Just as Chris Brooks got out the manhole cover on the street near his car, he heard the metallic runch from his escape route, Ah ****.

Quickly, the black thug locked the manhole cover and made sure the last trigger was in place. Then, Brooks sprinted to his car, got in and peeled out of the area.

Meanwhile, all looked lost up top until Dundee saw a car peel out from the warehouse. "C'mon, Antigua! Here we go!" Dundee shouted and revved the stunt bike, giving pursuit, Antigua following close behind.

Meanwhile down below, the alligator kept on the black thug's trail until he got to the manhole where Chris locked. All was too quiet except for a faint beep and a red LED . . . the Alligator got up to it, sniffed it, and snapped all the wires and dove into the water to avoid the blast. Ewww . . . sewer water . . . but it beats dyin'! he thought.

(Okay, you should be burnt, but able to survive that blast, but where did the motorcycle come from?)

The explosion burned at Arell's backside, but was soothed a bit by the sewer water. The manhole cover was blown straight upwards by a pillar of flame.

(Soothed by sewer water.... Don't forget your shots, Arell. twisted )

Chris Brooks floored it, noticing that he's being pursued by... one or two people on a motorcycle and began ranting, "What the @#$%!? Where'd this honky get a motorcycle!? AAA express!?!? Ain't this some $#*%!! I need a @#$%@#^ vacation out of this #%@&#xin;g town!!!"

The black thug continued to try to shake his tail.

((It was in the circus train . . . they were taken when Brooks went into the warehouse.))

Arell braced himself and felt the blast, but didn't have time to cuss and moan. He scrambled out of the rubble and out before the sewer before the lid fell. He worked through the burning sensation. Lesser fools would have kicked the bucket at this point! he thought as he scrambled to catch up.

Meanwhile Dundee held on to the handlebar with one hand and the other on his gun, making sure it was loaded, he took careful aim at the tires.

RATATATATATATATAT!!!

The Thompson gun opened fire as Antigua aimed for the other tire and fired.

RATATATATATATATAT!!!

Bullets zinged.

Chris' steering was affected by the automatic fire he was receiving. He noticed that one of his pursuers (I'm assuming that they're on two bikes. Correct me if I'm wrong.) was directly behind him. Brooks slammed on his breaks to slam the bike and knock it over.

((Right now just one.))

Dundee saw him slam his breaks and stopped, opening fire, aiming for the tires and gas tank.

"Get ready, 'Tigua, there's gonna be one hell of a blast!" Dundee growled. Meanwhile, a large, twenty foot alligator finally caught up to the others. Must stay animal. Human me may die. he thought as Arell crawled up to the others.

(O.o Uhhhhh..... How the devil does Arell catch up to an active car chase just after crawling out of a blown up sewer?)

(I honestly don't think that Gator Man would catch up very quick, but I think he'd be able to follow the sounds.)

Chris Brooks popped open his door and dove out of the wrecked car. Hitting the pavement rolling, he avoided most of the explosion that temporary covered him from additional fire from Dundee or Antiqua. Brooks dropped a smoke grenade to cover his escape.

The Gotham native realized where he was, and took off down the alley toward the platform for the 'L'. Two cops spotted Brooks running, so he ran directly toward them, "Officers! Officers!! There's a couple of maniacs that way shooting off tommy guns!! Hurry!!!"

The policemen heard the distant gunfire, already radioing it in, "Go on, get out of here."

Brooks nodded ran onto the platform, dropping a token in the turnstyle. Then, the well dressed thug ducked into the nearest elevated train available just before it took off for its next stop. Sitting down and breathing a sigh of relief, Brooks pulled out a cellphone and called the Ghost, "Boss, you ain't gonna believe this...."

Meanwhile, the pair of officers called for backup to try to handle the pair of Cajun gunmen. [??? Not sure if that's right, I am talking about Dundee and Antiqua.]

((I'm gonna fix that in a second. As for Antigua, she's not Cajun. She's Jamaican.))

Meanwhile, the alligator crawled through the streets of Gotham, slinking along through the shadows trying to catch up with the two heroes . . . but stubby legs can only go so far.

Meanwhile, Antigua and Dundee were trying coughing and trying to get the smoke to clear when two police officers arrived on the scene and none too happy about the two carrying heat. Dundee smirked, remembering his biological father was the Sheriff of Calhoun Parish and he tried to explain things as best he could.

"Now, officers, I know this looks a might diff'rent than what's really goin' on, but it ain't at all what it looks like . . . before he escaped by some smoke bomb, the fellow that was in this car was trying to kill me, my friend here and my brother that's somehow gone missing . . . his shootin' iron should still be in th' car." Dundee said as Antigua nodded.

