Jami nodded and switched off his saber, breathing heavily. This was a mark that he was improving. Unconciously, he ran his fingers through the Echani silver streak in his otherwise dirty blond hair and headed off to search through the Temple for something else to learn. He glanced into the meditation room and saw Alyssa and Adonis meditating. Curious, he leaned on the doorframe and watched the two.

Adonis sat meditating. "Something on your mind, Jami? You're welcome to join us." Adonis said aloud.

Jami shrugged slightly and sighed. "Just wondering if it's my fault Alyssa hasn't recieved much training. And even then I'm only mediocre in most things."

Adonis sighed. "It's true, training two padawan's is a bit straining. But you've made so much improvement Jami. And it's not your fault. I would hate for you to think that. And I'm confident in Alyssa's abilities. You are both great students, and I wouldn't change my mind either way."

Jami nodded slowly, his eyes glittering. "Do you think we'll get promoted soon? It would take some of the strain off of you, and you look like you're under a lot of stress."

Adonis chuckled. "Why are you so eager? Some padawans go years through training, while others...well, let's just say they were special cases. In light of recent events though, we'll see what happens. Everything put before us is a test. Whether you fail or pass these 'tests', depends on your performance."

Adonis cleared his throat before he spoke again. "The tests I speak of are not one's given by a Master or a teacher. They are events that shape what kind of Jedi you will become. They test your courage, faith, and mental state of mind. I forsee that we will all be put through some 'tests' very soon..."

Jami nodded and sighed sadly. "I see your point. I... was in that battle where Master Yoda and Bryce died, you know. I managed to write about it while it was going on." He handed his master the datapad, his eyes cold again.

((sorry for late post been busy))
While Kari did understand the reason he was gone, had it been anything else she might have had a problem. However his statement about the deaths of Master Yoda and Bryce is what she had a problem with. Glacian just didn't understand, thats all he seemed to be now is talk. Talk about being there, talk about helping but when it came down to it he was never there. Kari held back the want to cry infront of him, his statement was painful in more then just one way.
Oh! I'm so sorry not all of us seem to be as skilled as you are! Not all of us can a great Jedi Guardian like you are, but we did our best and one more person wouldn't have made that much of a difference! Kari was getting angry at him the more she spoke, but she had to get it out. The tears started to fall slowly down each side as she yelled, her feeling and her pride was hurt by his statement. How could you know if you could have made a difference at all, do you think we are so weak you could defeat anyone stronger then us? You have no idea what it is like to see someone you care so much about killed before your eyes, and being powerless to stop it!. How dare you think you could have saved Bryce or even myself when you have never been in a that situation, never felt yourself die inside when that happends.
Kari stormed off in a totaly different direction then Glacians ship. How dare he think he alone would have made all the difference. Kari made it all the way to her ship before she stopped, R3 was recharging after working on the ship. Kari leaned againest the ship, unable to hold back the emotions. Kari had always thought of them as a team, one incomplete without the other. However it now seemed the only person that needed them was herself.

Fina let out a sigh as she walked. There was too much sadness in the temple... She didn't blame anyone though, that was not the jedi way. She was even shaken to hear of the death of the two at the temple. In a way she couldn't help but think that perhaps she should have done more on Korriban... But then looking back there really was little to nothing more she could have done. The past, however, was just that. The past...
Fina made her way to the entrance of the temple and sat cross-legged at the top of the steps, closing her eyes and meditating...

((Ha. Zeth, Glacian, and Kari are like Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura from Naruto.....I'M NARUTO!))
The echoing cries of Kari disturbed Zeth from his training. Her feelings were hurt severely somehow and he would hate to leave her crying like that. Exiting the training room, Zeth followed her cries which led him to the bay where the ships were docked at, Kari letting her emotions run rampant. For the first time since he's known her, he felt it best to leave her be. Not even he was sure what to do, now that she has lost her only padawan. Her emotions almost made Zeth emotional as well and probably cry.
He turned and walked away, slowly.

[[hey, props for referencing Naruto. although no love triangle here. Though I hate Sasuke to my living core, I want him to die a painful death many times. I'd like to think Glacian is more like Yamato..]]
Glacian felt like he had been slapped, really that was all there was too it. Kair's words stung more than she knew as she ran off. Glacian couldn't let the conversation end there, he felt just as hurt by he statement.
Even though it still hurt, he ran after her, coming in only slightly after Zeth was out of sight. "Kari, you cannot say I've never lost someone like that. I may have not seen the instant my parents died, but when I saw their ship exploded moments after they put on the Raptor, I felt like I would never be whole again! They were my only family, I had no one else. I know what it's liek to lose Kari."
Glacian calmed himself before he said, "And it's not just that it was me that was missing from the fight. One more person can always make a difference. IN the history of the universe one person has been the cause of wars, peace, victory, defeat, love and hate. One more person always matters. We don't know what could have been stopped from happening, but the fact that we don't know, because I wasn't there, that's what ashames me the most. The possiblity that you could have been spared this, but wasn't, because of my actions. Kari, you're one of my oldest friends, I don't want to see you hurt."

Alyssa, breaking out of her state, eyed the datapad, not sure if she wanted to see it with all the terrible feelings she was having while she was unconcious.
Master, I'm not sure if I'm ready with a lightsaber, but if I get a good vibroblade that would go against lightsabers, that would be fine--the weight of my lightsaber has been throwing me off. I think my force powers are ready, though. I want to help...actually, I think I need to help. As a part of this order, it's a responsibility to all of us...
