((I think I'm going to start a 3rd person in this RP, since a couple people stopped posting. =D))
Verin shifted and muttered in his sleep, not noticing the stone's weight disappearing from his pocket. Nor did he notice any light or shadows in his room. He sighed in his sleep, his good dream to be forgotten when he woke up.
Elistral's eyelids drooped as she continued to watch the people. She'd just started to think of laying down when the fountain's water splashed over her head, waking her up. Looking up, she saw a crow staring at her from on top of the fountain's statue. It flew off with a squawk, winging it's way past the town to a waiting hand. Elistral shrugged and turned back to watching the townspeople.

((Create some random person, it'll make it interesting! =3))
The bird cawed angrily at the one who'd called it. The man who had sat down at the fountain had interrupted it's retrieval of the coins in the water, and the bird wanted revenge. "Not yet, little one. You'll be paid back in full later." The speaker wore a priest-like ensemble, and looked like he belonged in a church rather than the small cave outside of the town. Crow turned slightly and looked at the hidden door at the back of the cave, thinking of returning back inside the Ravager's base, a complex series of dark tunnels lit by torches underneath the earth. He had authority over the others, being second-in-command, but didn't feel as happy as he thought he'd be. In fact, he was a little sad at the disappearance of the leader, Mal. Calling out his name, he hoped that he'd appear to atleast explain what had happened that night.
Elistral stood up and walked over to the tavern from the night before, taking her seat by the fireplace, noticing that the townsfolk were fine by themselves. Besides the slowed activity of the Ravagers, and the death of Mal, peace had returned to Salim momentarily. She rested her head against the wooden mantel, beginning to doze lightly.

Crow gave a slight bow at the mention of his name, not surprised that someone had appeared out of thin air. The bird on his hand hopped to his shoulder, and gave a mock bow. He straightened up and went said flatly. "And I, him. I no longer sense Mal's presence, would you care to explain what happened to me?"

"Mal has gone to a more secretive area as he recovers from his battle with Azeois, his brother, or Strider as he perfers to be called. Also Mal sends orders to destroy whats left of the city and kill all inhabitants." -The man looks at the town- "Oh and I am Rorak, Mal's attendant and trusted messanger."

Crow nodded and followed Rorak's gaze over to Salim. "So that was the commotion, and the storm clouds." He muttered to himself. The bird on his shoulder did a little jump and gave a squawk. Gesturing towards the town with his head, he told it to fly back. It took off and glided in the direction of the buildings. Crow clasped his hands behind his back, speaking aloud and giving no hints at emotion. "Very well, Rorak. Tell him that this town will fall before noon arrives. Flames will devour everything, including the men, women, and children."

"Very well." -Rorak bowed and dissappeared. He reappeared inside the throne room of a dark castle. In the throne sat Mal with missing parts. As Rorak stood there a white light appeared and became Mal's right arm and leg makeing him whole again. He looked at Rorak- Mal: "What news from Crow?" Rorak: "He says that the town shall fall by the afternoon and the city shall be engulfed in flames including the men, women, and children." Mal: "Very good. In the mean time I shall be in my study searching for a certain spell." Rorak: "As you wish my lord." -Rorak bowed and dissappeared-

((Darn, now how am I supposed to set the town on fire? Maybe oil, but then I have to play a Elistral too. --_--))
Crow turned his back on Salim, walking into the cave and opening the wooden door to the Ravager's base. He followed a tunnel to the wide area that served as a "meeting place" for all the Ravagers. He stopped in the middle of the room, and people from the sides of the cave watched him interestedly through the dim lit of torches. He waited until silence fell about them, all eyes turned towards the second-in-command, before speaking. "We have new orders. The town of Salim is to fall before noon, fire will devour everything." One Ravager spoke up angrily. "But it's daytime, we only act at night, you know that." Crow glanced him, stopping any other doubts about to be voiced. "Ignore that, this will be during broad daylight. Including the killing of the townspeople.
Elistral slowly drifted off to sleep, at peace in the small tavern. A happy dream came to her, one she'd had a few times. A calm blue lake glinted in the sun, nestled in a wide valley. Cool breezes swept through the tall grasses, taking away the summer heat. Fish swam beneath the water's surface, edging closer to a fishing pole's lure before darting away. She smiled in her sleep, only to be woken up later by the town's bell tolling at 10 a.m.

