As Ginsei walked over to the shack the sea breeze and the cold whittled away at him. So to warm his bones or at least his throat, Ginsei took a drag off his large jug. with a smack of his lips and a well displayed belch Ginsei corked his jug and continued on his way. reaching the shack in question ginsei fiddled with he handle but to drunk to realize it was unlocked and the pull side of door he pushed. a little eratated jinsei pushed harder and then jumped on it. falling down on the door swong open hiting his foot. "so thash how you wanted to plays" Ginsei got up and and entered the little shack slamming the door three times in rapid succession before slamming it shut. looking around the shack ginsei found a pocket watch but "was it the old mans?" he thought.

going to leave the shack Ginsei looked down to open his sake bottle seeing another watch. ginsei put the other pocket watch back on the desk and picking up the other one on the floor up. figuring proffesser araiguma missed his pocket on the way out of the door. drinking a bit of sake Ginsei left the shack shuting the door properly. the wind seemed harsher then before as he walked back to the peir end of the dock where the ship he came on was. as he walked to the old guy who needed his watch he realized he was running out of sake and he drank the ship dry in the week they were out to sea. on reaching the ship the captin yelled "you know where we are boy?" Ginsei thought hard and the only word he could remember seeing on the island was "shimagakures shlir.". the captin had a complete look of terror on his face as he kicked the plank in to the water. "cut the ropes, cast off!" "shlir whys are you leaving?" Ginsei yelled drunkenly in the wrong direction. "sonny this in the enemies den i would not survive one night on this ninja ridin place." the captin threw a small bag on to the dock before it was to late "their's you pay kid, minus the sake obiously." gensei pocketed the watch and and the bag of fifty ryo. swigging down some sake to keep his buzz up he said to him self "oh well, s**t happens" Ginsei turned around and saw a guy ((the professor)) standing on the dock. "hey old guy would you show me to the bar? i need some sake, the jug is low. would you help me?"

Rokugi couldnt Help but notice a drunkard and some weird old guy at the docks who had just passed by.He had been waiting in the cold wind of the shore for a little while and was getting a bit tired and lonesome there. He wanted to ask them but he wasnt sure how to address any of them.
A ship seemed to be departing leaving them both there after handling some baggage so Rokugi figured they where here maybe for the same reasons as him. He picked up his two bags of belongings and slowly walked over towards the two people there. Stopping not to close he looked in his head for the words to adress them but wasnt sure how to start, it seemed to him that the worst ability of his was short conversation. Keeping his head tilted down he spoke "Um...excuse me.Does any of you two live here?Im supposed to be met here by someone" He looked back towards the shoreline of the island and into the path tha probably led to the actual village "No one has come around so im kind of afraid i might be lost" Finishng his sentence he crossed his arms trying to keep himself warm in this weather. He had lived most of his life on warm climates so this cold winter to him was totally devastating in a sense

Feeling extremely tired after his sojourn at the shoreline (ooo he was so good with words), after a short rest Kane made his way back to the village. He nodded respectfully at Hamma and thanked him for the training. It was true that he felt like he'd accomplished a lot today. However his body was not beaten yet and he still felt ready for more... after dinner.

Hamma looked out towards the docks as the sun was setting. Seeing in front of him a boy he did not recognizing a lad he had never seen before on the docks. "You lads either finish up or meet me at my shop to finish the spars. The night is starting and the last thing i need is ye parents comin afta me." Still grasping the staff Hamma made his way over towards the docks. He hadnt seen the list of new comers but by the looks of this lad he was meant to be here but did he know that. Yelling at Rokugi Hamma waved a massive hand and took a step onto the dock with his massive weight and stopped. "Hey lad what ye be doing here on me island of Ol' Shimagakure?"

Rokugi turned at the sound of ashout just to find himself looking straight at a man of gigantic proportions. He had to look upwards just to try and take a look at his face and he wasnt even right at his side. His breath got cought and his heart skipped a beat. The name of Shimagakure seemed to him a sthe right one of the place he was supposed to arrive to, but his stepfather had said nothing of a giant. Keeping his head low and trying to hold his voice from breaking he pushed himself to answer. "Uh...hello...my name is Rokugi sir, i was sent here to.. stu... stu.. study. Im here to become a shinobi." Not once did he raise his eyes in front of the man while he spoke. He was shivering but not necesarily of cold.It was indeed getting cold but it was kind of a mix of being nervous, excitement and the chilly sea breeze. He let his long sleeve fall all the way down to cover his hole arm and then used them to try and wrap himself from the cold. " Are... you... My... Senssssssei?" His teeth where begining to clasp as he shivered but he stood where he was not wanting to offend the man he was speaking to. He didnt know the customs of the island yet and what would people think if just at arrival he'd offend his sensei? If this was indeed his sensei the man was sure scary.

