He slowed down to a walk, looking around it was nothing but grass as far as he could see save the island which was barely visible in the haze of the sky. "You okay Ailes, and considering how open this ground is getting lost will be easy." Jezabelle didn't move her head; "You can take me all the way there? I have nothing to leave a note on for Toole and Ailes, they would get worried if i didn't tell them I was going back, and they would be upset when they found out. I wouldn't want to be yelled at for making them worry."

(do to popular vote, we'll say toole failed to land <<, and hopefully this works out.)
Toole smiled watching his shadow pass over the ground. "This grassland seems to extend everwhere, only to be broken by small groves of trees, and its a truly beautiful sight." Toole began a soft slow turn; "You want to take over for a little bit, try out flying for a bit, its onlly fair since you you taught me something new."

Toole turned his head slightly his one eye at the corner of his vision peaked at her. "Ailes, I would not have asked if I wasn't prepared to teach you first. I will monitor and correct any mistakes you make before they threaten either one of us. So what do you say Ailes care to trade in your shoes for set of wings?"

she shuttered and clung tighter to Toole, "i don't think i'm quite ready yet... sorry love..." she began to tighten every muscle in her body and then just stayed there curled up in a ball of tenseness clinging to Toole.

Toole noticed some mountains and turned for them; "Alright Ailes, when your ready let me know, we have plenty of time to learn, but what's wrong. i can feel something is up by the way my scales are being pulled. Do you want me to land for a few minutes?" Toole glided for a few minutes so there was no jerking or heavy whooshing sounds coming from his wings to interfere with Ailes speaking.

She jumped up quickly releasing her tension and accidentally let go of her grasp. in a few seconds she was free falling, and she had no way to stop it. she tried to scream, but the air quickly stifled her cries.

As Guen left, Artemis still seemed to be in a daze and Sinis stood there trying to find something to do. He eventually decided that it would be best to get some rest. He returned to the fire and sat down on the floor with his head against the wall.

Toole's body reacted quickly, his first move was to sweep his wings back and dive, the second was to make the slow turn to bring Ailes in the front of his vision.
Ailes was out of his conventional means of rescue. His body was just to large and had too much resistance and to magically increase his speed now would leave them with not enough altitude to escape plowing into the earth at a fatal velocity.
Toole closed his eyes focusing on just above Ailes tumbling body. The illusion of himself manifested there, and timing the rate of her tumbe he made grab that caught her in a cradle of talons and fingers. The illusion began to back out of the dive which gave the chance for the real Toole pursuing to catch up. Everything leveled out and Toole moved off to fly lazy circles until he could direct his illusion to land.
Once near the ground the Illusion set ailes on the ground at a hover, before the next hair wipping downsweep came the illusion vanished. Toole landed 20 minutes later, he wasted no time putting his amulet on, and pinning Ailes in a hug.
"Everything is fine now, we are on the ground, no more falling, I gotcha right here, and won't let go."

Ailes was paler than usual and couldn't control her shaking. when Toole scooped her up in his arms she laid their lifelessly as tears streamed down her face. She managed to lift her head just enough to look him in the eyes and whisper, "I-I'm....s-so...S-sor-rry."

Night- Terror As Guen left, Artemis still seemed to be in a daze and Sinis stood there trying to find something to do. He eventually decided that it would be best to get some rest. He returned to the fire and sat down on the floor with his head against the wall. About twenty minutes later Guen arrived with a large supreme pizza. she set it on the coffee table in the living room and draped a blanket over Sinis. she then picked the pizza back up and walked into the kitchen where she brought out a plate for Artemis and her, "Still hungry?"

Toole shook his head; "What is more important then blame right now is the fact we are both safe." Toole kissed her forehead and rocked her gently in his arms. When she still continued to shiver Toole removed his outer robe and wrapped her in it.

Ailes laid her head on his chest and cried; though the sound of his heartbeat was calming she couldn't stop herself from crying. though mentally she was killing herself. she hated making mistakes, because her sister was always so perfect. she wanted to be like her so bad, but she always messed up, and now is just the same. she messed up, and almost killed both Toole and herself. Her legs gave out and she slid to the ground holding her head and sobbing; the thoughts wouldn't go away. she told herself that she was hopeless, and that she couldn't do anything right. she thought that maybe if she just maybe if she just would've listened to Toole and tried piloting she would have been fine. Just as she got to the point where she couldn't take it much longer she stopped, Toole's right behind me and i'm acting this weak... why would he ever want to date a weakling like me... if i want to be with him why am i acting like such a baby... damnit... i can't do anything right.she stood up and brushed herself off, wiped her tears and looked up at him with a smile, "Sorry for that... i don't really know what just happened. i'm fine now... where do you want to go?"
