Rhea barked happily and licked his pack mother's hand before running to a bush away from where he though their den would be and did his business. He had been right that he was not suppose to go in his 'clothes' man he hated them he would try to keep them off. They didn't give him the freedom he wanted.

Once he was finished he moved around the clearing and to his sleeping sister whom he started to sniff along her side and chest and legs. He had to make sure she was okay. He drove his face and nose into her crouch and sniffed around trying to see if he could pick up any sign of sickness.

Ruran nods, "I hate the cold...and wet clothes are not fun." he walked slowly he was not happy but at least he had dry shoes. He had pulled them on as they walked.

"So I will try my clothes in the clearing too?"

Aras was jolted awake by Rhea's strange and unsettling behaviour and she cringed instinctively away from him, drawing her legs up to protect herself.

"What are you doing?" she cried, more scared because she was startled than anything else - though she would have been disgusted, had she not been startled.

Corrah looked down at Ruran expressionlessly. "Unless you would rather catch a cold," he stated as if it were obvious. "Now keep your eye open for wood, we're nearly there and you can start collecting now."

Kanis' head shot up at her sister's cry and she stood looking over at the wolf and her sister. What just happened? She started to move over towards the two of them. Maybe the wolf was not suitable to train with them? "Aras are you alright?"

Rhea's ears folded against his head and his tail tucked between his legs as he backed up a bit. He hadn't ment to make his sister upset he was just worried and she was yelling at him for just checking on her?

He whimpered lightly confused his large eyes both filling with a bit of tears. He just backed up a few steps though he jerked a bit when Kanis arrived at thier sides waiting for her to yell too.

He had just been worried.

Ruran sighed but started to look for word trying only to pick up the twings that would be useful.

Aras was staring at Rhea, silent now, but still shocked at what he had done. Why had he done it?

Then she spotted his tears, and she felt guilty, knowing she had caused them. She reached out one hand to him, beckoning for him to come closer once more.

"I'm okay, Kanis," she assured her sister. "Just ... Rhea woke me up and it startled me, that's all."

Kanis still didn't look convinced, "What did he do? That was not a normal shocked shout Aras...if he did something bad you should say so...Armus needs to know and correct it!"

Rhea saw her hand but he was still confused and slightly afraid. He looked away and then trotted off towards Armus. He didn't care any more if he wore the pants. Maybe that was why his sister cried out so. He was only worried about her and trying to check her over.

Ruran held his arms up, "Will this be enough sir? I know it is enough for the fish but is it enough for the clothes too?"

He smirked hearing the sound of his sister's should. It was hard not to laugh at her sound.

Aras shook her head. "No," she murmured softly, lowering her hand as Rhea wandered off, "it's all right. Don't worry. I was just startled, that's all."

Armus watched Rhea closely as he came closer to her, and when he was close enough she tied the pants on him again, making sure the belt was tight.

"She's just tired," she murmured to the wolf boy, recognizing his behaviour from the wolves that she had observed throughout her life on the mountain. She rubbed his head gently. "She's just sleepy. You slept on the way down, but she walked."

Corrah nodded. "If you make the fire right," he affirmed, "your clothes will dry as well. At least mostly. Enough to prevent you from getting sick."

Kanis nods, "Oh I see...well as long as he did not hurt you Aras." She sighed and sat down next to her sister looking over at the wolf.

Rhea didn't even struggle with the pants and he sat down once she tied him in. He nuzzled into the rub though he was still very sad. He had not ment to sleep on the way down he had wanted to explore but the full belly and the warmth of his pack mother's body just forced him into sleep.

Ruran nods, "I see...well then hopefully I got this right." he listened and talked though he was still not at all fascinated with fire.

He knew that just around a couple of threes he would see his sisters again.

Aras reached for her sister's hand and gave it a reassuring squeeze, smiling warmly at her.

"Thanks for worrying about me," she said softly. She moved a bit closer to her, suddenly feeling a little homesick, and leaned her head against her sister's shoulder. "I want Mommy and Daddy to come," she sighed quietly.

Armus smiled at Rhea and continued to rub his head. "You understand what I'm saying, don't you?" she murmured softly. "Soon enough you'll be talking back ..."

She moved her hand to scratch one of his ears.

Corrah nodded, feigning disinterest, and led Ruran into the clearing where the three girls were waiting - and he saw immediately that they were not alone. He stared at the wolf boy that Armus was petting, his face expressionless, wondering where he had come from and what he was doing there.

Kanis took it and smiled, "I want them too come soon but don't worry they will be here soon enough. We don't want them to see us upset do you? Then you wouldn't get to play with Rhea. And I am sure they will bring us a big lunch." She said softly trying to cheer her sister up.

