((I got a new--or rather, old-- computer so my color that I used for Alayah is gone >.< I'm just gonna use a normal blue)) Alayah nodded, looking at Lance, then at Ceren. "I think I know a faster way..." she said. She was pretty sure she knew where they were going... Alayah turned in the opposite direction and began running. She was running in the direction of the forest...
They moved in a fashion that was somewhat like swimming, but there was no water in sight. Actually, there was nothing in sight. As they drifted closer and closer to the center- and to the demon realm- Minixi looked down and explained. "Well..." she said, making sure to avoid eye contact. "It was partially because I hadn't fully recovered my powers yet... In the demon realm, they're more likely to restore to their full potential. Not only that, but also," she said, looking back up at Vox again, "to lure the Imariquan and humans down to where we're more powerful. And you're the ideal key."

"I see, defeating them is our goal." Vox said.

Ceren didn't really know what she was getting herself into. She knew that she was being a bit reckless, but she wanted to find out the truth behind the demons. She ran and pushed any doubtful thoughts out of her head, focusing on her goal.

Minixi grinned. "Exactly," she said.
Alayah continued to run. The wind rushed past her face until her lungs felt like weights in her chest. She could almost feel her airways collapsing within her, but she kept on running. After she had crossed the road, she ran steeply downhill into the field. Then she could see the forest. It wasn't far...

Lance stood momentarily. Then, he looked up and saw the girls ahead of him. He quickly caught up. "So you know where to go?" He asked with surprise in his voice. "Then lead the way." although despite saying this, he walked on ahead, waiting to hear whether or not he was going in the right direction. But lance could already feel some strange, demonic aura, and he knew he was close. But how... He thought to himself... How did she know?

Ceren followed him. While she walked, she could feel something dark and oppressing. She breathed in deeply and asked Lance, "You and that other girl are Imariquan aren't you?"

Alayah's run had slowed down a bit, and she was now even and level with the others. She would be behind them soon; her stamina was dropping drastically. And if they were going where she thought they were going, it was probably going to be dangerous. Alayah continued to run, jumping over the sparse underbrush of the forest. In the distance, there was a trickling of a stream that could be heard.

"Right. We're Imariquan alright. Although, there really aren't anymore pure Imariquan anymore." Lance mentioned just as he began hearing the stream. Now he looked up and said "Of course, I could be wrong." Now he took out his music player and began listening to the rock that bounced in his head. He had seen Alayah catch up with him and Ceren and now began running once more, toward something. But what-thing?

Alayah stopped at the shore of the stream. It was a clear blue with rounded stones paving its floor. The sun that peeked through the leaves of the trees glinted off the scales of a fish or two in the water. The gentle babbling of the water upon rocks and more water gave the place a calm and peaceful feel.
Alayah looked back to see what the others were doing, only to find that Lance had pulled out his mp3 player and started headbanging slightly. He and the girl were approaching the brook as well. Alayah raised an eyebrow as she saw the music player. If Alayah enacted what she planned to do, he might want to put it up... because water conducts electricity.

A pause came from Lance. Then, "If you're saying we're going inside that stream," he began "Then I'll have to take this off and leave it here." "So," he paused again before continuing, "Are we or aren't we jumping into this river to go wherever we're going?" Annoyance could be detected in his voice, although his expression said otherwise, held one contradicting what he was just saying. He turned off the MP3 player and held the expression and tone at the same time. He looked down at the stream, the rocks curved almost perfectly, water flowing at a moderate speed, a moderate temperature. He held a different expression. And then he threw his MP3 player behind him, it getting caught on a branch and hanging by the earphones.

When Ceren arrived at the brook with Lance, she immediately understood what Alayah wanted to do. She kicked off her shoes and took off her sweater. Ceren waited quietly for Alayah to lead the way. She glanced at Alayah and felt that she looked familiar.

"Alright," Alayah said, looking back at them, "let's go." Alayah stepped out of her shoes and into the water of the stream. It was cool and clear, and the pebbles were smooth on her feet. The water came up to about her mid thighs. Her jeans soaked to a dark navy blue color as she walked in the water against the current. It wasn't very strong, but that meant that they weren't very close. Another sign supporting this was that the water wasn't that deep. She continued to walk, seeming to pick up the pace.

Ceren followed. The water felt very relieving for her sore feet. She had been walking all day. The rocks and sand were soft enough to massage her feet as she followed.

Alayah drifted through the water, noticing that it was now about up to her waist. Yeah... we're definitely getting closer... she thought. The pebbles underneath her feet weren't jagged or particularly uncomfortable. It was just a bit hard to move since the water was decently high up now. She also noticed that they were getting further into the ground. Around the river, two steep walls were rising. They only seemed to get taller as the river went on. Soon they would need to swim; the water was now almost at her mid-torso.

Vox stood before the land known as hell. "Minixi, Isn't it so strange how we cause so much havoc, but are only peons compared to others?" He asked not expecting an answer. "Well, I soon plan to rise higher than the urchin I was... And I thank you Clyth for handing me the key to it." Vox said, holding his hand before his eyes. It began to spark, then a shadow emerged from his hand, first lifeless, then it began to dance with spirit. "Do you like it?" He said turning to Minixi. "It is my own version of the blue flame, but with some very negative effects." Vox began smiling horribly. "The black flame." He reached inside the sphere projected around him, and pulled out Clyth's body. His eyes were now empty and soulless. "Thank you for being so loyal to the end." Vox cast Clyth's body into the shadow and he plummeted into the hungry mouth of darkness...
Clyth drifted up through the gate and to the surface of the water. In plain site of his companions. He took it... The b*****d took it straight from my body...
