"I guess none... You have your pride. I have mine." She said as she heard a crashing sound from the throne room. "barbarians... I do say we should leave. Do you fallow? Of course..." She pulled her hood over her head. "There's still the back exit from who knows how many years ago. C'Mon..." She covered her nose for a second. When Sila mentioned the smell, Isil found it was true,

Gordo aimlessly tossed a fragmented piece of table at Wormtongue, who was again pathetically rambling on. It didn't make sense and he was getting mighty tired of it; he and Elrothiel had been trapped in the Golden Hall for two days. Char had been carried off to Dwallin knows where, the stranger he had encountered in the back room had apparently vanished and all the doors had been fortified with some sort of magic. They couldn't even escape the way they had entered. Someone didn't want them to learn what lay beyond those back doors or leave with the knowledge they'd already attained. Then Grima hissed something that caught Gordo's ear.

You'll never escape. Those magical glyphs are disolved only by a command word, and I know not what it is.

Giving up, Elrothiel hurled the shattered end of the table leg against the wall and slumped onto the floor. Her frustration was ebbing away but the hopelessness of their situation was making her irritable and Wormtongue was just annoying. "Hold your tongue." she said to him, "or I'll cut it out." Her eyes were cold and hard and she meant it.

Sila took pulled her hood up, and sighed when she heard the crashes. "They certainly are bararians... But..." She smiled as she also pulled up the cowle that was connected to her hood. It wasn't much but at least it did something to mask the smell. "They can be fun to tease. And they know so little about others at times that they can be... someowhat midly amusing."

"Wild animals are just as amusing, if you ask me." She mummbled and smirked at the comment. " She came to the room she had entered through, opened the door and then unlocked the door that lead from inside to outside the wall. "After you... I have to lock it from the inside."

((Where are the two of you? Are Gordo and Elrothiel the "Barbarians" you keep mentioning or are you actually watching a gang of them approach... which would be a nicely fitting occurance if the way I'm gathering the story is correct. So, Saruman's got his eyes on everything going on here. Once Elrothiel, Aldonar and Gordo took out the guards and captured Wormtongue, he arranged these magical barriers to keep us trapped inside, awaiting a horde of barbarians (his wildmen soldiers, an age-long enemy of Rohan) to come and finish us off before we escaped with the knowledge of the corrupted Golden Hall... then again, if you two aren't even in the same place as us, that might not work...))

Gordo sat up suddenly and glanced at Elrothiel. "He just may have use for that forked tongue yet. You said the White Wizard has betrayed us? I have dealt with many fancy, magical locks in my days in the chimneys of the white mountains and I've come across some much like these. They're the spittin' image of the door to a Balrog cage. No mage of mortal bone and blood could conjure such a thing... but a Maiar..." His eyes lit up when he touched his stubby finger to the blue gemstone set in his helm, listening for it to reveal the magic surounding the area. He quickly withdrew his finger and tore his helm from his bald head before yielding to a heavy grown. Activating his Arcane Whisper revealed more than he expected and almost more than he could take. "He's watching us," the dwarf said through a stiff jaw. "Rohan plays host to Saruman's abominal gaze..." He gripped his urgosh and gathered his helm, arranging the entire message sent by his magical gem. "...He's here." He sent a sharp look towards Grima.

((I think they're referring to us trashing the place.))
Elrothiel stood up. "What?" she asked, puzzled. "He's here? In person? Or - do you mean Wormtongue?" she asked, looking at him, taking in his comment about his tongue. "He's watching us now? Through that?" she looked at Wormtongue disgusted. "Of all the creeps..." she muttered darkly, "traitorous snake. There's nothing worse than someone who betrays their country." she turned her back on him and looked at Gordo, "When you said you'd seen something almost identical... can you get us out of here?"

((I was out of the Golden Hall before you said anything of the barriers. My partner ran into me in the hallway. We're using a door leading underground to pass the walls. And yes, Afterdark, we were calling you two the barbarians for trashing the place.))
((Everything clear now???))

((Yeah, that's fine. I think things might be a little clearer if someone would do a little posting as Saruman. Only for what is needed. If I'm right about this, I believe only moderators are able to post as the villians but I don't even know if there are any role-playing at the moment. If not, I'll volunteer if everyone else is okay with that.))

Gordo looked back at the elf. "Not in person, but Saruman's presence lingers none-the-less." He clenched his large fists, "I knew the Horse King was in league with the White Wizard." He noticed Grima's worried expression before turning to face the glyph before the heavy iron door that Aldonar was taken through. "These doors won't yield to any of our weapons. They have to be dispelled with the propper command word, unless, you know, they're oppened from the inside which is of course more than imposs..." Before he could finish, the door lurched open and a squalid and scraggly Char stumbled through, inadvertently dispelling the glyph. However, the locks on the entrance door, the side chambers and the main corridor still remained active.

Sila shrugged and went througt the door. "But then again wild animals can make plans and plot behind others backs. Nor can they be lead with questions." She waited for her freind to join her. "Besides, they can talk with you... if you get really really desperat to talk to someone."

Isil nodded and closed the door leaving her and Sila in almost pure darkness. A small torcch ahead gave off a small flicker of light. She held the lock of the door and clasped it firmly. No one else could get through from the outside and only Isil had the kep. "Alright.. One we go. Watch your step. I wouldn't be suprised if there's some sort of courpse along the way."
