Being deeply loved by someone gives you strength... Cristian took the last bite of his apple, and put the book back in his bag before standing up and throwing the core away. He looked around, and felt the warmth from the sun on his arms. He started towards the library, happy to just walk around, but also excited to know what they would be learning tomorrow. Cristian was pulled from his thoughts when he stepped on something. He picked it up, turning it around in his hand. It was some sort of package, and it looked as though it was damaged, maybe tossed around a bit? He finally found a name on it. It was addressed to a Rosto. Hmn... Cristian pondered, before sticking the package in his bag. Perhaps he could ask around the Library for this Rosto person and return his package. He continued towards the Library, and finally stepped into the building. He saw a desk with a woman sitting behind it, organizing books on a trolley of some sort. "Excuse me?" Cristian whispered. The woman looked up, looking startled for a moment, before flashing a professional smile. "How may I help you?" she asked. "I'd like to know where books on Lycan History are?" he asked. She told him what row and section. Nodding his thanks Cristian began to turn around, but looked back at the woman quickly. "Oh, do you by any chance know a man by the name of Rosto?" The woman looked thoughtful for a moment before replying "Yes, he comes in here often, usually in the religious section. He's got red hair, hard to miss really" With that she turned back to what she had been doing before. Cristian decided he would try and find Rosto later, but for now he just wanted to read. ...while loving someone deeply gives you courage.

A wise man learns from the mistakes of others...
Rosto took a breakfast of hot cereal and a muffin, accompanied with a tall glass of milk. He took his seat in the half filled dining hall. He let out a sigh as he began to eat his meal, contemplating what he would do today. He figured a walk in the forest would do him some good. The sun was warm today and the air was clear. Rosto decided he would not let the events earlier dampen his day. He finished his breakfast and put his dishes away, before going out on the grounds and out towards the gate. He stopped at the gate, thinking for a moment. Something told him he should go to the library. He tried to remember if he had a book to return but he was certain he had retuned them all already. Perhaps he had a book in mind that he wanted to check out? Rosto shrugged and turned around. If something wanted him to go to the library, why refuse? He made his way to the library, stuffing his hands in his pockets.
He walked through the familiar doors of the library and let the smell of books, old and new, waft to him. He nodded to the librarian and smiled. She looked at him, the said, “Ah, Rosto, someone was looking for you.” Rosto’s heart sped up,
“W-who?” he was afraid the boys from before had not had enough fun with him yet.
“Oh, a new boy, he went that way.” She pointed in a direction and Rosto reluctantly followed her finger.
...a fool by his own.

Being deeply loved by someone gives you strength... Cristian walked deper into the library, marveling at its sheer size. Even back home there was a library they would visit in the city, one of the biggest in the country, but it was a bathroom book collection in comparison to this place. He looked around at the old, but very clean, wooden shelves. Some books were dog eared and others looked brand new. He even saw at the end of one isle a bunch of scrolls. He wondered when the last time people used scrolls had been. Finally he found the section the woman at the front had specified, and began scanning the shelves.
He walked towards a set of tables, arms heavy with book, and set them down. He took a seat and grabbed a dog-eared paperback off the top of the pile. 'A complete lycan history' circa 1912. Cristian was happy to have such a recent copy, and began to flip though it. ...wile loving someone deeply gives you courage.

Rosto could not help but be relaxed inside such a calm place. He did wonder why a new student was looking for him, but was not as reluctant now that he knew it was not his personal demons. He wandered through the shelves, taking his time. After all, he had no obligation to this mysterious person. His polite disposition however, refused to let him ignore the invitation. He searched the rows of shelves, stopping from time to time to pull out an interesting looking book, but always continuing after a few moments. The library was seemingly empty, save for a few early risers. The section he had been pointed to seemed to be deserted. He finally found someone flipping through a book that had to do with the history of lycanthropy. Rosto cleared his throat and took a deep breath before addressing the young man. "Um... E-excuse me, are you the one looking for me?"
...a fool by his own.

Tika woke up with the sun arm on his face. The dinner the night before was wonderful, although e would have like it better if it had been only he and Emily. He did not feel too disappointed though, because he had the chance to give a new student some valuable information. He sat up in bed and stretched, letting the blankets fall around his waist, revealing his smooth bare chest. He looked out the window and watched the sparkles of the sun glinting off the dew on the grass. Getting out of bed, Tika decided to finish the painting he had been working on for the past week. It was of Emily, an image he had seen whilst walking to his room a week before. The sun was setting and the wind had been quite strong that evening.
On the canvas, he had recreated that moment in his own vision. Instead of the great stone wall that had been in view behind her, he put the lake he so often visited. Her hair was blowing in the wind, orange and red leaves following in its direction, perfectly complementing her hair. The only thing left to do was her eyes. He had saved those for last, because he wanted to make those perfect. He had spent much of the dinner last night looking at Miss Emily’s eyes, and he hoped she had not noticed too much. Now that they were fresh in his mind, he got out his paints and began to finish his painting.

