Ceon13 Ceon felt the darkness covering him and with the last of his strength, he took a final breath and sat up. He kissed Layna passionately, and his last breath left his body. He lay on the ground, dead, with his eyes closed and holding Layna's hand to his still heart. (D-E-A-D) {1. I didn`t kill Ceon, just watched. 2. I`m not a jackass, i`m just a little bored with this character, so i`m getting as many people angry with him as possible 3. Ceon, why would you care if I fired if you were going to kill your char off anyway?} Kuro turned around and faced Veroen, "Oh, your that vampire from the Graveyard. Gimme a second and i`ll be right with you" He turned and fired, missing by several feet. "Out of ammo, lucky you Layna." He laughed, calling her lucky when her mate died. He turned back again to look at Veroen, "Honor is a thing of the past."

Angel-of-Bloody-Midnight Layna let out a whimpering howl. Her arms shook as she held her son to her. Her now silver eyes were wide, but they did not look up. Pain flooded her, as if she had been the one shot. "No...No..." She whimpered. She couldn't just die. How would Gabriel survive? {He didn`t shoot you...}

large-tree4 "Ooo, what`s his name?" Kuro asked, not truely caring, he raised his rifle and shot twice (lol Ceon.), making two loud booming noises. 'one left.' he noted, before lowering the rifle. "So Layna, I have one shot left, you or the kid?" He lowered his rifle, then turned to Ceon, grinning widely waiting for his responce. {Fired twice into the sky, one left meaning he had one bullet left.}

Layna looked up, pain upon her pale face. "I'm alone again..." She whispered. Gabriel clutched her shirt tighter. "Ma-ma..." He whined. "Ma-ma!" The little Lycan child cried against his mother, unsure. "What do I do now...?" She whispered.

Veroen tightened his fist, with his teeth still clenched, and let out a long, but low snarl, as he struggled to control himself. 'I must admit, I have no love for Lycans myself, but THIS...this is just wrong...' he thought to himself, still infuriated at the situation.
His teeth, still clenched into a snarling expression, smiled a bit as he said, "YOU will be a thing of the past. The only thing keeping me from beheading you right now, is our previous friendship, and also, i have no orders from Alasdair to kill you...yet..." He grasped his sheathed sword at his side, still stiffened in anger. His other hand steady, ready to grab one of his handguns, if needed.

"I told you, I remember no friendship with you." He looked away, drawing his silver katana, with no intention of using it on either Layna nor Veroen. He turned and took a few steps back, keeping the sword behind his head. "I`ve been telling Alasdair from the very moment he tried to kill me, " he turned around and faced Veroen, "It`s going to take alot more than one bullet to kill me." He walked further away, "I`ll see you later, friend." {Exit}

Veroen snarled and gripped his sword so intensely, it would of broken had it been any normal sword. "b*****d..." He muttered under his breath. He then turned to the Lycan mother and her child. He hesitated not knowing really what to do about the situation. He hated all Lycans for events that happened in the past, yet he could not help but feel compassion for the widowed mother and her now fatherless son. He loosened himself, and with a sigh, moved over to the two of them. He kneeled down next to them, and politely asked, "Is there anything, anything at all, that i can do to help?" His question was sincere enough.
((hey, sorry, i have to get off. bad timing... sweatdrop ))

Kyrre Desaecula "now now..." A dark tall figure wearing a deep green trenchcoat over his shoulders walked intot he lamplight and addressed Kyrre. "That is no way to treat a lady, boy." Armand Desaecula stood six and a half feet tall infront of him, a wry smile on his face and a cane held steadily on the ground to the right of him. "then again, i never kiss on the first date, so." He shrugged and walked silently forward, he caugh t the girls pleading eyes. "I find it much easier to be polite...at first." His deep crimson hair shone menacingly int he fading parklights. Kyrre faked an eyeroll - he'd actually been wanting some interference. "There is a time for niceties." he replied. He looked down at the girl held fast under his arm and bit his lip. "This is not one of them."
"Besides" he adds, "I like the feisty ones. The really violent ones tend to go all the way.." he taunted, flashing his razor sharp teeth in the moonlight at the girl - she opened her mouth to scream loudly but Kyrre's hand moved over it, letting out but a soft cry.
"So. Feel like being a hero?" he said with a smirk.
Armand looked down at the ground and chuckled a little. "Hero... hardly.... i just wish you children would stop playing with your food. either entertain them or cut to the chase." He said, nodding at the man before turning around. "hot-bloods... i Loath hotbloods. is there no romance left in the existance of vampires..."

Gabriel began to whine, and one of his tiny arms found a letter in Layna's pocket, the letter Ceon gave to Layna and told her to not open unless he died. Gabriel pulled it half way out, then stopped when he felt his pther hand brush against his mother's arm. He went back to crying and grabbed his mother's arm tightly, letting loose a series of dog-like whimpers.

Veroen looked at the small child intently, curious at the letter the small child held in his hands. He smiled a bit, in a comforting sort of way. He then sighed, still undecided about the situation. He wasnt going to harm them, not now. This was NOT the time to be thinking of his revenge for his long lost family many centuries ago. He extended his hand to help the mother up, with yet another smile on his face.

Layna blinked back tears that splashed from her hazy eyes. She took the hand that was offered, all semblance of sense gone. It felt as if her mind had just turned off to avoid the pain. She knew to take care of her son; he was crying, and that made her want to bawl her eyes out. She stood on unsteady feet, not daring to look at her now cold, lifeless husband's body. How many people she loved had she seen die before her eyes. She didn't remember. "Why does this happen..?" She whispered incoherently, not to anyone in particular.

Gabriel pulled the letter all the way out of Layna's pocket and held it up high in the air, thinking it to be some sort chew toy. He waved it around in glee, thinking everybody would be happy to see it, even though he really didn't know the importance of it.

Layna gently pulled the paper envelope from her son's hands. When had she put a letter into her pocket? She couldn't remember. Through her blurring eyes, she pulled the seal apart, and pulled out the letter contained within. It smelled of Ceon, which made her whimper loudly.

My dear and loving Layna,
If you are reading this, then sadly, I am dead. How I have died, I do not yet, but I'm sure the time will come sooner or later. Know that I love you with all of my heart, and all I have ever done was for you and Gabriel. Now, on to present matters. I want you to raise Gabriel to be strong, yet loving, like his parents. If you are reading this then you are probably crying right now, but please, for the sake of Gabriel, don't. I know it will be hard, but it will be worth it some day. I have left you all of my money, credit cards, and safe account numbers and locations. That is all I can think to say to you that I probably already haven't said on my death bed.
Love, Ceon
