"Mommy! Ada!" Miyuki waved her arms but didn't dare run because Sen-sen was on her head and Sen-sen had claws.
It didn't stop the fluffy cat though from grumbling about how Miyuki was being too bouncy again.

Earendil chuckled and waved when he saw Miyuki and Senka.
"Hello, Miyuki," he called back. "Did you have fun today?"

"Lots and lots of fun!" Miyuki pipped up, "The playground is much bigger now so a lot more can come on and play."
She made her way over to the grown ups. The little girl stared up at Cindy wondering if she came from Gaia because she had wings too.

"That's good," Earendil grinned. He saw Miyuki's look and smiled at her. "Miyuki, this is your aunt Cindy, she's your mother's sister. She came with Rhea's parents to come and visit Rhea and the babies."

"Oh... Hello!" Miyuki waved at her aunt.
It did not all bother her that her aunt was blond while her mother was black haired. She remembered enough of her mommy's family to know most were very different from each other.
"Hello there Miyuki, you've certainly grown," Cindy smiled, "And I see you and Senka are close."
It was no secret at first Senka had been quite jealous of Miyuki.

Earendil chuckled softly and knelt next to Miyuki. "She lives in the Borderlands. You don't remember back then, but you used to know her, too."
He wondered if she would remember anything more when they eventually returned to the Borderlands.

"Did I use to know a lot of people?" Miyuki asked.
Because it certainly seemed like it after a while, this hadn't been the first time she had been introduced to someone she apparently use to know.

Earendil laughed heartily at that.
"Yes, you did," he grinned, squeezing her shoulder and straightening once more. "You used to know an awful lot of people! But don't worry about it, you'll meet them all again when we go back there. There are some children there your age as well, or close to it, so you'll have friends there, too."
He chuckled again. "But now you'd best wash up for dinner, it's ready now, so be quick, all right?"

Miyuki ran off to wash up and put her candy away somewhere safe so she could have it later. Otherwise she might be tempted to eat it before dinner!

At dinner, the seating arrangement was such that Vergil ended up being next to Miyuki.
He sat on the table in front of his plate, using the utensils they had brought from home for him to use. At first he ignored Miyuki - until he saw her foxy ears. And then he decided that he would talk to her.
"Hey, you," he said, going to the other side of his plate so that he could look at her while he talked to her. "Who are you?"

Unlike Vergil, Miyuki was curious about Vergil because he was so small. She had never seen anyone so small before, he was like her doll.
"I'm Miyuki, what's your name?"

"Miyuki," Vergil murmured softly, thoughtfully. His eyes grew bright. "Oh, I remember you now! But you were just little the last time I saw you!" He grinned. "I'm Vergil! Vergil Winters."
He looked her over again. "Boy, you sure grew big fast," he said, his tone filled with awe.

So this was another person who she use to know, he also said he was a Winters. Did this mean he was someone from her family? It was quite possible, if there was anything Miyuki learned was that her family was really big.
"I guess so," Miyuki murmured remembering her last growth, "I don't remember much from when I was little."

"Well, you were just a baby," Vergil explained, "and you didn't come to the valley much, you were mostly at the ranch with Lin and Earendil. That's probably why."
He nibbled at a piece of meat. "Mother says you're going to be coming back to the Borderlands. Are you looking forward to it?"

They were? She didn't know that, but then again Miyuki knew she didn't think about anything beyond this trip. So she had to think about it for a second or two.
"I think so, there are a lot of people I've met and don't remember."
