Seth growled, damn sentinels. "We're just about to head into a forerunner facility, you probably saw it coming in. We're one click away. It's where the beacon had been transmitting. We have to head here, or the Monitor of this 'installation' will throw a fit and sick all the Sentinels it's got on us." Seth was silent for a moment, "I'm not sure how secure this channel is, the Monitor is an advanced A.I. ...However it did seem satisfied when the Captain told him we'd comply." Seth sighed a bit, "By comply I mean agree to go into cryo-freezing." Seth looked around and signaled for the Marines to slow down even more, "We're in a real pinch here Karr."

Warren told the privates he was fine and ordered them to let him be. "Ashton, already looked me over. I'm feeling better every minute sir, let me go with you. I have already investigated a good portion on the station." Warren said. "Not to mention my secondary skill is navigation"

Ashton was starting to feel more energised-- his body was replenishing its depleted supplies of nutrients, and he could feel lis strength returning. His thighs and arms, as well as his back and abdominal muscles, all began to twitch, tentatively at first, but then with more strength. The nerves were coming back online, and soonhe would be able to control his limbs correctly again.
"Secure network? No problem, marines. I'll get you a private channel from Tin Can in ... three... two... one... Confirmed, Rook-level security against eavesdroppers and SCRAMBLE protocols in effect. All listeners are silenced, Marines." Angel's voice was just that, completely refreshing in this place of crazy robots and psychotic caretakers. "Damn, ma'am. Good to hear from you again." Turning to more important matters at hand, he activated his mic. "Sir, Lance Corporal Dansmith, Able's medic." Ashton pitched in over his own COMM. "Angel has secured us a COMM link between all shore-side Marines and the Monterey. Speak your minds, boys."

Anthony nodded and looked around his position. "I got you sir. Because we're guests, I dont know my way to the power supply. I dont know how to help you, but if this Monitor sounds like an idiot to me. Lieutenant, your options from my standpoint are this... One, try to reason with this thing. Two, try to destroy it or throw it in a cryo-tube. Or Three, improvise... Your pick Sir."

Seth nodded solemnly, "Explain your situation Karrr, how long could you suppress incomings?" He moved through the crowd to get near the Captain.

He whispered through the COM, after hearing something down the hall way. "Well, with my ill-knowlege of the threat, and 2 AP turrets? 5 seconds tops! Now, if the thing is suceptable to rounds, I can load a few AP rounds up and plant a few in em..."

Lee was trying his hardest to keep the men in line, but a moral defeat this hard usually came only in two situations: 1. The company had been taken prisoner (which they pretty much were) OR 2. They had lost the engagement (which they had before it even happened) The lieutenant's efforts meant a lot to him, but at this point seeing Warren limp away half-dead had been more of a reality check than an issue. They were walking to their deaths. They were walking to an unending, unfeeling cage of metal and glass that would put them into unending sleep. The state of the cryo-tubes' previous tenants left the issue undebatable. If he couldn't think about a solution, then there was probably only a few people who could. And a few of them were lying asleep in the tubes they were moving right now. Making sure to always stay hidden from whatever "eyes" the monitor might have, though he was now a quickly receding dot of light, he saw Seth inch ever-nearer to him before finally settling into a walking pace next to the Captain. Lee gave the Lieutenant a knowing look before making the motion of opening a box. The order was silently understood by the hover-sled bearers near him, and slowly the tubes began to defrost in unison. We've got about ten minutes of walking left before we reach the village... Let's hope she wakes up before then. Slowly, inexorably slowly, the crystals on the tubes' surfaces began to melt away, revealing armored and suited forms previously hidden from the naked eye. And revealing to Able Company it's only hope for survival.

Seth followed by Captain's side, he could hear the cryo-tubes beginning to defrost. His heart seemed awfully loud.
If Lee decided to defrost the tubes that meant they were out of options. There was no guarantee that the people in the tubes could help, but it gave them a better chance than any.

The COM went silent. "Sir? Sir! I need a plan!"
He couldn't wait any longer. Leaping from his position, he moved down the corridor, hopefuly following Able.

Ashton stumbled over to the tubes, which were still in defrost, though thawing out quickly.
Looking at the info screen, his face paled. "....Sir...?" Shrugging, he decided they could use all the help they could get. He ran diagnostics on the occupants, and manually regulated one of them, which was showing signs of a minor malfunction, though thankfully nothing major or life-threatening. Worse case, they would just wake up with headache enough to want to punch a Brute in the face just for looking at them wrong.
"Thaw going smooth, sir. I jsut wish my freezer did hte same..." He tried a wry smile, though he realised it was innapropriate. He was currently on an over-compensation high, where his body produced too many endorphins and too much insulin in an effort to recover from the stim-low, making him hyper and giddy, though not terribly so.