-Suddenly Strider was sitting at the bar with a drink- "You know he won't leave you alone right?" -Strider swishes his drink around in his glass-

Elistral glanced over at the bar and saw Strider. She rubbed her eyes sleepily and rested her head on the fireplace beside her. "Who won't?" she asked.

"Mal. He won't just let you and your people go without punishment." -Strider took a drink- "You must be prepared. The Ravagers will come swift and fast and won't wait for the light to fade. You must act. Now wake up." -Then Strider dissappeared as if he wasn't ever there and he wasn't because it was just a dream-

Elistral blinked her eyes open, glancing around the tavern. She sighed to herself and stood up, stretching her tired body. Her mind had been in the clouds lately, dreams, the past, everything. Placing a hand on her forehead, a bird caught her eye. It was sitting on the window, outside the tavern. It cawed at her, then flew off. Shrugging, she put a hand on her sword's hilt. She thought that it might see action today, but not at night this time.
Crow oversaw the Ravager's work. All the preparations were being made, now all that needed to be done was attack. He called a few of the Ravagers by his side and headed back up out of the cave. The town was just how he saw it last, and it wouldn't stay that way for long he though. The darkness seemed to frighten the townspeople, and this was daytime. That wasn't much of a problem. Crow gestured with a hand and let out a whistle. The crow from before was settled in a tree, and more flew out from the sky and forest to watch the group that had come out. It didn't take long until the surrounding trees and rocks were completely covered by them, making the Ravagers uneasy. He just smiled and called something out in a different, raspy, language, then a shrill whistle. The birds all took off at once up into the sky. An artificial darkness would mask the Ravagers' work, Crow thought as the group behind him went unbidden to get the others. Mask it before Salim even knew the danger.

((ok i can't wait any longer and im not waiting for the second end of the world to end for it....Im going to start accepting skelies for The End of the World 3: The Final End!....I just can't wait any longer T-T)) -Mal was standing in the center of a large circle with six other smaller circles inside that had symbols etched into them- "Now I summon those who strike fear into the hearts of all those good.." -The circle began to glow- "Now I call upon the enimies of all the world. I call upon Marie the Demon Queen!" -Then Marie was there in the first circle- "I call upon Enta!" -Enta appeared- "I call upon The Dark One!" -The Dark One appeared- "I call upon the Lord of Pheonixs" -He was there- "I call upon George!" -George appeared- "Lastly I call upon Reaper!" -Reaper appeared. All the people looked around to see what was going on. A few even drew weapons on each other. Then Mal broke the silence- "Welcome enimies of Strider. I've heard so much about you all but never had a chance to meet you." Reaper: "Ok who are you and what do you want with me and these others?" Mal: "The same as you. The death of Strider." Marie: "We tried but he just won't die." Enta: "Yeah we stabbed him through the heart too." Mal: "He didn't die because he isn't mortal. You see what you all never understood is that Strider isn't like the rst of you. He is immortal. Yes you can kill him but he won't stay dead because he has been lucky and had help from his freinds. Now its our turn to have freinds. This time we will win." George: "How do we know we can trust you?" Mal: "Well the way I see it if you didn't trust me i'd have to kill all of you." The Dark One: "Ha! You kill me? Thats a laugh." Mal: "Want to test that theory?" The Dark One: "Oh yes. Killing you will be fun." -He charged but Mal dissapeared and reappeared behind him and slamed him against the opposite wall- Mal: "Do you all trust me now?" -At the moment everyone nodded- "Good. Then you shall all follow me." -He walked towards the door-

((Whoooo! It''l take a while for me to send my skelies though. I know what you mean. Gaaah, I want to bring Kaizen into this so bad now! But I already have other charries... I'll just place him in CoL, that'll work.))
A couple of townspeople now crowded around the windows of the bar, looking out. Elistral heard one of them speak, "Looks like there's gonna be another storm today. It's already dark outside." Interested, she went over to a free window and looked out. A dim twilight had fallen upon Salim, and people were pointing up at the sky curiously. She walked outside of the tavern, following their gazes upward.
Within a few minutes span, the birds had almost completely blocked the sky. All of the Ravagers had now came out, holding unlit torches and buckets of heated oil in their hands. Crow took pride in his work, the town wouldn't be the same after this. Not that it wouldn't be the same after the night before. He signaled with a hand and the Ravagers followed his lead down the hill, ready to get on with the fight.
Verin slept unaware, tossing and turning.