Being deeply loved by someone gives you strength...Cristian scanned the first few pages of the book, seeing Lycan ties to major history as he was taught. Everything from the fall of Rome to the Revolutionary war seemed to have ties to Lycans in one way or another. He was reading a particularly interesting note involving the Egyptian God Anubis when a noise from behind him pulled him from his thoughts. He looked behind him, and saw a red haired boy standing there, a nervous look on his freckled face. Making the connection he stood up. "You must be Rosto" he said, reaching into his bag and pulling the rumpled package out. "My names Cristian" ...While loving someone deeply gives you courage.

Rosto was surprised to see his package, and from a total stranger too! "Oh thank you!" He said, taking the tattered package gently from Cristian's hand. He nestled the box under his arm and shook the man's hand. "I thought for sure they would have dissected it." He smiled and looked at the title of Cristian's book more closely. "So you are new here and want to learn more about yourself right? Have you gotten your classes yet?" ...a fool by his own.

Nukpana "Lynette'' Onatah A wise man once told me, 'A wolf's eyes are mirrors to one's soul.'_______________________________________________________________________________ Once Nukpana left her room she found herself wondering to the cafeteria to pick up something to put on her stomach since she wasn't to sure if she'd eat lunch or not. She picked up a short stack of pancakes with an orange juice and reluctantly glanced around the more empty benches, not many people were yet out of bed at this time even though the sun was out. 'Maybe it's just the way the sun hits my window. A very tiny sigh escaped her mouth, one she wouldn't have known she had done if it hadn't rung in her ears continuously. She sat at a table closer to the door so she could just dash away when she was done, she couldn't seem to shake her old habits of just making a dash right after things. She sat at the table and slowly ate her breakfast, prolonging it by chewing so slow. She had no clue why she was doing it but the food did taste a lot better when she chewed normal speed. Her fingers tapped a beat on the table as she studied the detail of the room, she was in awe everything here just seemed to be so awe-inspiring. Nukpana then stood up, cleaned up her little area so that it was just as tidy as it was when she first sat down and left the building.
She found a nice shady spot underneath a tree that still had warmth to it and sat down, she took her bag off and pulled out a small sketch pad one she carried with her almost everywhere in case a sudden spark of genius came to her. She only looked for a few moments around the campus and began to draw that the sun began to blaze a little hotter as time went by. She placed her back against the tree and started to pull her fingers through her hair before she began to braid it.
_______________________________________________________________________________ Yet he didn't know he was staring into the eyes of one at that moment, hopefully he liked what he saw.

Tika was satisfied. He had spent the whole of the morning finishing his painting and now that he was done, he took a step back to look it over. After a nod, he stuck his paintbrush in his hair, held up by the top of his ear, and went to wash his hands. Once he had straitened himself up a bit, he exited his room wearing a loose silk, button up shirt with the top few buttons undone to show his smooth chest. His pants were brown leather breeches tucked into tall, black and shiny boots. Just for a touch of color, he added a burgundy sash around his waist. His jet hair, as always, was pulled back into his signature braid, his unruly bangs falling over is amber eyes.
Briskly, Tika took a stroll out on the grounds, seeing the students, fresh from the nights sleep. He nodded and greeted those he knew and smiled at the few he did not. He spotted a student sitting under a tree, braiding her hair. Tika smiled and greeted her with “Good Morning.” before continuing on his way. He stopped by the café and took up an apple, shinning it on his sleeve and took a bite. Supreme taste! Please with himself for being awake at such a glorious time of day, Tika continued his stroll, humming a tune between bites of the juicy apple.

Being loved deeply gives you strength... Cristian returned the hand shake. He raised his eyebrows at the dissection comment, and wondered who 'they' were. He nodded at Rosto's observation that he was a new student, and that he wanted to learn more about himself. When asked about classes, he shook his head. "I haven't, no...Do you know what classes are available?" he asked. ...while loving someone deeply gives you courage

A letter was delivered to each room this morning. You will find it in your room. The exact time or way it was delivered is unknown to all but Alistair. The letter reads as such:
To whom it may concern, Allow me to take this time to congratulate first year students on arriving here in one piece, and to returning students for returning to the Academy.
It is time for you all to choose courses for the coming year, dorms to reside in, and to get to know each other a little more intimately. Please note that this event is mandatory attendance for first years, if you do not attend, consider yourself expelled. The event will be held in the forum, as soon as sunset begins. Long tables will flank the forum and grassy area with professors and books present. The table at the head is registration, the left is classes and the right is living arrangements. Do not bring any personal effects and wear comfortable clothing.
I will be giving an address at the event after registration is complete.
In the meantime, enjoy this Sunday, explore the campus and surrounding area, and begin deciding on classes and rooms.
May the Moon light your path, Headmaster
