "Fifty push-ups. Now."

(run 2!)

Carmen trotted herself back to the starting line. The wire crawl. She stared at it. That part had been easy but was to blame for the condition of her body, or most of it. She got lucky the first time. Would she be so lucky again? Would her clothes manage to stay on her body in tact? She bit her lip and decided to give it one more try! It was the least she could do. It wasn't like it wasn't exciting.

Laughing like a maniac, Helen swung back over the pit, trying to aim a kick at the alligators as she went. It seems like the time under water caused her to snap temporarily, but it's nothing too horrible, just a lifetime hatred of alligators. Landing with a thud on the far side of the bank, Helen turned aroung and flipped the alligators off, then started off to the next challenge. Shaking her fur out, sighed. "I hope I don't go completely crazy" mumbling to herself, Helen went off to the last obstacle of her third run.

Serena sighed with relief, panting quite a bit. However, she was done and slowly made her way over to where she had seen Annabel. She smiled at her warmly before dragging herself off to the forest. She couldn't stand to hang around and didn't have the energy or patience to even address Chef. She didn't even look at him. Right now she was hurting and needed to get her back disinfected and that's all that mattered.

This time, the finger was reserved for Chef. Hopefully when the large Audio wasn't looking. Turning back toward the course, Axl chewed on his lip. Dare he do it again? He'd had dismal luck with the beavers and the log. If he took his time he might fare better though...

Oh, why not. He had nothing else to do that day, and he doubted Chef would chase him under the wires. Shrugging a bit, he crouched down and flattened himself out to go again.
It was a good thing he was so skinny, cause man, he could scoot under that wire with no problem. He decided not to celebrate this time. After all, everything had been easy before until he got to the beaver log. A once over that, and then he could celebrate.

Out of the wire, he jogged over to the cliff. Another run up that now!
Taking the same path he took before, he didn't have trouble up the cliff this time either. A steeled look of determination on his face, he headed for the gator river to swing over that--that is, until he nearly ran into Chef. ...Damn.

Looking sheepish, Axl gave Chef a wide-toothed grin. "You saw that? Damn. Can I uh.. Do them after my runs, oh great Master Chief? Pretty pretty please?"

Chef snorted. "Right, so yew can run along an' hide and pretend to have 'accidentally' forgotten all about it." It didn't sound like Chef was angry. He had spoken in a conversational tone, and seemed rather calm about it.

That is, until he leaned forward and into Axl's face and yelled at him. "YEW DROP DOWN AND GIVE ME FIFTY RIGHT NOW SOLDIER! AH DON'T CARE HOW TIRED YEW ARE OR HOW BUSY! NOW, MAGGOT, NAOW!"

Helen had been surprised at the ease she'd had completeing this course. Sure, she had managed to stay out of the pit the second time and she was hoping it would be a third as well. She really didn't want to start hating the beavers as well. Walking carefully over the logs, Helen tducked a few seagulls before deciding to crawl the rest of the way. With no great mishaps, Helen touched ground at the end, finally dfinishing her 3rd time through. Working her way back to the beginning, Helen rather reluctantly begane her thrid go through.

Damnn. Well, it was worth a shot. Axl cringed as Chef yelled in his face and dropped to the ground. "SIR YES SIR!" he yelled back, starting on his push ups.

"1.....2....."

(( Your last post on page 19 appeared to have been a post of a challenge without a roll at first glance. It was only until I looked back and read your posts carefully that I discovered that the rolls in your posts were for the next challenge, not the ones described.

Guys, please keep rolls and posts for challenges together. I should have clarified this at the start, but I wasn't expecting something like this to happen. >< Sorry. ))

Carmen was feeling pretty spiffy that she had managed to not get entirely covered in mud this time. However, she was still pretty dang dusty. Her fur had still retained some moisture from both the previous mud bath and the moisture of flying over the gators. The moisture had acted as a primer for all the dust she just crawled through.

She grimaced as she contemplated that she looked like a chocolate covered Carmen. Besides that, all her Tits were really dirty and all caked on with dirt and mud. Tsk, Tsk.. Her tattoos were something she was proud of. Hopefully, this wouldn't turn into something that took all day. She then approached the cliff again. What a b***h it was! Somehow, she was finding it somewhat enjoyable.

Chef growled, "Ah can't hear you, maggot!" And, to help Axl along, he helpfully placed his boot down on Axl's back. Nothing like a bit of pressure to help him along, right?

"Halfway nao! 25 moar to go!" He cackled, putting a bit more weight on his steel-toed boot.

(( Why are you restarting? o_O If you roll the wrong number, you reroll that obstacle only. Since Carmen hit a mine on the cliff, she just has to climb the cliff again.

You don't do the entire course over again. Please re-read the second post of this thread. ))
