I'm back baby!
Managed to get Illustrator CS4, full at that! At least in that sense I am not screwed royally.
I hope it works from now till forever.

Why yes. A nice chap at a nearby art store tipped me off about a Kinko's not too far from this general location, as well as another print store that's cheap, he says.
I have only $10 on hand; I hope that'll be sufficient.
