Hajimemashite! Ogenki desu ka?

I'm R.J. Patterson of Florida. You all may call me R.J. or Rush... I don't mind either way. I'm very interested in Japan and would give almost anything to go.... even if only for a single day. I'm 19 years old and a Senior in High School (class of '07 pwns all)! My favourite colours are Red, Blue, and Black (especially gunmetal black). I run my own Japanese culture club at my school. I love Rock, Metal, and Techno music, but I hate Rap and other Urban genre's with a passion. I also have a particular hatred for arrogance. I love Anime and I'm an avid gamer. If there is anything else you want to know about me, just ask. ^_^ Thanx for allowing me to join you. Domo arigato!

'Allo! x]

I joined this guild a while ago, but I never got around to actually POST or LOOK AROUND, for some reason. >_> Sorry.

Anyways...call me Eru. That's not my real name, obviously, but just...call me that, okay? [COUGH]I'm afraid of stalkers.[/COUGH]

Erm, let's see...I was born in Japan, and lived their for about 6 years. Now I'm here in the U.S. I can speak both Japanese and English fluently, although I can't read/write all Japanese kanjis out there. I can for some, just not all of them. I love the the Japanese pop-culture(xD), and the japanese literature. Like Anime and Manga.

Hello, call me Yami Yuka. Or, Brooke, my real name. I'm 16, and I want to thank the owner of this thread for accepting me, and creating the Guild as well. =)

My interest in the Japanese culture and language has grown rapidly over the past few years. Since I started getting into anime and all. Over the past 2 years I have been trying to learn the language. I took a small college course in beginner Japanese in Oct 2005 that lasted a few months. While I also own many things at home that I've gotten for gifts that allow me to learn the language.
While I know I've got a long way to go until I become fluent, or at least pretty decent at talking, I believe that I have taught myself a great deal of words. Having a foreign language class every year has slowed me down quite a bit unfortunately. I can't tell you how many times I've put sensei down for teacher on Spanish of French quizzes.

Anyways, I hope I can achieve learning more because of this guild.
whee
I just hope my French class doesn't stop me, or make me confused.

Hello,
I've been around Gaia for awhile and I've been learning Japanese for a few years now. Despite this I'm still a newbie to the guild and wish to give a short introduction. I am Koji or Nick, whichever you prefer. As I said, I have been learning Japanese and have taken 3 years of Japanese in High School and am currently in my second semester of Japanese language at college. I also participate in my university's Kendo-bu and have a thorough enjoyment of anime and manga. I hope to help out anyone just starting in the language and garner my own skills from the knowledge of those here more experienced then me.

どうぞよろしくおねがいします๐

hello, I am Ramen. I am 19 and have just started to learn the language, (I can do about one phrase so far.) but I can't read or write japanese... yet.
I'm working on it, but be patient because while learning japanese I am also working on french and spanish... and eventually german will be added to my vocab.
Why am I learning so many languages? I am an aspiring fashion designer, and if I am going to sell to different countries I don't want to have to bother with a translator.

Hi! I'm V. and I' 22. I've been studying independently for about two years now though I'm not progressing as well as I would like to. I feel it is because of the lack of support, the lack of talking to others that are learning just like I am.

I don't really know what else to say right now. If you want to know anything else feel free to ask!

FINALLY got finished with homework, and I'm able to post!
Hello! *waves*
I like to be called Nat-chan. I act childish at times, but I genuinely want to learn the Japanese language.

Call me the same as everyone all you want, but I like Naruto.
When I get older, I would like to become a video game designer in Japan, which is basically how I started to get into the Japanese culture. (Nintendo is in Japan, therefore I thought I should teach myself Japanese)
So, I've been trying to learn Japanese ever since.

The end.

Konnichiwa! My name is Zamir and I've been trying to learn Japanese off and on now for the past 3 years. It first started when I got into manga and JPop (Ayumi Hamasaki! heart ) and it has changed to learning Japanese so that I may enjoy the large variety of kinetic novels out there, such as AIR and Kanon. I also collect original Japanese manga and tankobons such as Chobits and Magic Knights Rayearth 2.
I suppose it sounds silly. but if I can listen to a Japanese song, I can emulate it and then I'll remember how to sing it in Japanese. I just don't know what I'm saying. >.< Another reason to learn!

Domo arigato to the captain for allowing me to join!

Konnichiwa~ Minna-san, o-genki desu ka?

Anyways, call me TL for short. hehe XDXD I've been trying to learn Japanese for the past months but I stopped because I need to focus on French first. I want to learn it because I have cousins living in Japan right now and I want to break the language barrier between us. That's it.

Spaz Queen
Yay I'm the first to reply!

Anyway, I'm Spaz as may have already been assumed. whee My real name is Kelsey though if anyone wants to refer to me with that name. As for my age, it's 15. And just for a random fact, my sign is Cancer. ^_^

My love for anime and manga stemmed from my love of Japan. I've been interested in Japan's culture since I was a little kid. And currently I've been trying to learn the language, though my attempts have proved rather futile. So I'm glad I found this guild, it'll be easier to learn with other people who share the same passion for the language.

And that's all I got for my intro!

End! xd

Your real name is Kelsey??????? That's really cool! So is mine!!!!!!!!
Sorry for the hyperness, i've never met anyone else with my name before!
