Layna laughed softly. "It is nice...It's good, too." She said, wiping her face as sauce dripping from her mouth landed on her chin. "Messy good." She said with a grin.

Ceon luaghed and gazed out the window, admiring the colored lights that outlined every inch of the buildings around them. "Have you ever been to a nice restaurant before?"

Layna followed his gaze, staring out at the twinkling lights that dotted the pristine snow ith a rainbow of color. "No....Never." She whispered, seemingly lost in thought. She wanted to remember this one moment. Still frame it in the fabric of time, so she would forever remember the love, the laughter.

Layna looked over at him and felt her cheeks heat under his gaze. "What do you mean?" She asked questioningly. "There's a lot of people out there like me...." She was confused.

Layna stared back at him, and felt a shudder travel down her spine. She blushed, lowering her eyes. "T-Thank you...." She murmured. It made her feel warm inside to know someone was so devoted to her.

At his words, Layna felt butterfly wings batter her stomach. What was he doing? She looked at him, her face holding a curious, questioning look. "What is it?" she asked, her voice shaky.

Ceon put his hand into his pocket which was vviolently shaking. He pulled out a white gold ring. The ring was studded with three diamonds, the largest one in the middle. "I used this exact ring when I asked Marissa to be my mate. Ceon knelt on the floor next to Layna, the ring held up to her. "Layna, will you be my mate?"

Layna felt her breath catch in her throat. She stared at him, disbelief in her eyes. She had only met him days ago, and now... What would be her response? Her mind was going through so many things at once. She felt her cheeks pale. Don't you dare faint! She told herself sternly. She felt her response catch in her throat. "Yes..." She mouthed, a croaking sort of sound coming out.

Ceon put the ring on Layna's right ring finger, his heart full love. Ceon stood up and passionately kissed Layna. "You have made me the happiest man in the world, Layna."

Layna gasped softly at his kiss. She put a hand to her throbbing heart. "I-I-I'm glad..." She stuttered. She felt a rumbling in her throat, and she hugged Ceon tightly.