Rhea tilted his head in his mothers hand. She was talking too much for him to understand. But he could tell by her tone she was not made and he smiled at her. Though as soon as her fingers touched his ear and started to work on it his eyes half shut and he looked happy again and less worried.

He heard the sound of Ruran's still clumsy and loud foot fall and her turned to face the two men growling loudly his ears back and his tail no longer swaying. HE was not going to let someone hurt his pack mother and sister. And for being so small his growl was rather strong.

Ruran raised a brow and jump back a bit at the growl, "What the hell is that disgusting thing?" He asked Corrah. Clearly all Ruran could see was a misformed wolf, he didn't see the human in Rhea at all.

Aras smiled at Kanis and snuggled against her, still tired and only a little comforted by her sister's words. But more than anything she didn't want to let go of her sister, the only link she had to what she was used to, what she was comfortable with.

Armus looked up at Corrah and Ruran as they entered the clearing and grabbed Rhea by the belt so that he couldn't go chasing after them.

"I see you've been teaching him at least one thing well," she remarked dryly, referring to the swearing.

Corrah raised one eyebrow and looked down at Ruran. "To be honest, I have no idea," he admitted, "though it looks like a half wolf to me."

He lifted his gaze to look at Armus. "Where did you pick him up?" he asked her in a bored tone, though he was burning with curiosity and wondering why the hell he was even there. "And what are you doing with him?"

"Found him in the woods last night," Armus grinned, not at all put off by Corrah's dark mannerisms. "I'm taking him in, taking care of him. He's going to train with the children. He needs someone to take care of him, and this way we have an even four, and it's better for the kids to spar with someone of their own ability anyways."

Rhea yipped a bit in shock as Armus pulled him by the belt. He turned to her distracted by the soft jolt and that of her words. She knew these to males? He was confused. And turned to look at the males again. His fur was still raised and his eyes serious.

Kanis turned hearing a real growl from Rhea then braced herself to attack when she saw Corrah and her brother. She smiled still holding Aras. "Its okay look Corrah and Ruran are here...so mom and day and Ruque will be here soon too!"

Ruran rolled his eyes, "Animal half breeds are worthless....they are too un tamable. And most become sterile so they are not good for breeding." He clearly had read or listened to his father's stories and retained some of the more negative things about them.

He walked over to a dirt spot and started to work on his fire. "I wont train with him....I don't even want to train with my sisters.." he looked at them for the first time, "Who seem more scared that anything about a wolf near them." After all he had faced a pack of wolves with Corrah the night before.

Armus smiled at Rhea and pulled him towards her so that she could hold him in her arms.

"It's okay, Rhea," she told him softly, stroking his hair. "They're our friends."

Aras cheered up then but she was too tired to do much of anything. It had been a very long walk, and her interrupted naps weren't helping her at all - if anything they were only serving to make her more tired than otherwise.

Corrah didn't care about what Ruran had to say about Rhea, but at his comment about his sisters seeming scared to have a wolf near them he looked down at the boy and raised one eyebrow.

"Do they look scared to you?" he asked Ruran, his tone indifferent.

Rhea hung in his pack mother's arms, looking much like a puppy that he just been picked up. He still didn't like these male but they did seem to be familiar to the females and he knew he could not take down the dark cloaked one. His ears lowered a bit and he licked Armus' wrist.

Ruran nods, "They are clutching each other like girls do when they are scared and Aras cried out a few moments before we got here.." he almost had his tent of sticks done.

Kanis looked at her brother. "We are not scared. Aras was just tired and Rhea startled her becuase he is a wolf and well he does things a bit different than we do!" her voice was even and calm though she was starting to get a bit angry were all men so strange? First Corrah, then Rhea and her brother? Next she would find out her father was off...

Armus raised one eyebrow and looked at Ruran. "These girls have been up and down the mountain, walking for hours," she told him. "What have you done? Fall in a pond?"

The more she knew about this kid the less she liked his attitude - and she was personally proud of the girls for making it even this far without asking to be carried like Rhea. She continued to stroke the wolf boy's head tenderly.

Corrah rolled his eyes at Ruran. "Make your fire and eat your breakfast," he ordered, moving to stand between the boy and Armus. Armus, he knew, would be more than happy to argue with him until kingdom come just for the sake of riling him up and the hopes of having an excuse to hit him once or twice.

Ruran glared at Armus, "I haven't had the pleasure of walking up and down a mountain I have been learning about fire and it wasn't until a hour ago that Corrah had be running around the mountains and fishing." he had stood up again and he was full ready to throw down at least verbally with the old female.

Rhea started to growl again as Armus' body tensed and he could tell she was getting annoyed he would protect her from what ever it was.

But then Corrah stepped in front of him and he leaned forward in Armus's arms trying to sniff the adult male.

Being ignored Kanis fell quiet and looks at her sister just holding her.
