Kara purred loudly as she looked up at Sarah. Her ears went back when Becca said something and she looked at her and stuck her tongue out. She leapt out of Sarah's arms and changed back into herself and motioned for the two girls to follow her inside as she walked to the door and opened it.

((Becca didn't actually stick her tongue out. Just wanted to.))
Becca hesitated at the door's edge, refusing to be the first to enter the building.
"Are you sure this is a good idea?" she questioned, reaching for Sarah's arm. "Do we know what kind of freaks live here?"

As if on cue, David popped his head out of one of the upstairs windows the moment the words left Becca's mouth.
"Ooh, people I don't know! Hello, people I don't know!!" he said, waving cheerfully at the two of them. And with that, he leaped right out the window. Fortunately, David's powers afforded him the advantage of flight, so such an act was hardly dangerous for him.
He came to a stop just above the two girls heading towards the house, and just hovered there, grinning at them. Not that strange in and of itself, but David was also hovering upside down.
"HithereI'mDavepleasedtomeetyou!" he said rather quickly, extricating his hand from his coat (which was now hanging open around his head), and extending his arm in the gesture of a handshake.

Morgan simply put a hand to his face when he saw David's antics, and sighed. "Before you ask, the answer is yes, he's always like this," he said, shaking his head.
"So, um... I was kinda hoping that the subject wouldn't come up..." Morgan said, his face becoming serious once more. It was obvious what subject he was referring to, though perhaps not to the casual observer. The clothing covering his body gave a slight ripple as he mentioned it, as if for emphasis, unneeded though it may have been.

(I love David...I really do XD Poor Morgan looks so resigned right now lol)
Sarah followed Kara back towards the building pausing slightly at Becca's question. "Well...maybe...." She didn't get another word in as David made his appearence and like a fearless daredevil lept from the window and came to a stop just over head and hanging upside down. Sarah smiled up at him...he made a rather silly sight hanging like that. "Well hello David, I'm Sarah." Sarah decided to let Becca introduce herself this time and shook Davids hand.

Her ears went back in obvious annoyance when the over-hyperactive David appeared. "David I was just going to bring these two nice girls in for some hot coco, would you mind entertaining them in the living room whilst I go into the kitchen to get our drinks?" The cat-girl said smiling kindly at the boy. Yes he annoyed her and pretty much everyone in the house with his hyperactive personality but aside from that he meant well and was a sweet kid.

Hearing David's voice, her gaze moved to him, watching him plunge out the window. Her hands shot upward, covering her mouth which dropped open in a silent scream, worried about how injured he would be when he hit the ground.
His descent slowed above them and Becca blinked several times, dumbfounded to see the figure above her, slender form braced as if expecting him to fall the rest of the way. She reached up to shake his hand, gaze moving over his form as if trying to reason how he was hovering.
"Hi David, I'm Becca," she said. "You can fly," she said. "That is so awesome!"
She grinned up at him, expression turning rather friendly.

{Hehe. I have to draw Morgan in his facepalm pose.}
"Hello Sarah and Becca! Nice to meet all of you!" David said, flipping himself right-side up. "Ooh, that's better. All the blood was rushing to my head. I was starting to get a bit dizzy. Kinda like when you shake your head too much or stand up too fast or something like that," he rambled.
"Now what was I going to do again? Oh, right, entertainment! Come in, come in, I can't let you stand out here all day can I?" he said, finally landing softly on the ground, and motioning for the two to follow him into the house.

Victoria had just opened her mouth to answer Morgan's question about the new girl, when Sarah butted in with a brief introduction. There was a pause from the blond as she continued to speak dove right into that bit of conversation Morgan and herself had done a good job of avoiding. Victoria raised an eyebrow at this and winced a bit as Sarah took things into her own hands again and nudged Morgan and herself off to one side for 'privacy's' sake. Sarah was being gentle, and meant no harm, as usual, but the smaller female rubbed her shoulder following Sarah's touch.
"Yeah," Victoria sputtered flatly, nodding her head a moment at Morgan's statement. His suit twitched slightly, as if if a reminder of why everything had changed between then. "I was kinda hoping the same," she finished, having a lot to say and ask, but not wanting to start a fight and get bowled over once again.

There were a few moments of silence between the two. Neither of them really seemed to know what to say, and to Morgan it seemed that they were both waiting for the other one to make the first move. He had no idea where to start, so he started with the first thing that came to mind.
"I- I'm sorry for what happened..." he said quietly, not really knowing what else he could say. But he'd made the first move, so he'd just have to wait and see how Victoria would respond.

A quick glance to Sarah then Becca followed David into the mansion. Upon entering, she glanced around. She stomped her feet on the mat at the front door, snow falling off her boots.
"Nice place. Do you find Catgirl shreading the drapes?" she questioned with a grin.

"My name is not catgirl it's Kara." She said in as nice a tone as she could even though she wanted to shred Becca to peices but she restrained herself and gestured to the couch. "Have a seat ladies and I'll be out momentarily with your coco." She turned on her heel and walked into the kitchen where Lance and Valerie still stood. Kara, without saying a word, started making the cups of coco.

Considering everything that had gone wrong between them, Victoria was mildly surprised to hear Morgan give her an apology. An eyebrow tilting slightly, she nodded, to say she heard and understood him, and for a moment she was torn as to whether she needed to give an apology back or not. After-all she did inadvertently drive Morgan into a fit of frustrating, but it only did all that because she cared.
"Apology accepted," was all Victoria could bring herself to say. It was a start, much like Morgan's but there was still the issue of where to go from here.

"Becca be nice." Sarah chided the girl. "She's been nice enough so far." She said as they walked in after David. "It's nice to meet you too..." David looked like he was a lot of fun. Very hyper active to probably. Sarah took off her coat, hat and gloves. Tucking the hat and gloves into her sleeve she hung the coat on a peg in the hallway and stomped the snow off her boots taking care not to stomp a whole in the floor...she had done that once at Xaviers by accident. Fortunatly people didn't get too mad at her for it. Once the snow was off her boots for the most part she untied them and tugged them off before setting them aside so she didn't track water all over. "This is a nice place though."

Up in her room Lizz had napped long enough. With a startled yelp she fell out of her bed in a mess of tangled covers. "Oooooohhhh....." She groaned sitting up with a yawn. She glanced at the clock and after a moment decided that she felt pretty good right now so she decided to surface and face the world. She pulled some cloths on and slipped out of her room with another yawn.

Blade smiled and shook her head.
"I just want something warm to drink. Don't worry about me." Blade planted her fists on her hips and looked over the kitchen. "Right. Now, where's . . . anything?"

"Fridge, freezer...it takes practice to know where things are," Shandra smiled slightly, "Usually who's ever up first and down here gets cooking duty, or...we just end up cooking for ourselves."
She pointed to a cabinet to their side, "That's the plates," and then over, "The bowls," and then to another cabinet in the row, "The cups. The silverware is in the drawers underneath the counter by the plates and stuff."
