Koudo latched the hammer on to his backusing the strap that held it for him. He trusted this guy,he after all helped when Shadow crashed the Halberd. Maybe he was looking for a spot on the team, then they would have equal pilot's to take on McCloud's teamif it occured. This made Koudo wonder if the Fist could fit on the Halberd. If so, he could stay in the Halberd and only have to fly his ship when dog fights arrised. He also wondered if he could have his own personal turrent on the Halberd, that would be pretty good in his opinion. It was of course upto Shadow and up to Koudo to even ask him.

 Beware..."Right, so it's agreed there's no violence needed..." Shadow looked over at the bird "So, you must be here for some reason, and I'd like to know what it is..." He had no worries. After all, they were in his hangar. Not like there was anything that seemed to be worth much of anything either, so he calmly waited for a response. ...Metaknight has arrived

Koudo decided his presence wasn't needed for now and went back to his ship. He still needed to fully turn off his ship or he would be just wasting his running life on the Fist.

Marin was done in the Meteo belt and he found something interesting in it, it was a slate.
"Let's keep this between us Sparks."
You know I never go against your wishes Marin.
"Yes I know that and it makes me happy to hear"
Sparks was Marin's only friend besides those on his planet, but that was incredibly far away and transmission there took forever. Marin was heading away from the Meteo belt, he was examining what he found through his holo-shades.
"Well I wonder what this does...?" He thought out loud.

Oull looked over his scanner when what ever was rong with it stopped. "Whoa, that can't be good." He entered meteo as his scanners extended to full range and all of the asteroids on it dissapeared. "Awsome, finally got it to work." He dodged a slow moving asteroid and looked over his scanner. Cal was still inside but fokkusu was know where in sight. "What the? This things extending to nearly all of meteo. So where is he?"

Beware...Shadow felt a bit insulted and confused "Nearly equal?" He wondered what stats the guy had been looking at, because his were encrypted, and Koudo had not been a mercenary for too long. He shrugged. "I don't know why we'd need transport, but I guess you can join. We need a more complete team and there isn't much that seems wrong with you..." He then took a long pause. ...Metaknight has arrived

"Because if you have have 2 ships for transport, the team in whole is less likely to be spotted or attacked." He sat down on the side of the ship. "So great, what do we do now...er, I suppose I should call you boss. So what now boss?"

Valeria had cleaned out his entire bay, and was about to enjoy a nice cooked meal, when he was stopped by a voice he knew well, and actually liked. "'ey, boy. Been out and about, I take it?" This voice brought a smile to Val's face.
"Naw. Say, Eddie. What's up with the bandages? Your wife get angry again?" He couldn't help it. Those two fought constantly, whether it was him not taking out the garbage, to her ruining his precious glabidorm farm.
"You better believe it. She got inna rage cause I decided that I would hang out with mah buds. I didn' know there was girls there, but she found out, an this is what happin.
"Anyways, I got a job for ya. A colleague of mine found a spot on Fortuna that wasn't under CDF rule. He says there's good ore to be found. But I dun completely believe him, so I want you to find out for me. Standard fee applies, and I'll even throw in a new weapon I created." He may have been a bit older, but Eddie was a genius when it came to weapon creation.
"Fair enough. I'll head out now, and what not. Should take me about an hour to fly there if I have no interference. You got the coords?" Getting a nod, and a disk, Val jumped into his ship, then after a wave, started off to his destination.

Val had reached the drop point, though it had taken longer than she had expected, as the snow was coming down hard and fast. She dug under a large lump of very soft, new snow, slowly revealing a ridiculously heavy supply pack. Val was in excellent shape, but that didn't mean she could lift the thing; it was close to as tall as she was, and about 100 pounds heavier. Luckily, dragging it over fresh snow was fairly easy, so that was what she did. The snowdrift she planned on using was only a few meters away, in any case.

Some minutes later, Val was snuggled up in her little snow cave, surrounded by heat insulating blankets and staring up at the metal framework that would make both suffocation and cave-ins virtually impossible. She was beyond tired; already her eyes were threatening to slide shut, but she couldn't let them quite yet. After turning her com-link on, she she spoke in a calm, businesslike tone that was completely at odds with her sleepy appearance. "McCloud? How's your ship holding up?"

Okay, are you listening?
Grass grows,
Birds fly,The winds picked up and snow piled over faster. The ship was now covered in a thin layer of snow. If it were to go unchecked, in several minutes however, it would turn into a thick layer of snow. The com-link was on and Val's voice was emitted from the device. However, it was inside the med kit and the sound was muffled. Fokkusu sat upright. It was much colder now. He looked up to see snow covering over top of the cockpit. He quickly tried to start the Shadow Striker. It would not start.

Val waited though a few minutes of crackling static, then tried again, speaking much louder. "McCloud? How is your ship holding up?" She wasn't even sure why she was doing this; in all likelihood the idiot had turned the thing off.

((I just realized. We have two characters here who go by the name, "Val." a lot. Ha ha.)) Fokkusu turned the ignition several more times. A low hum comes from the engine with every turn, but it does not want to start. He gave up for the moment, leaning back. He then heard the faint sound of Val's voice. '....I thought she took off a while ago....' It then occurred to him 'Wait a minute.' He dug through the kit and pulled out the head set com-link. Fokkusu put it on. "Hello?"
I'm useless,
but not for long.
The future is coming on.
