Nina smiled a little, and pet Mihoshi. "Thank you, Kasiya." She cleared her throat. "Now... where are the nearest police barracks?"

"I don''t know for sure, I haven''t been to Saffron City since I was three. Perhaps a little bit of scouting is in order?" she asked, looking at her wrist. "And I''d better get this useless thing up in a sling."

"I don't mind looking around for awhile, I guess," Nina replied. "And, maybe Nurse Joy has a sling that you could use."

Kasiya carefully got out of bed, and went over to speak to Nurse Joy. She bandaged up Kasiya's arm in a sling without much trouble. "I overheard you two talking," she said, walking over. "And I think that both of you should take one of these. " She held out a Revive for both of them, her usual smiling face was drawn up in a tight frown. "Please be careful," she pleaded. "You don't know if he still has the gun or not."
"We'll be careful," Kasiya said, recalling all her Pokemon. "We promise. Are we ready, Nina?"

Nina looked to Anna, who nodded. She turned her gaze back to meet Kasiya's and replied, "Yes. We're ready." Flareon rubbed against her legs as Nina stood up.

Kasiya lead the way outside, not really sure which way they should go. "Maybe we should find a map of the city somewhere?" she asked, looking around. Saffron seemed even more deserted in the night.

Nina blinked. "A map..." she echoed, looking around.
A small grin found its way onto her face. "I think I know who may have one," she said, looking toward Saffron's southern gate, spotting the female security guard that she had talked to many times last night.

"Lead the way," Kasiya said, holding out her arm. I hope we can handle this, she thought, as they headed towards the southern gate. "What will we do when we find Kilik?" she asked, after a few moments of silence.

"I don't know," she replied. "I believe reasoning with him is out of the question."
Nina, Kasiya, Anna, Mihoshi, and Flareon all approached the southern gate. "Hello again," she said to the female guard.
The guard was dressed in all black and only her nose and mouth were visible, but she was wearing a different hat. The rim still covered her eyes, however. "Oh god," the guard said, in her cool and soft tone. "You again? What is it this time?" Nina half-smiled. "We were wondering if you happened to have a map of the city."
Although Nina could only see part of the guard's face, she was sure that she had rolled her eyes. "Do I dare ask what you need it for?" Nina replied, "Typically when one asks for a map, they need it to navigate." She smirked playfully as the guard let out a sigh of almost exasperation. She reached into one of her back pockets and pulled out a map that had been folded in half several times, and handed it to Nina. "There," she said, "now can you quit bothering me so much?" Nina smiled and thanked the guard, as she and Kasiya walked back toward the Pokemon Center, opening the map.

"She didn't seem to like you much," Kasiya chuckled as they opened the map. "Okay," she looked around, gathering her bearings. "We are here, and the police barracks are here," she pointed. "The main Police Building is that way. Should we go to the police first, or try to find Kilik?"

"I think that we should look for Kilik," Nina replied. "While we don't know for sure where he is, he can't have gone far-- he has no flying or surfing Pokemon; just a Koffing right now. If anything, I'd expect him to be in one of the surrounding towns."

"Let's start looking then," Kasiya said. "I have an idea! Let's go! Bitey!" She released her green Zubat, and in a flash of dazzling sparkles, he did his usual three circles around her head, and tried to latch on, but she caught him. "No time for fun," she told him. "We need to to find Kilik. He has a Koffing with him. Come back and tell us if you find him, got that?" she asked, and he squeaked in reply before flying out of sight, high above the streets.

Nina stared as the Zubat flew off into the night sky. "I don't know where to start," she said, "the fact that it's shiny or the fact that it's cute!"

"Shiny?" Kasiya asked, looking at Nina. "You know, it was because of him we were able to get out of Mount Moon. He defeated that Rocket's powerful Lombre all by himself. I never thought Zubat could be so tough," she remarked. "He wasn't a pain to catch, either. Flew right into my Pokeball." She smiled, as they went off down the street.
