Layna felt the hackles on the back of her neck rise. With her son protectively held in her arms, she ran forward, her clawed hand gently taking her mate's. "Idiot..." She muttered harshly, tears dripping down her cheeks. "You promised..." She whispered. Gabriel let out a wail at the strong smell of blood. He didn't understand what was happening to his father, but from his mother's reaction, he knew it wasn't good.

Daiguren looked own at the dying lycan, "As close as man is to god. A monster like me can only be killed be a man not another monster." Daiguren's human shape was taken back completely, he turned and walked away.

Ceon looked up at Layn and a tear trickled downhis cheek, "Layna......I'm sorry........but.....we both knew this.....would happen someday...." His eyes switched to Gabriel, then back at Layna, "Take care of Gabriel.........raise him to be a strong lycan.................loyal to the pack.." His hand reached up and touched her cheek.

Kuro walked into Central Park, ironically whistling as he doned his hunter gear and sniper rifle. He sat down on a metal bench and looked through the scope of the rifle at his surroundings. 'Ceon, Layna, that demon. Seems like the gang is all here.' He stood up and began walking towards Ceon, and Layna, whom he loved to hate.

Layna whimpered, her form shaking. She couldn't handle losing another person whom she loved so dearly. "I will....I will..." She murmured, touching the slowly cooling hand.

Ceon's skin was white as sheets, and blood soaked the ground around him. He coughed up blood and panted, "Layna......I........love.....you..." Ceon could feel the grip on Layna's hands slipping, and his breaths grew more and more faint.

Layna stroked his damp cheeks and hair, hoping to comfort him. But it made her insides churn unsteadily. She was breaking. Her heart was shredding, she knew that. "I'll always love you Ceon...you made me....so happy..." She whispered, trying to keep her voice even, but failing miserably.

Kuro smiled at their pain as he slowly approached, feeling like death himself. He removed the Uv bullets from his rifle and replaced them with three silver bulltet. "I`m sorry to bother you in your hour of darkness Ceon, but I must ask, would you prefer to watch Layna die first?" He placed the barrel to her head and cocked the gun, but then noticed his fading, "Oh well. I guess I get to pick then."

Layna looked up, her eyes turning into slits, the pupils red. "Try it, and I'll kill you too." She growled. Her claws extended to black points. "I'm tired of pain tonight, and you are not helping." She could feel the bloodlust crazing her animal side. But the small whimperings of a child brought her back. Gabriel gripped her mother's shirt with tight little hands. She closed her eyes, squeezing Gabriel lightly.

Ceon felt the darkness covering him and with the last of his strength, he took a final breath and sat up. He kissed Layna passionately, and his last breath left his body. He lay on the ground, dead, with his eyes closed and holding Layna's hand to his still heart.

"Ooo, what`s his name?" Kuro asked, not truely caring, he raised his rifle and shot twice (lol Ceon.), making two loud booming noises. 'one left.' he noted, before lowering the rifle. "So Layna, I have one shot left, you or the kid?" He lowered his rifle, then turned to Ceon, grinning widely waiting for his responce.

Veroen appeared from the shadows cast by a tree near the scene of the 2 on the ground, and the Demon, and...Kuro... He silently stepped out of the shadow from whence he appeared, quickly observing those around him, with his team of 3 Void Ninjas, assigned to him by Alasdair, waiting in the darkness in the distance out of sight, smell, awaiting orders. It appeared that this one called, 'Ceon', was going to die in the arms of his lover. Kuro, despicable as ever, seemed to be enjoying this, and was planning on killing Ceon's lover. Veroen couldn't help but utter a low snarl as he looked at the expression on Kuro's face.
"You really have no honor, Kuro..." Veroen said through his clenched teeth.
This was so pathetic, killing an enemy while they were helpless, and down.

Layna let out a whimpering howl. Her arms shook as she held her son to her. Her now silver eyes were wide, but they did not look up. Pain flooded her, as if she had been the one shot. "No...No..." She whimpered. She couldn't just die. How would Gabriel survive?
