Ceon walked with Layna into the movie theater, staring at the movie titles. "Okay, there's 'The loved and the lost,' 'Buckets of Blood,' and 'James Bond.' Which one do you want to see?"

Layna sniffed as the smell of popcorn hit her in a thick, delicious wave. She smiled at Ceon, and looked at the posters depicting the different movies. 'The Loved and the Lost' sounded like a sad romance, 'Buckets of Blood' more or less a horror or something. And 'James Bond', well....was James Bond. "Hmm.... Action, horror, or romance....which oh which...." She murmured.

"You pick a movie and I'll get us some popcorn. Now what do you want on it. Butter, salt, other strange toppings?" Ceon looked at the movies. "I'm debating over James Bond or Buckets of Blood."

Layna laughed softly. "Don't forget the gummi worms." She said with a bright smile. "Let's do a horror, then. We get enough real-life action to satisfy anyone." She said.

Ceon smiled and went to the counter, returning with two tickets, a large tub of popcorn and a platic bag of gummy worms. "OKay Layna, ready for some bloody and gory horror?"

Layna clasped her hands together in glee. "Yep!" She said with a small laugh. She watched as others walked past, going to see other movies. She took the bag from him, smiling. "Pure sugar in a gummy form. What could be better?"

Ceon sat down in the middle of the row of the movie, the last preview ending. "I don't know, popcorn mixed with gummies?" Ceon said as he offered her somepopcorn.

Layna sat next to him, and shrugged. "I have a craving for odd things right now. Don't ask, love." she whispered as the place darkened to black. The opening previews scrolled across the screen, and she watched it, popping some of the cooked kernels into her mouth.

Ceon laughed quietly and whispered, "That's what happens when you're pregnant." Ceon wrapped his arm around her shoulder as the beginning of the movi started on a dark night. pff, typical

Layna clasped the seat as someone screamed. She put a gummy in her mouth, chewing it to keep her from jumping hopelessly at the scary parts.

Ceon laughed as the corn starch blood sprayed out from a limb in the movie. He held Layna against him as she jumped. "You're afraid of this?"

Layna snorted softly. "No, I'm afraid of the gummi worms that will haunt me later." she said, her voice sarcastic but relieved. She knew this was just a cheap horror flick, but she couldn't help but feel the similarity to real life.

"Then maybe I should put them away for a while." said Ceon as he took the gummies from Layna and hid them in his jacket pocket. He handed her the popcorn,"Here, eat this."
