as Apollo grabbed the snake from tony it began to turn to ashes, starting from where Apollo had grabbed it and spreading from there. the tail end fell to the ground and wriggled as it disintegrated, adn Apollo said "the deed is done, this snake will trouble you no further. now ,my son, it is time that i reveal the next part of your journey to you. blayd had been frowning after the way Apollo had talked about the temple, but the prospect of doing something big for his father made him forget that. he said "father, Athena said that you would tell us this, but i still cannot figure out what i and my friends could possibly do for you that you cannot do for yourself" to which Apollo replied "i wish it were that simple my son, but the enemy you face, as you now know, is the goddess of discord. we gods have beickered needlessly for too long, and are too susceptible to her powers. only a mortal, with the proper equipment, can defeat her"

Pandora raised an eyebrow. Goddess of Discord? Yep it was a good thing she chose to stay for a while. She loved mishceif but even she knew that it wasn't good that the goddess of Discord was getting so powerful.

"Cool," Tony said. He was excited about getting some new equipment. Eris is up to something, I bet she's just doing it for fun like she did when she wasn't invited to that wedding with the apple. Tony thought, it always bugged him when people with power used it to hurt people.

Apollo replied Blayd, pandora, together you must return to the city and find a place with many business', salons and barbershops mostly, and from there you will be able to find your own way. to the rest of you, go forth to sparta, the home of great warriors, you must seek the mantle of Heracles, which has been passed down through generations of spartan warriors"

Pandora bowed politely to Apollo. She then turned to Blayd. " I'll go get Sage ready for traveling Blayd. Will you be riding on Sage or flying?"

Tony wanted to check out how his gift from Apollo worked and looked at the sun and saw the fiery chariot ridden by Helios, "Thank you Mr. Apollo." He said to the god of the Sun who he now could look at without squinting.
"What would you want the rest of us do?" Tony asked.

"as i said" replied apollo "make your way to sparta, where you will find someone who carries with them the hide of the nemean lion, which no weapon can pierce. you must persuade that person to give it to you. you will be brought back together afterwards, i assure you" he finished "i'll be riding with you pandora"said blayd bela has a car and can surf through the air with rocks, but tony is still stuck in the backseat of a vehicle. i will lend him these sandals for flight." at that he removed his sandals and replaced them with his shoes, then handed them to tony "are you ready pandora?" asked blayd

I can't believe that I just met Apollo, he seems nice. I wish we could have met Artemis too though
Archie seems to have come down from his sugar buzz. "Oh, my head." He plops down and falls to sleep so Calli picks him up.

"Good idea," Calli said picking up Archie and getting into Bella's car. "I wonder how we'll get someone to give over dad's lion skin if it's that powerful." She petted Archie and looked at the other people around.

"wait calli!" said blayd as he ran up to bella's car "i gave tony something, and i want to give you something to" he handed calli the bag of hydra teeth "sorry pandora. NOW i'm ready." he got on sage and prepared to leave

Theres are the hydra's teeth Blayd collected before we went to Athena's temple. I wonder what they'll do. Calli thought before going into Bellatrix's car.

As the heroes started a new quest the Goddess of Chaos watched them from afar.
She was gorgeous, dressed in a black and red dress and had a black vine tattoo around her arm with a red heart beneath the vines. She had long ebony hair and red lips. Her blue eyes gleamed with satisfaction at her plan.
“Ah, a group of heroes given a task by gods,” She laughed. “Now that hasn’t happened in a while,” She smiled her white teeth contrasting greatly with her bright red lips.
“Just when I was beginning to think the mortal world was getting to be dull.” She pondered the many things she would do to them. “Let’s see…” She took a look at each hero.
She looked at Blayd, “Hmm, son of Athena and Apollo.” She twirled a strand of her ebony hair around her finger, “That could be entertaining. It's not everyday a hero has immortal parentage on both sides.”
“And look a mortal,” She said spotting Bellatrix. “Now that is interesting.” She sees the car and gets all sorts of ideas of how to add chaos.
She looked at Pandora, “Hello, an immortal.” She thought about how Pandora reminded her of someone... then it came to her, “Ah, that's curious girl who let my children into the world, maybe I should thank her... in my own unique way that is.” She laughed. “Ah Pandora I nearly feel like I owe her after all my job would be dullsville without the miseries.”
She looked at Tony, “Hmm... son of Heracles, not so bad I’ll think of something special for him... Though noticing the job he did on Polly’s temple after a little sugar, he might not need much help getting messed with.”
“That girl seems quite chaotic and mysterious as it is. That could be quite amusing I’ll have to look out for her.” She said regarding Kros.
She then stood up and said, “I think it’s time to put a little strife in their life.”

“Thanks Blayd.” Tony said taking the winged sandals.
Tony tried on the sandals, “Hmm... comfy. Let’s see how to activate these..." Before he could attempt he started to get air born and was attempting not to fall too much to either side. eek “Whoa, this is kinda fun” He felt like a bird but was a little worried about the weight but the sandals seemed to support it. I hope getting down is as easy as it is getting up.

"Dude," Kros guffawed, "THAT was AWESOME!!!"
Ral was trembling.
"That...was..." she hissed.
"You okay, Ral?" Kros asked, nervous.
"It hurts..."
"Ral?" Tears stung Kros's eyes. She hadn't cried in years.
Ral's voice dwindled, "She calls to me..."
"Who? What? Why?"
"The goddess..."
Ral's heartbeat was slowing.
"Ral, don't die on me!!"
"My spirit...a part...of...you...do not...trust goddess..."
"What are you telling me?"
Ral's heartbeat stopped.
