Qyp Hrm, since they use chakra, that would mean... Sage of Six Paths would of been teaching their ancestors... Just like the ninjas... Well a back story that covers the 800 years since the end of the naruto series. I'm really just filling in the blanks by just giving them the ways of the historical samurai since we've only seen the samurai of naruto fighting and thus at face value only. We don't know anything about how they think. Anyway I'm making a minamoto clan for the land of iron and this is thier background and the background for the land of iron for our guild. Well nothing is official yet I'll have to run it by the crew first. Following the end of the Fourth Great Shinobi War, the Land of Iron was left in limbo and the Land became increasingly fragmented. Eventually the country became split along Clan lines and open war broke out between the two most powerful clans, the Minamoto and the Tokugawa. The smaller clans in the country slowly pledged their allegiance to one of the two clans, and the Great Samurai Civil War began. The beginning of the war saw little success for the Minamoto, as they were forced to leave the capital city. Slowly however they began to win battles in the country side and whittled down the Tokugawa, whilst their own strength grew. The Civil War culminated in the siege of the capital city by the Minamoto that lasted several months before the Tokugawa finally surrendered. After the surrender of the Tokugawa, the Minamoto became the sole leaders of the Land of Iron and established the Minamoto Shogunate. Since then the Minamoto Clan has ruled over the Land of Iron with the strongest clansmen, usually also the eldest, taking the title of Shogun. Though their numbers have decreased as of late they still face no threat to their rule for the foreseeable future.

Aruil And so began the darkest age in WotN history... On a wonderful little side note, I'm going to laugh so hard when the whole starting college thing hits most of the active crew and the peons are left floundering.

I'm thinking of canceling the whole Minamoto Clan idea. I could use the story I made for them as the background story for the land of iron.

Newb here. My name's DJ and I'm... err... old enough. biggrin I just recently became hooked to Naruto and in the midst of my addiction, I joined the guild.
