Streak nodded. He then looked to the woman with the Guard. Streak then sheathed his weapon. He wasn't sure what to think, there was a huge gap in his life. Everything seemed to strange. He could hear screaming and battle cries everywhere. He recognised the forest to be Talnea Forest. He waited for the woman to speak as he did not know how to greet her.

((Hey, waddia know? I got off quicker than I thought...))

Amber paused for a moment after the woman disappeared in a blur of shadow and turned to the man she had accompanied. He did not seem to pose a threat but she kept he guard as he was the one who had slain the soldiers lying about them.
She took another second to look him over before speaking. His entire body was wrapped in the same unnatural shadow that the Celtarie summoned.
"What is your name?" Amber stared with, not knowing either the woman or this man. They seemed to know each other and neither seemed to pose a threat, but that did not mean that she should not be cautious.

((Flashstorm, could you please remake that post so I can respond to it? Keep in mind the dynamics of how the clearing is set up. Guards, weapons, kill on command... Just a thought...))

Amber nodded at the man- Streak, and replied.
"My name is Amber Mercadis, I am the royal emissary of Keirdon, princess and heir to the throne." She said rather casually, yet retaining an air of pleasantry to it. She glanced over to her captain, who motioned towards the refugees streaming from the doomed city.
He leaned close and whispered into her ear. "If the Larovian forces are as merciless as with the pillaging of the city, I would expect them to chase the routed Anierian after securing the remnants of the city."
"When would you estimate that happening?" Amber responded, taking into account her captain's history. Although his job was more ceremonial than actual military service, he had astounding experience with both combat and strategy. His current position was both an honor and reward for his dedicated service to Keirdon.
"I would say six hours, giving them a moment of rest and the time to take count of their loses. Two if they are determined to hunt them down."
Amber returned her gaze to Streak, he face set and grim. "We are planning on mobilizing the surviving populace and heading for the Ruins of Terradova, then to link with a force from Keirdon for escort to a safer location."

(But, are the forces not located within the city gates? Thus, it is relatively safe, at the moment, to enter into a clearing? I mean, we will only be there for the equivlant for a few minutes.

And, I dont think I could reword it in a way so that you can directly respond, as I havn't actually met your character yet, and thus doesnt exist to me)

(((Are you talking to Issildia then, for she is no longer with a group and is now out on the ice moving towards Anier, to see if any others survived, and to see to it that your character along with Zigren's make it out alive. Though Issildia is indeed attempting to pursue Aronoth, she has yet to reach him.
But if you are indeed refering to Issildia then I will post as such to resolve things. 3nodding )))
