Akane walked over and tapped Yule on the shoulder, "I'll help you, I love birthdays!" she exclaimed, clapping her hands together. Se had over heard earlier that it was a birthday they were celebrating, for some person named Kai? She smiled in excitement as she waited to surprise the birthday-person.

Baizou glared right back at her. He was married to Ellie, he could handle this child's emotions. He wouldn't sugar coat his words like Tomo would, either. Tomo had his faults in the situation, but it was like Cass was trying to make him fail. Why was she pushing him away? When Kaia was alive, she wouldn't do anything but gush over how wonderful Tomo was. Now that she actually had a chance with him, she seemed disgusted by the sight of him. How ungrateful.

Tomo seemed oblivious to their optic argument and concentrated on helping Cass. "Almost there, sweet heart." He said, seeing a slimy newborn head surface. "Here he comes! Just a few more pushes!"

Tomo seemed confused by the outburst, but he was more focused on Liam right now. He eased him out and quickly wrapped him in the towel. "Oh Cass! You did it! He's beautiful." He murmured, looking down at his son. "Look at him." He said softly, bringing him up so Cass could see. "Do you want to hold him?" The boy knew his days with Cass would be few, if at all, now. What he wondered now would be if she were going to tell him, or if she would go in the middle of the night without a word.

Tomo looked down at Liam and ran his fingers over the barely formed feline ears at the top of his head. Hairless, now, but they would grow a layer of peach fuzz over the next few months. He looked over at Cass and frowned. "Sweet, what's wrong?" He asked, getting the feeling he knew why. Why would she want anything to do with Liam? He was half Kaia's, not hers. "Cass. You saved his life. You're our hero."

Cass only nodded, practically blubbering from her tears. She drew the blanket to her face, and couldn't help but want to bawl. She'd gone through all that work.. And he wouldn't even be like her at all. "Th-tha... Thanks." she said in reply to Tomo's praise. She knew that it was because of her selfishness that she'd been burdened with Tomo's baby. Not because Tomo loved her... because she wished for the admiration of her crush. Didn't she have a right toh ave changed her mind? Tomo's true love of Kaia would always rip Cass apart... She couldn't help it. She wanted to be away from the pain of it all.

Cass looked up at Baizou through blurry eyes. "I love him by my own choice. He didn't make that choice." she said, explaining most of her dilemma. With a gulp, she looked at the ceiling, before sighing, and returning her eyes to Baizou. She couldn't leave yet, it was too early. Late in the night, the woman would go...

Tomo smiled, "Do they?" He asked interestedly. "I'll have to wish Kai a happy birthday, eh?" He proposed, pushing open Rhiannon's door.

She was playing happily on her bed with her dolls all lined up and arranged. She turned at the sound at the door and gasped with delight, tail wagging. "Little brother!" She cried happily, standing up on the bed so she could see him better.

"Firstly, I am not going to talk you out of anything." Baizou began. "As it stands, now. I do not think either of you are good enough for the other." He spat, quite irritated with the both of them. "In fact, I do not like you." He admitted, nauseated by her constantly flip-flopping emotions. "However, even though you claim to love him, for some reason you reject any emotion he feels toward you. I understand that it is most likely because of Kaia, and yes. He still does have feelings towards her. This is because he happens to be a human being. However, because of this, you seem to be under the impression that he cannot feel love for you. Am I right?"
