Mizuiro back handed Akemi across the face, he didn't really care for fighting him. It wasn't that he knew he was stronger, it was the fact he just came in thinking he was the best fighter around. Akemi was not worth his time right now.
Mizuiro walked away.
Damage 4 + 2 = 6
Taijutsu To practice Taijutsu, the students were paired up and sparred against one another. I try to keep those with a high strength together and those with a weak strength together. No one was allowed to use ninjutsu or genjutsu during the fight. Taijutsu was the only techniques used. They kept fighting until 1 Hp was left. To Attack: 1d20 + Melee Attack Bonus To Dodge: Dodge Bonus (No dice roll) To Grapple: Bottom of this thread To Escape Grapple: See To Grapple To Calculate Damage: Random number 1+str mod to 6+str mod Ties go to the favor of the attacker. Rolling a "1" is an automatic failure. Rolling a "20" is an automatic win.

((Kusarigama Chain 13+5+2= 20 hit.))
Mizuiro just thought he would slap Akemi and walk away? What kind of Hoshigaki pulled that kind of bullshit. "Don't walk away from a good fight you ******** sissy a** meatsack wannabe." He pulled out his kusarigama chain, spun it, and tossed it at Mizuiro. "b***h." Akemi didn't look to see if it hit or not, he just walked up to Taka and said, "I need something else to do."
Meanwhile the weighted chain hit Mizuiro in te back of his head prior to his exit.

Ikasu growled as he knew that he had been beaten. it was ridiculous that he was beaten by someone who was seemingly weaker than him. He rationalized and knew that in a ranged weaponry fight, Ikasu would have won easily, possibly by the first move. Sighing, he just took the hit to his pride and pulled himself up off the ground. He stood up and grudgingly walked over to where Mizuiro was about to start a conflict with the rude Hoshigaki.
"Well I have to admit, I did pretty bad in that fight, but it was fair enough. Nice work." Ikasu felt terrible admitting his weakness and offering congratulations to someone else, but the truth was that Mizuiro really did deserve it.

Mizuiro was knocked to the ground before he could recover from his previous fight. He struggled out of the grappling of Akemi's weapon, and then slowly walked to a bench to have a rest. That is all he needed, was a rest. "Akemi the Coward. The shameful one of the Hoshigaki. Using a weapon in a taijutsu fight, and against a weaker opponent too. Pathetic. I, who is already hurt from a previous fight and who is also less experienced." Mizuiro was retaliating, foolishly. But he was just saying what he thought.

Akemi shrugged and said, "Think what you will, but your weakness is only an excuse for losing. Stop thinking like that and instead make it a reason to train." He looked around and said, <******** it, I'm tired of playing in the kiddy pool. I'm going to go do some chakra training, if you want to come with me and get stronger together, then come, but if you want to sit around all day and mope because your weaker than me you need to realize that its your own fault. We came here together, you lagged behind. Show a bit of initiative and grow up, I WANT you to beat me Mizuiro. Its ******** shameful that your so far behind and so weak. Congrats on beating that kid though." With that Akemi exited, with no idea as to where he would go, but only an idea of what he would do when he got there.

Taka sighed,Akemi was going to be a pain to have in a squad that was for sure. "Akemi, go away for now. You're more advanced then these students." Taka said as he turned to both Mizurio, and Ikasu. "As for you two, that was a good match, but you have some more to learn. Go over to the Hospital, and have them patch you up. When you get back, you can go for the ten laps around the Academy with everyone else, ok?" He told them knowing that the medical jutsu he knew, well it would be a waste because of how much it could heal.

"Run around?" Mizuiro actually dared to glare at Taka right then "I prefer training my taijutsu skills Taka-sensei." He then looked around for the where the Wooden Dummy. He wished to perfect his taijutsu before learning proper techniques.
But the thing is, he didn't really know how to use this thing. He just stared at it for a while expecting it to give him instruction for a few seconds before realizing he had to either figure it out, or ask for help.

Akemi returned to that academy. He needed to find Taka-sensei and apologize, but something distracted him, it was dead here. "HEY YOU LAZY ********!! GET OFF YOUR ASSES AND TRAIN! IF YOU WANT THAT HEADBAND YOU'VE GOT TO WORK FOR IT! GO!" Akemi started to jog towards the wall, attempting to motivate the others. "I SAID COME ON!" He took off into a sprint and shouted back, "DON'T GIVE UP! YOU ONLY FAIL WHEN YOU GIVE UP! THERE IS NO TRY, ONLY DO OR DO NOT! GET ACTIVE AND REACH FOR YOUR GOALS OR YOU WILL FALL EVEN FURTHER BEHIND!" Akemi's meditation training had unlocked something deep inside him, he was now motivated, energetic, and exited. Something in him just wanted to keep running and power-housing through the training that Taka-sensei had unsuccessfully tried to start. He looked forward and saw the gates, he had already finished the first lap, how about that, he took a deep breath and ducked into a sprint as the next lap began.
As Akemi started his second lap he looked back to see if the others were keeping up. Sadly he saw none. maybe that was because he had just rounded a corner. The Hoshigaki boy was pretty pumped right not, filled with adrenaline and testosterone rather than piss and vinegar as was usual. In fact, he felt amazing, as if the weight of the world had been lifted, and as he came to the halfway point of his second lap he couldn't help but to notice how easy this was compared to the first race he had been in, this was the evidence that he had improved. Akemi thought back to those days, Hiru telling Mizuiro, Shinzu, and himself to race to the grove. Man had he been cocky at the start of that race, only to find Shinzu waiting for him at the end of the trail. Akemi had barely known what hit him back then. And as he looked forward he yet again saw the gates. Lap two, finished, and he wasn't even tired yet. Even better, he wasn't tripping every five seconds like last time, and that he liked.
Lap three. Akemi already had a fifth of the race done. "HEY!" He called out to anybody that could hear, "DON'T GIVE UP! IF YOUR TIRED FINISH THIS LAP BEFORE YOU REST! YOU WON'T GET ANYWHERE IF YOU DON'T PERSEVERE!" Akemi switched to long strides so as to use less energy, even he wasn't immune to fatigue and he wanted to make sure that when he got to that point he had already made enough ground that it didn't matter if he took a short break. And besides, what could be better motivation than a ninja headband and a Samehada Scale sword? Well that answer was simple, getting the real Samehada, but Akemi had a lot of work before he got to that point. One day he would hold that sword though and he would wield it better than any of the seven swordsmen ever had. Akemi smiled as he yet again saw the gates, Lap Three was done.

