When morning came, Earendil was up before Miyuki knocked on his door, and this time it was him knocking on her and Lin's door instead.
He didn't know if Cindy and Vergil were going to be down for breakfast - Cindy might even come down on her own, he had no idea - but he had a feeling Miyuki might want to bring Vergil his sword right away ... just because she always seemed eager to do things like that.

Surprisingly enough it was Lin who opened the door this time, she was fully dressed but there was little sign of Miyuki. She smiled at him, and chuckled a bit.
"Well this is a change," she murmured, "Miyuki isn't up yet."

Earendil chuckled softly. "Good," he grinned, a mischievous glint in his eye. He took Lin's chin in his hand and bent over, brushing his lips quickly over hers in a good morning kiss - something he didn't like to do so much when Miyuki was around. He smiled and trailed his fingers along her cheek. "Good morning," he murmured softly.

"Good morning..." Lin smiled widely.
While it was one of those things to get use to (kissing in front of a child was at times awkward), she loved his good morning kisses.
"I hope you slept well."
She knew Miyuki didn't, which was why she was still asleep.

"I slept well enough," Earendil smiled back. "It's a bit difficult, sleeping in dead silence once you get used to sleeping with a few other people in the room. And the fact that it was so still ..."
He chuckled softly. "And you? I hope you slept well."

"Well... at least I did once Miyuki stopped moving," Lin laughed softly, "She still likes sleeping under the wing, but I don't think she's use to sleeping off the ship now."
When it came to people, Lin didn't have too much of an issue because she was always with Miyuki.

"Fidgety?" Earendil guessed with a faint smile. "That must be hard. I hope she gets used to it soon, she's a growing girl, she needs her rest too."
He peered past Lin into the bedchamber. "Should we wake her?" he asked softly. "Or should we wait for her to wake up?"

Lin thought about it, honestly she didn't see the harm in waking Miyuki. If she got up, she would be up, and if she didn't wake up the first time then it was a clear sign she might need a bit more sleep.
"Let's go wake her up, she'll probably take one look at you and pounce," Lin joked.

"Knowing her ..." Earendil chuckled. He kissed Lin one more time before heading over to the bed and sitting on the edge of it. He brushed Miyuki's hair away from her face gently.
"Miyuki," he murmured, poking her nose lightly. "Time to wake up."

Miyuki's nose twitched, she could hear a voice above her. Her eyes wouldn't open though and she buried her head under the sheets.
This made Lin giggle, because it was different to see the hyper active girl act like any child a school morning. Well, if they had school that is.

Earendil chuckled softly and nudged Miyuki's arm. "Wakey, wakey," he grinned at her.
This was somehow amusing to him- probably more so than it should have been.

Miyuki finally opened her eyes, and peeking over the bed sheets blinked blearily up at her ada. It perhaps took another second or two for her to process that it was her ada waking her up. She sat up, rubbed her eyes and yawned a great yawn that showed off her baby canines.
"Ada?"

Earendil chuckled again and hugged Miyuki. "Yes, it's me," he grinned. "Come, it's time to wake up, all right? Time for breakfast. And don't forget, you were going to bring Vergil's sword back to him, remember?"
He also wanted to see if the boy was all right - he had seemed to be in quite a bit of pain the night before.

"Oh yea!"
Upon hearing that she was awake, not quite to bouncing kitsune standards but she was awake and already rolling out of bed.
"I forgot!"

Earendil chuckled and stood up again. "Well, I'll let you get dressed first, then," he grinned, heading back towards the door. "I'll be right outside when you're ready."
He gave Lin a special smile, one that said I love you without words, and then left the room, closing the door behind himself.
