"Today?" Strange, he thought, we'll share a birthday. He walked to Cass and placed a hand on her head, "I'm glad to meet you, Cass. If you need my help just tell me. I also helped on some births." he moved back.

Trina, content now that her water glass was full, looked up and smiled to the bar's inhabitants in general. "Hello." She says, walking back around and sitting at the bar, taking a sip of water. The woman's dark eyes look to the window. Despite having just been outside, Trina seems amazed with the sunshine and plant life. Or rather, just pleased.

Tomo nodded to Cass, "My sister-in-law... Kaia's sister... Rin. She had twins within the space of an hour. It's absolutely normal." He continued to comfort her. "I promise you'll be all right."

Yule walked to Trina and pointed to the kitchen where a tray of blue cupcakes was, "Hello there. I made some cupcakes for the birthday boy. Do you want some? I can't let you enjoy the cake just yet." In her hands she was holding the banner.

Yule looked at the new person and walked tot he side of the bar and bowed, her face being covered by her white hair, "Hello and welcome, may I get you anything to eat or drink?" she straightened up and placed the birthday cake on a side of the bar that wouldn't interrup no one.

Trina's dark eyes shift to Yule, translating the words a tad slower than usual. "...Cupcake?" She repeated, then laughed softly. That was a funny word. A cake in a cup? Perhaps Trina is easily amused. "No thank you Miss Yule." Trina said, smiling. She wasn't entirely sure what a birthday was, but had heard the word before. "Who has a birthday?" She asks, curious.

"Oh, one of the masters that live here. It's his birthday. He doesn't like to celebrate his birthday but I think we should celebrate at least with a cake and things." she moved the tray of cupcakes to the bar and tried to tie the banner on the bar.

Bad way to comfort his girlfriend, Cass thought. Why, oh why would he talk about Kaia, and her sister's twins and whatever else?! Just thinking about it reminded Cass of Kaia and Tomo, being together.. And happy. Content as peaches, together in this bed. All the more reason to get this done with. Already, her mind told her to push as much as she could, with all of her angry might. "I.. wha...?"

Trina stood up, moving to assist with the banner. "Oh...of course." Trina said, though she wasn't sure why that was an of course thing. But if it made people happy and was a common tradition, then Trina would have to learn. "Are they all celebrated the same?" Trina asked, curious.

Baizou looked over at Cass after Tomo's comment and his eyes widened at the emotions spilling out of her. "Tomo..." He began, but saw that she had already started pushing, so he'd save it for later.
Tomo perked his ears and moved to the end of the bed. "Okay." He said,
getting ready. "Nice and easy. Keep breathing." He soothed.

Kai looked at Tomo stunned. He moved to the door, "Congratulations to you two..." he got out and started talking to himself, "Wow, next year there will be two birthdays this day..." he scratched his head.
"No. People celebrate it in the way they like it. Sir Kai is an adult but he's really a child. I thought some child things would make him happy." she finished tying up the banner she walked to the stairs seeing kai coming to the stairs, slowly but coming. She took out the confetti and gave some to Trina, "When he comes down let's surprise him."