((PM McClane on that one Kei))
Hamma looked at the boy with a furrowed brow as he studdered out why he had come to the island. He believed the boy but wasn't sure he had what it took to be a shinobi. "Well lad if ye think ya gots what it takes to be a shinobi on dis here island ye best be going with a attitude like that. Fear aint welcome in a warrior much lad." Hamma raised the staff a little and pointed it towards the end of the dock. "Unless ye be plannin to man up and tell me why ye hear like a real shinobi ye may as well be walking back down the peir and waittin for da next boat." Hamma had no intention of lettin the lad weight in the cold for a boat but he had seen a fair share of newcomers not make it very long and he was tired of seeing funerals for such young lads. If this boy could be anything like the first generations he would be alright. Hamma could say much for the latter. They all seemed like a whinny bunch to him. The class today was a sad sad thing indeed.

Go back? Just like that? Rokugi was stunned at hearing those words. He had been dreaming about this oportunity long ago, he had been dreaming of one day meeting his father and even make him proud...and yet in just a few mnutes he came off as unworthy. He couldnt take it. He remained silent for a moment looking at the planks of the dock before even uttering a single word . Slowly he raised his head to try and look the man to the face. His hair covered most of his face except for his mouth and right eye revealing the rings on them. "I cant go...I wont. I promised my friends and family i would make them proud and i promised myself i would become as great as my real father. i know ...i know im not a great figther, but thats what im here for,to learn and become better than how i am" He gazed into the ocean imagening for a second if he really had to leave and what would his mother and stepfather feel seeing him coming back. They had faith in him and he couldnt let them down. Yes he was afraid of this man and afraid of how things where going to work out but that wasnt gonna stop him just yet

Turning around towards Hamma he once again kept his eyes diverted elsewhere to the floor like watching his feet. He made an effort to show the man he wasnt that afraid and did his best to avoid looking at the floor. He was too used to it being so introverted all his life but this was not the time for it. He looked at what seemed to the the road to probably a village or The Gods knew where to while the splashing of the waves in the dock echoed in the back of his head "My mother teached me its not wrong to be afraid of the unknown, Its completely natural to feel like that when things are uncertain. The problem is when you give in to the fear and thats the reason why im here, to learn how to not give in." His mother was his all,his teacher, his father, everything to him and he had teached him well. The wind was blowing chilly out here as the night grew near but his thoughts had taken his mind off of it. His sleves danced with the wind as well as his slick black hair waved revealing parts of his face from time to time and as the waves hit the deck small drops of water hit his feet making him remember where he was.

Professor Araiguma slowly made his way down the length of the dock when he spotted something shiny in the hands of someone. As he neared his destination, he soon realized that the person before him was the one he had asked to retrieve his watch for him and that the shiny object was in fact the watch. "Why thank you sonny! I've been searching for that blasted thing all day long!" Araiguma smiled and held out his hand for the boy to place the watch in. "I've lived in this village for some time now and they have a renown shinobi academy. Helpful young men like yourself should be properly trained to defend themselves and the values that they care about. If you're interested, you should check it out!" The old man remembered the training he had underwent to prepare himself for the various adventures throughout his life. In all honesty, his experiences and learning from the mistakes that he made were the most valuable forms of education that he had run across, but he knew that those things couldn't merely be revealed to the younger generations. Instead, they would have to find out for themselves while embarking on their own paths through the great journey known as life.

ginsei drank the little sake that was left in his large jug. "well i need to find that bar soon." ginsei thought as he lifted his other arm to reveal the bag and watch on it hanging them at eye level. "so this'es yous?" Ginsei asked as he handed the watch over. "umm... that academies deal sounds greated but i need to find a bar and soon, then i need works. do you a smithy or ship cargos that need a hand?" ginsei asked in drunkenly with a hickup as he pocketed the small bag.

Zero had noticed it was getting late but was enjoying his victory too much to actually process it. Hamma's words snapped him back into reality. "Ah. Maybe it would be advisable to meet at your shop." Z said, looking at the older man and letting his staff down. He didn't worry much about Manuke. The kid didn't seem the type to strike when it was clearly very inappropriate to do so. He kept his grip on the staff tight just in case. Zero payed the newcomer no mind. If it was a threat, Hamma would handle it. If not then the more the merrier. Zero wondered if Batsu was waiting for him. 'Nah. He is probably on his own crazy adventure. I shouldn't worry too much.' Zero thought to himself. To be honest he wasn't exactly sure what Batsu spent his time doing when htey weren't together.
