Duellist Bertram made a mental note of that, and smiled. "Um... be careful when you put that one down, though..." He reached for her hand, but stopped himself, instead walking back along the path. "I like the Forest Grotto, myself..." he walked past a grotto that looked like it had been stained with blood, and carefully redirected his gaze. "The master... you don't often get vampiric gardeners, and he can't resist the urge to use his powers..." In the Blood Grotto, several strange roses peeked out, indescribable. Their colours ranged from burgundy to a deep maroon, and their scents were probably best left unknown. Finally, the pair heard a tinkling sound, and when they walked around a corner, it was as if they had entered one of the forests of Barton. As giants. A tinkling stream ran from nowhere and into a pit in the ground, several shades of blue roses around the edges. Growing at the bottom of one of the miniature pines were several delicate green roses, and two thin roses that looked like they had been made by spiders. ~~ Taryn walked over to Mimi, smiling. "Do you need a hand? Duellist means well, really..." she shrugged. "He's just..."

Duellist She giggled. "Well... if Duellist actually looks like he's going to do something wrong, just bring up my name." She raised an eyebrow. "I heard from Bertram that there were some complaints about you and Hakan two nights ago...? Something about loud banging noises from the furniture?" She didn't sound like she was judging, she just sounded like a concerned friend. -Her eyes went wide and a crimson veil spread across her cheeks. Oh goodness, how could she have been so foolish and not realize?- Um...er...uh... -The girl cleared her throat, glancing down at the floor for a second.- It.. was just a pillowfight. -She mumbled at last, kicking herself in the a** a few times mentaly.- But if Duellist acts up, I'll let you know. I promise. -Smooth, anything to waver attention away from herself. woot!-

Neit, as he would call himself, listened carefully to what the neko said, already plotting what he would do. He took whatever she gave him while listening. Finally, after she was done explaining him what this hotel was composed of, he reached in his coat pocket. After a litle searching, he took out a little bag filled with twenty four carrot gold and dumped it on the desk.
"there, that should pay for most of it" He said with a smile and started walking towards the bar. he overheard Taryn's comment and was about to respond, but simply ignored it. The man did not wish to get into a debate, at least not on his first day here.
He discarded the pamphlet and most of the papers, he did not care much about forms. He went through the french doors quietly, not wanting to disturb anyone that was currently inside the room.

Then he reached for one of the green roses, and passed it to Ikue, happy that she was enjoying herself. The green rose was an amalgam of smells, giving the general effect of a forest. "Don't drop that one, though..." The wraith honestly didn't know when he had enjoyed himself so much.

"And by the way, what's with Bertram?" -Curses, foiled again!- No, I am not entirely sure what I am getting into...-And to think she was to have this conversation with Ryoko later on. Good thing the women did not know about the teens rooming for the past two days in a row... not like they did anything bad.- But.. he's my friend and I happen to enjoy his company, is that so wrong? -Then Bertie was mentioned and the girl couldn't help but smile. Shifting her gaze in all directions before leaning toward the vampiress, the girl whispered- I believe he may have found the cure for his heartache, m'dear, in the hands of a very pretty new resident.

With the last slice of the large surpreme pizza hanging out of his mouth, Hakan was kicked back comfortable in the wooden chair, forcing it to stand on its hind legs. With his hands folded behind his head, he gave a content, full sigh. With food in his tummy, he felt like he could go on for a few days non stop! ..After a good nap mind you.
However, with that strange, oddly friendly fellow stepping on into the bar, Hakan couldn't help but follow him with his eyes. Finally, Hakan couldn't stand it! He stood up and began to make his way out to the lobby again, he couldn't stand that person, for some strange reason. There was something.. Wrong with him, and the fact Hakan couldn't put his finer on it pissed him off even more!