"He speaks da truth, mon. Da guy that got away wrecked my car!"

VICE

Vice continued invisibly through the walls and hallways towards the source of the noises. Soon, he came across a group of people in the back of the shop, all scourging through the vaults, doors, and any area they could find that might be hiding treasure. He could only see the back of their shirts as of right now…some were black, some were white, but they all had an image of a woman’s face wearing a black and red clown hat. Definitely uniforms of some kind. With his interest growing, Vice moved around the room until he could get a much better view of the small group inside the room. There was one woman, and four men. They all wore gray slacks. Those who had black on the back of their shirts also had black on the front half of their shirt. The other half was white with red diamonds. The other shirts were white with a red half and black diamonds. The woman had one solid side red, and the diamond side was black with white diamonds running down it.
The woman had black hair that was pulled back with a red band into curls at the top of her head. Large gold hoop earrings and…erm, rather large assets. She kept close to two of the other men. One man with his long hair slicked back into a long hairbow at the base of his neck, sideburns, and glasses. The other man, whom the woman seemed to keep the closest to, wore a hat and shades. Nothing very striking about him save for the shiteaten grin on his face, most likely caused by the busty brunette hanging all over him.
The other two men seemed to keep grouped up themselves. One was an African man wearing a gray skull cap, and the other man was…huge. He was tall, bald, bulky, the only visible part of his chin was a bump in his neck, and a heart tattoo on his right arm.
With his interest growing farther, Vice drew closer towards the group, phasing through large objects as he came across them. He knew the consequences for getting within a certain radius of the group…but he didn’t quite care at the moment. On the one hand, he could take what he wanted and they’d be the scapegoats. On the other hand, these clowns might be able to help send him in the right direction for his little problem. Any direction would be helpful right now. As he drew closer, the larger man began kicking at the small safe he was trying to open. Growing more frustrated with it, he picked the thing up and slammed it into the corner of another metal safe. The corner of it’s door busted open and diamonds bounced out of the safe as it fell to the floor.

“Buster! What do you think you‘re doing? We gotta keep this quiet.”
the dark skinned man hissed, glaring over at the man.

“Couldn’t help it, Lewis.” the incredibly large man, Buster, replied. A satisfied smile lacing his face. “Thing wouldn’t open. I’ve been itching to break something all day.”

“I’m just glad that we’re finally doing something that’s going to pay off.”
grumbled the man with the slicked back hair and glasses. “Careful over there Kenny. We don’t want to set off any alarms.”

“Don’t worry about it, Nix.” smiled the man with the shades and floppy hat. “We took care of the security before we came in here. Everything’s off. Besides, we took the guards out, so It’s not like anyone’s going to get here before we walk out.” Then he looked over towards the dark haired woman. “Ain’t that right Quelle?”

“Oui, Mon Chouchou.”
The raven haired woman replied with a large smile. “We will be long gone before anyone knows we were here, non.”

Vice smirked and lazily began walking through the group, heading towards their bags stuffed with diamonds and other treasures. He’d check out the loot first…then ask about where he could possibly find the Joker. It wasn’t like they were going anywhere just yet.

“Then let’s grab everything we can and get out of here while we can.”
another woman’s voice called in from the doorway. A white face popped into the doorway, much like the face on the back of the group’s shirts, and the rest of her black and red costumed body followed. “Batsy hasn’t been seen in quite some time, but I’m not in the mood to take chances tonight. Never know who you’re gonna run into.” Harley Quinn said with a small grin and a pop gun resting easily at her side.

The pair of police officers still had their guns trained on Dundee and Arell, "DROP YOUr WEAPONS!! PUT YOUR HANDS ON TOP OF YOUR HEADS, AND GET ON THE GROUND!!!!"

Meanwhile, a pair of police vehicles screamed past where Harley Quinn and the Quintets were, their sirens announcing their passing.

((Arell's still an alligator, Antigua's the one with the gun))

Antigua and Dundee decided not to push it and follow orders as a large alligator-creature slunk and was on his way to turning back human that by the last bit of alligator was gone by the time Arell stepped forward in front of the policemen.

"Dundee Randall Benoit! Now I leave you alone fer FIVE minutes an' you already in trouble!" Arell growled and looked at the police officers and smiled through the burns.

"Hi, officers. Now listen, I happen t' know a certain detective that would be curious as to why you're arrestin' de GOOD GUYS instead of a certain fellah you just let slip past." the older Cajun growled. "If you would kindly explain dat, things'll be mighty nice."
