"I'll stay." he said as he continued to stare down at the streets below as Lucind's footsteps echoed in the quiet.

Lucind smiled and nodded, then made her way back, less unsure in her movement like the day before, for she slowly grew accustomed to her blindness - it was a sort of innate process of adaption. However, the woman wished to get back her sight rather yesterday.

In her room she started picking up all those CD cases and booklets strewn on the floor and later walked down into the cellar to sneak a warm meal from the kitchen.

Seeing the new guest at the counter, one of the waitresses came over to the man and friendly asked what she could do for him.
"Do you already want to order something or shall I bring you the menu?"

He'd wait up on the roof, looking down into the streets with never focussing eyes, unmoving as a statue, a gargoyle. He simply waited, each small droplet of water running down his hair to drip to his feet and each bead of liquid evaporating off of him before he bothered to move. By the time he did however, it would be an hour past, and the monk would use the elevator straight down into the cellars.

It would be late, and people would probably be leaving by then. Kraun would leave them to do whatever they did and remain in solitude in the guestroom he had been staying in until the next morning. He closed his eyes and began to slowly cycle through the string of beads in his left hand, the simple rosary he always carried.

The next day, Wednesday, went by in just the same way, and the Half-Siren tried to find new things to do to kill her boredom.

For it only rained in the morning and then again only in the evening, Lucind could train a bit on the roof, that is, doing some 'shadow boxing' exercises for her stamina.

When she chatted with the Feimurgan's staff in the late evening before they all left, Lucind thought she could make out silhouettes of the objects around her, but when she woke up on Thursday and the same darkness greeted her, the woman supposed it had been wishful thinking.

However, when she strolled through the still empty third floor a sudden dizziness almost made her drop to her knees, hadn't she had the railing to hold on to.
Lucind panted softly when her blood buzzed in her ears.

"What the..."

On this day, the monk would be on the second floor, sitting in one of the chairs, reading a book in the quiet, round from spectacles over his eyes as he wore the dark chinese style robes. And then suddenly there was a noise from above.

Thud.

"..." He turned his head away from the open book in his arms and tilted his head up, the little glasses having a habit of sliding down his nose which forced him to tilt his head back further than normal to look through them up at the ceiling. That sound of course, was when the woman fell to her knees, the sound echoing in the quiet room.

He waited a moment, and then set the book down, taking note of the page and paragraph he was on. Slowly, he went towards the stairway to the third floor, wondering what it could be in such a quiet place, when the noise should be coming from the customers downstairs.

For a moment she feared she was going to faint, her heart pounded hart in her ribcage and she remained kneeling there with her eyes wide open.
But then, all those unexpected symptoms vanished as suddenly as they'd appeared - and instead the darkness in front of her eyes started to melt. Colours seeped into it and things took shape.

Lucind blinked and gazed on the floor.

"Miss Lucind?" the monk had reached to top of the stairs to see his host kneeling over in the middle of the floor, staring downwards, "Are you alright?" he asked softly as he began to walk over to help her up, thinking she may have had an accident or something.

She wiped the back of her hand over her forehead while using Kraun's help as a support for her shivering knees.

"Ah...I'm okay." Lucind breathed out, and slowly turned around to face him.
"In fact, I think I'm really okay now."
A soft smile spread over her lips when she raised her head and directly looked in his eyes.

There was no reaction his face as he returned to look through the tiny lense frames of his spectacles. "That is good." he said as he began to help her over to a chair to sit down in.

"Geez, I hope it was the last time for a good while I fainted or nearly fainted - this had never been fun at any time," she chuckled and rubbed her eyes.
"Still a bit blurry, but I guess it'll be fixed soon."

The Half-Siren was relieved, to put it mildly, to have her powers of vision back.
As soon as she felt better she would inform Hetel.

Well, it didnt seem like there was much to worry about, "Take care then." the monk said as he got up and headed back down the stairway to the second floor to return to his reading, as the woman could obviously take care of herself for now.

He sat down and picked up the book once again, opening it to the page he last left it as he looked through the glasses that were sliding off his nose and continued reading silently.

Lucind nodded and hummed.
Watching the monk leave made her sigh. She would've liked him to stay a bit, and the woman was sure she would have done so if she had asked - but not because he felt like it.

Lucind leaned back and drew her knees towards her chest, wrapping her arms around them.
She then thought about what she could do with the rest of the day and if there was something she had to catch up on first.

Daemion spoke with the tone of one thankful to be out of the rain. "Chicken soup would be great, thanks. I just need something to warm up after that rainstorm."

About a quarter of an hour had passed before the monk had finished his reading. He slowly got up and put the book away, into the same place he found it. With a flick of his wrists, he straightened out the black robes so that they were not creased with folds from his sitting before he walked off towards the stairs.

Back up towards the third floor did Kraun go, where he would find Lucind still sitting in the same chair he left her in. He figured a small amount of time that he had left for would be enough for the woman to adjust from her sudden dizzyness.

"How are you feeling?" he asked, standing about six feet away with his hands behind his back, crossed at the wrists at his lower back. He looked straight at the wall, impassively through the glasses, standing like a soldier on duty. He was use to looking away from people, even with the glasses, and now that the half-siren had her vision back, it would be just the same as everyone else.