Lap four brought great promise, Akemi was still filled with energy and bounding around the academy with all the grace of a buffalo on a treadmill, but he didn't stop despite that. In fact the long strides had nearly become leaps now and Akemi knew that he must look ridiculous to some, but it was effective. Sadly his Jacket and bag were becoming bothersome, he would ditch them next lap. The proud Hoshigaki thought back to his strength training he had done some time around last week, perhaps he was finally seeing the benefits of it now. One thought still wrecked his mind though, was he just going to leave Mizuiro in the dust? The kid needed some help with his training and that was apparent. Akemi could only wonder where he had gone off to, Akemi hadn't seen him since the start of the race. And again, he had become lost in thought only to see the gates again, lap four was over and done with and this race was two fifths of the way done.
Akemi lifted his bag off of his shoulder and tossed it aside, his jacket soon followed it as it slid off of his arms and fell behind him. Akemi wiped the sweat from his forehead and went full charge as he experienced running without the flapping of a trench coat behind him and without the weight of his weapons weighing him down, awesome. Akemi began to unbutton his shirt one by one as he ran, this shirt would have to go too. "Heh, people are going to think that I'm a nudist or something." Akemi threw his shirt aside and revealed his rock hard, blue, body, glistening with sweat shining in the sunlight as his pectoral muscles lightly bounced with each rhythmic step. This energy was almost electrifying, and even if he wasn't tired Akemi suddenly found his second wind and he felt the paradisaical joy of his own renaissance.
Akemi didn't even realize that he had passed the gate again until he was suddenly seeing landmarks that he recognized as being past it. That meant lap six was underway and he was over the halfway mark. Where were the others then? Did they all just fall off the face of the earth like some kind of antiquated object of days bygone? Akemi thought it best to worry about such things at a later date, as in after the race was finished. He rather enjoyed running the perimeter with his bare chest exposed to the elements and moist with the sweat that came forth from the physically exacting work out. It would leave him in a rather decrepit and worn state, but he would press on and give it all he had until he could proudly say that he had overcome and defeated Taka-sensei's challenge and hopefully earn his headband.

Lap seven ... This was all becoming to easy. He had well surpassed the level of academy student and he had to wonder, was this all that life would hold for him? I mean he hadn't even seen Taka yet and the other students didn't seem to be running with him. If he couldn't learn and he couldn't train, Akemi truly felt that he should just die. Pathetic as it was there was little else to his small world. Why train when his entire future lay in the hands of the laziest bunch of ninja the world had ever seen, namely Mizuiro. That little hypocrite harps on him for disgracing the clan, but can barely manage to learn a jutsu and constantly talks back to and disrespects the instructor. Honestly there was no hope at this point and Akemi realized this. He wasn't about to change his mind either. As he thought about his failure clansman he saw Mizuiro practicing on a wooden taijutsu dummy, and using it completely wrong. Awesome, yet another reason that his clansman had embarrassed the Hoshigaki.
As Akemi finished up his seventh lap and began his eighth he couldn't help but to wonder where everyone else had vanished to, the academy seemed void of all life. He went into his eighth lap slightly disheartened by the lack of presence and motivation that he had witnessed in Kirigakure as of late. The village was once so abundant with life and now it had all the life of a morgue after a manslaughter. The lack of motivation in the village furthered this, as he could not graduate without a team and his fellow students never seemed to train anymore. This lap went by slow, even Akemi was being sucked into the blackness of death, just like the rest of the village. How depressing. He must have tripped over his feet at least a dozen times this lap.
On lap nine Akemi had to wonder why he was even running anymore. As he passed the gate he saw the sun setting and the people still gone. It was like a bad dream, he was alone. Perhaps this was really genjutsu training, that would explain why Taka-sensei was nowhere in sight. Maybe he wasn't even running, hell maybe he had never ran. What if he had never even made it past day one in the academy. Genjutsu was an evil thing. Akemi thought it best to just keep running and to stop thinking. Thinking had never lead him anywhere good, and he was pretty sure if this was a test he would have failed by now anyways, so he would just live with it. Akemi waited as the gate came into sight once more, the final lap was approaching.

Akemi sprinted past the gate, if this was real it would be over soon, and if it was fake, same thing, why did it matter if he was alone anyways, Akemi had always been alone, some more alone time wouldn't hurt him, but then again it wouldn't help. God it was empty here, it was almost creepy. Akemi hurriedly finished his run and returned to the gate.
"Taka-Sensei!? Mizuiro? Alligator Boy? Anybody? HELLLOOOOOOOOO!" Maybe somebody would show face.
