Axius took a few steps away he was about five feet away from the girl. "Whats your name mine is Axius." As he spoke he took his usual pose. His sword was still in its sheath and he held it in his left hand to his side. He spread his legs to get good footing and kept his right arm relaxed for quick smooth reactions.

ˉˉˉˉˉˉˉˉˉˉˉˉˉˉˉˉ˚ Evie stared at him. "I'm Evie," she said in a melancholy tone. The fight had barely started, and Evie had already because quiet and withdrawn, different from her usual loud and exagerrating self. She brought her Zanpacto out in front of her, gripping it tightly with both hands. She waited for Axius to go first.

Axius pushed hard off his front foot and took off running at Evie. With a quick wave of his right hand he drew his sword with as much speed as he could the would make his swing faster and stronger than normal being a quick draw attack.

ˉˉˉˉˉˉˉˉˉˉˉˉˉˉˉˉ˚ With a grim smile, she ducked under the slash. Since he had made such a wide swing, it was easy to avoid. The sword whipped over her hair as she leaned down. Seeing Axius's legs, she decided the best course of action would be to grab it and yank it off the ground. She reached to grab the leg in front. The goal was to trip him, similar to what she did to Zenny.

Axius let the swing of his sword take him even though he missed his attack. His momentum kept him spinning. When she ducked he fallowed up with a lower strike from his sheath coming next aming for her face.

ˉˉˉˉˉˉˉˉˉˉˉˉˉˉˉˉ˚ Seeing the sword aiming at her face, Evie pulled back and concentrated on a bit of reiatsu in front of her. "Seki!" she yelled. It was a simple bakudo she had mastered at the Academy that didn't require that much energy, unlike the more advanced version, Enkosen. A small bubble appeared in front of the sword that deflected and paralyzed any oncoming attack. She smiled, it was going to be hard to evade that.

Axius had kept his eye one her and say her use her kido. He wasn't as good at kido as most but he had mastered a few that being one. he used the foot that was planted and jumed a few feet away from her. He quickly resheathed his sword and pointed his right finger at the bubble. Hado four.... Byakurai." There was a small spark as Axius pushed his reishei into his index finger and then a flash of lightning launched at her aim more for the bubble in an attempt to do les damage to her. Axius hated to use kido but he would have to rethink his mindset since he was in sqaud one and knew he had to utalize all his skill to rise in the ranks.

ˉˉˉˉˉˉˉˉˉˉˉˉˉˉˉˉ˚ Evie gave a sigh. Seriously, this guy doesn't know anything about Kido, she thought. All the lightning did was deflect off the bubble and aim right back at Axius. She felt superior to him, because she probably was in Kido. Charging her reishi to her index finger, she called out "Shitotsu Sansen!" Evie quickly drew a triangle in the air. The corners started glowing and 3 blades flew out, aiming to bind Axius's arms and legs to the nearby wall.

Axius didn't know how to use kido well so his attack getting deflected wasn't a suprise. Axius didn't expect the next Kido though it came to a suprise to him. Reacting purely on instinct he grabbed the hilt of his sword and swung it straight form his seath and with some extra froce he managed to slice through it then with a quick twist of his wrist he slice the it one extra time to be sure.

ˉˉˉˉˉˉˉˉˉˉˉˉˉˉˉˉ˚ While Axius sliced through her Kido, Evie grabbed her sword in her right arm tightly. Within seconds, her hand ignited again as she called out, "Tsuzuri Raiden!" Lightning wrapped around her Zanpacto so that the next time anyone tries to hit her, they'll receive a shock. Evie raced towards Axius and swung her sword horizantally. If he tried to block this, the lightning will move into his sword and shock him.

Axius tired to keep his distant not wanting to get close to her.He quickly Sheathed his sword as he often did and held it in his left hand. "I hate kido." As she swung he started to mutter a chant to make his kido stronger. "Disintigrate, you black dog of Rondanini!" Axius tunred facing his back to her sword and back fliped over it. "Look upon your self with horror!" He landed then held up his right hand facing his palm to her. "And then claw out your own throat!" He forced his reishei into his hand hand yelled. "Bakudo nine Geki!!!" A red light would engulf Evie and completely paralyze her.

ˉˉˉˉˉˉˉˉˉˉˉˉˉˉˉˉ˚ The second Axius had begun his incantation, Evie already predicted the Bakudo he woud use. That was the bad thing about incantations. Well, there were two bakudos that began the same way, Horin and Geki, but it was still an advantage for her. She spread out her reishi in front of her and they begun to collide and merge with each other. This required a lot of reishi and concentration, and Evie wasn't sure how many times she can use Kido after this. "Enkosen!" she called out in a strained voice. A glowing sheid appeared in front of her and the Bakudo deflected off of it easily. She kept the sheild up in front of her, and held out her sword diagonally across her, ready for another attack.

Axius became fusterated he was throwing everything he had at her. He was even using Kido which he hated with an overwelming passion. He decided this had to be the end he had to finish it he hated to lose. He unsheated his sword and threw his sheath behind him out of the way. In his last fight he didn't get to do this before his opponent left but now he had a real opponent and was ready to fight for realt he took the hitl of his sword in both hands and held it out infront of him like a normal fighting stance. I hope your ready now for me to get serious. Axius smiled and launched forward. He swung his sword across with his right hand making it so only the tip of his blade would just barley miss the sheild giving the image that he had fully missed as his sword kept going.

ˉˉˉˉˉˉˉˉˉˉˉˉˉˉˉˉ˚ Evie raised her eyebrows and observed Axius with mild amusement. Surely he knew that the angrier you get in a fight, the more predictable you become. Not wanting to take the offensive side, Evie stood there patiently, waiting for Axius to continue his charade. The electrical current on her sword cracked and fizzed, waiting to be shock the next person she hits.

As Axius swung his sword his right hand released it like a baseball swing. Then bringing his right hand to his back and his left hand holding his sword arouind the other side he passed his sword from his left hand to his right hand behind his back. As he was doing that he was also quickly crouching and attempting a sweeping motion at Evie's legs. Even if he missed the sweep his sword would quickly follow.
