*Clever watches as he cleans up the leaves and smiles brightly. It was such a touching thing, that he didn't want her to have to clean up the mess. *

*Hikaru half-stepped back as Keira approached him and so quickly asked about his forehead. He didn't want to talk about it really. He pulled his hair down over it, as he had been doing. He looked off to the side as he spoke.*
Nothing, I just hit my head accidentally. I guess I'm getting clumsy, heh...It doesn't really hurt so don't worry...in the morning I won't even feel it!
*He yawned, as if to reinforce the fact that he was planning on passing out soon. Honestly, tonight he wanted to sleep alone. He couldn't take feeling like he was messing around with either of this girls right now. He needed to heal first. He then looked at Clever and wondered if she was wanting to sleep with him again tonight. He would feel bad if he had to say no like he had to Keira once before. He shrugged at her comment.*
I know you could have, but I could have too, so I should, since I made the mess, heh. I guess I can't help but be nice to you also...but...I think I should probably go shower and get myself in a bed soon...I'm sorry to leave you both so soon.

*Keira shrugs and pat Hikaru's head*
Well, it's no skin off my back Hikaru. Sleep sleep! You need it. Yeah.
*Keira seems unlike herself. She was more chipper and wasn't letting Hikaru affect her like she told herself she would. She smiled at him and then looked at Clever*

*When Keira pats his head he silently winces in pain. His cut was still hurting and he had a pretty bad headache, but he tried his best not to show this pain. When he listened to her words her found them strange, wondering what had caused this change in her. He looked at her a moment before speaking.*
Keira...er, nevermind...Thanks. I'll talk to you tomorrow I hope. I'm going to sleep now...I hope you sleep well...Oh, I just remembered...um, I doubt you noticed, but my door was locked last night, I'm really sorry, if you noticed...It won't be locked again...
*He seemed honestly very sorry for this, even though he wasn't sure if it mattered to her at all. He had no way of knowing if she had even known his door was locked, but he wanted to be sure. After a moment he was patted by Clever as well. He smiled softly, feeling a bit like a pet suddenly, He didn't mind though, he mind the gestures sweet in a way. He nodded to Clever and smiled tiredly.*
Thanks Clever, you too. Don't stay up all night...Sweet dreams.
*After Clever was gone he turned his attention to Keira. He yawned.*

*Keira coks her head to the side when Hikaru just about mentions something. She nods as he apologizes to her and waited for clever to head upstairs before she answered him*
I did notice...I came becuse I had a nightmare. It's ok though. I just locked myself in my bathroom and ate some chocolate! No worries!
*Keira was playing off that she was distrot over his door being locked. She ddn't even wanna bother with it really and didn't want hikaru to know her pain. She then smiles to Hikaru leaning inward and taking the back on his head into her hand and pulling him forward. She quickly pecked the side of his forehead and releases*
Now get some sleep! Go! No worries! Heh..
*Keira flashes him another smiles as she waits for him to leave*

*Hikaru felt a sting in his heart. He couldn't feel much worse really. He hated that he had left Keira on her own when she had a nightmare. He had lived with many for so long, and wanted to protect others from then. Yet again, he failed. He couldn't believe for a second that she was fine, but it was too late now, he had really messed up. When she pulls him in he gets worried, and he is glad when she only gives him a small kiss on the forehead. He felt like if he got too close he would break the things around him, so he was trying to stay away right now. He stared at her a moment before speaking. He just looked at her face intently, as if seeing something she didn't.*
I'm so sorry you were locked out...I really am...More sorry that you could know. I will make sure my door isn't locked again. No one should have to sit awake after a nightmare alone. I'm sorry Keira. Good night...I hope tonight is better for your dreams. I'll see you tomorrow hopefully. Sleep well...
*With that he smiled tiredly and walked to the stairs. He took off his shoes and headed to his room. He was extra careful to not lock the door. He stripped off his clothes and took a long hot shower. Both cuts stung at the water hit them, but he didn't pull away. Soon he got too tired to stand without feeling dizzy so he got out of the shower and changed. He fell onto this bed exhausted and feel asleep almost instantly. His dreams were uneasy.*

It's fine really. People need their alone time! Go now. Sleep. Don't feel bad about it! All I drempt was that you had eaten all of my chocolate ice cream!
*Keira laughs and watches hikaru vanished upstairs. She stands there a moment and thinks to herself. She had forgotton how easy it was for her to put on a happy face. She smiled at this and then sat down*

The next morning, Ben woke up and found Synge laying next to him. He took a long look at her face, it looked like she might have been in pain when she slept and this pained him. The more and more he thought of the kiss, the less and less meaning it had to him. After all, he wouldn't hold her in a stranglehold, he had always heard the phrase that if you hold on too tightly to love it will either escape or be strangled to death. Both of these options were not acceptable to him. He loved Synge too much to make her leave or make her hate him. He knew that if he pressed too much about anything dealing with Hikaru that it would do him nothing good.
He kissed her lips once and whispered in her ear what he would have told her if he could.
Whatever bad is happening to you...I love you anyway...you can always come to me for comfort...never forget that.
He got up and stretched quite a bit before heading to the bathroom for a long shower. For a while he just stood in the shower with the water on him and thought of all of the wonderful things he had learned since he was here. He didn't know how but for some reason he really was growing as a person and as a loving person. He took some pride in this as he finished his shower. He really was feeling good about today.
He changed into some clean clothes and headed out to tavern to prepare some food.

Now in the main tavern, he found it spotless as he figured he would, he was very happy with his decision to hire Clever as a cleaner, she did a wonderful job. Smiling, he made his way to the kitchen and grabbed the materials to mix up pancake batter.
Once it was ready, Ben cooked himself 3 pancakes and left the excess in the kitchen fridge for anyone who might want to use it. He took his pancake platter to his favorite spot and ate it slowly. As he did, he noticed how so many tables hadn't even been moved since the place opened a few months ago. The average person couldn't tell as Clever had dusted the place so well but Ben knew where the chairs were and he wondered if the place would ever be full.
After finishing his pancakes, Ben took his plate to the kitchen and washed it. He could leave it for Clever but why bother when she had enough to do already. Once it was clean, he placed the clean dish in the cabinet and then headed to his office.Synge ((I'll be arouna at the usual time! In class for now.)) ((Okie dokie, going to lunch soon as usual. ))

Ben quietly headed to his collection of books and grabbed the book he had been reading about the human eye and took his notepad. He kissed Synge once more on the lips and headed out of the tavern.
Ben helped himself out to the sitting area where he had spoken to Hikaru and started looking over his book and writing notes as he went.

((Wow, just saw that I typed "arouna" in the OOC post haha.))
*Hikaru woke up alone in his own bed. He hadn't done that often lately and felt a bit of relief as he did so. He wouldn't have to walk around feeling guilty about something he did last night. Things were just becoming so complicated for him lately. He wished things weren't the way they were, but at least he had hope that they might get better. He got up and changed, grabbing his jacket on his way out of the room. He put it on as he walked downstairs, where he slipped his shoes on and looked around. He saw no one. He wasn't sure if he was glad of this or not. He remembered something, went to the library and saw that the book he had looked at yesterday was still on the floor where he had thrown it. He picked up it and put it away where he had found it. Maybe that was the kind of person he was, but he wasn't going to let it get to him so much anymore. He nodded to himself as he headed to the bar area. He sat down and took out a cigarette and lit it. He was smoking more often now.*
