Gimme the load-down on it. All I know is that you're one of four people going against a horde of zombies. And you can't climb up ledges by yourself, as seen in a video displaying dumb AI. EDIT: Side note: I never played L4d1.

It's got lots of replayability. 5 campaign with 4-5 chapters where they change everytime. It's got a versus mode which lets 4 infected verse the 4 survivors, a scavenge mode which is the same as versus but quicker paced where the survivors have to pour gas into a generator to get points and add more time, and survival where the 4 survivors fight against waves and waves of infected until all 4 die.

Plot? Zombie virus broke out two weeks ago. Has infected nearly everyone in the area. The four main characters are in that 10% of the population that is immune to the zombie virus. Throughout the five campaigns they're trying to get to safety, ultimately heading for Louisianna( and the coast.). The rest of the plot happens as you play it.
