"Speedy little thing," Jaeshan said cooly, flipping a lock of his blonde hair out of his face. "Wait until she stops, and then Taunt her!" he said, raising his voice ever so slightly. He waited until the Pikachu stopped, then growled, flicking his long, bushy black tail at the electric rodent.

((Doing other stuff too...I was hungry! O_o )) "Taunt?" repeated Kasiya, unsure of what that move did. "Use Double-Team!" she cried, hoping to up her chances that Shocker would not be hit. Instead, a snarl appeared on the Pikachu's face, and she dashed in, striking Mightyena hard in the side with a swift Quick Attack.
"What are you doing?" Kasiya yelled, looking confused. "I said Double Team!"

"It does just what its name says it does," Jaeshan replied with smirk. "It goads a Pokemon into attacking recklessly, just as your Pikachu did now. "Mightyena, use your Bite attack!"
Jaeshan smiled to himself, convienently forgetting to mention that Taunt works for the next round only.

The fact that she was still close to Mightyena made her an easy target. Shocker was unable to get away as Mightyena grabbed her tail with his teeth and sent her flying back towards Kasiya, who was starting to look everything but amused.
"Ooh, that's it. Now I'm mad too," she growled, and pointed at Mightyena. "Get that thing with a Thunderbolt!" she snarled.
"Pikachu!" Shocker growled, getting to all fours and glaring down the battlefield at her opponent. I have an even better idea, she mused, before leaping into the air and gathering as much electricity as she could. She gave a loud cry, launching a massive thunderbolt down on top of Mightyena. Kasiya nearly fell over backwards, for that wasn't Thunderbolt at all....it was the almighty Thunder!

Fuming at the overacting boy for playing it all 'cool', Mike's face turned bright red as he clenched his fists. Who does this jester think he is? How dare he hit on my friend! He grit his teeth watching this almost painful display of showmanship.
Besides, that's my gig!

"Wholy crap!" Was all Jaeshan could utter as the enormous bolt of lightning struck his Pokemon dead on. Mighyena clambered to his feet, some sparks still crackling over his body, but he seemed willing to go on. "Take Down!" cried Jaeshan, and his Pokemon barreled into the small yellow Pikachu as she landed after her attack.

Ryka cheered. When she saw Mightyena use taunt, she was amazed that Shocker didn't do as Kassie asked. But then, Ryka was astounded the most by Shocker's new attack - Thunder.

((I'm just being slow today. xd ))
The sight of the battle made Keegan feel as if he should be in one, but he remembered his Pokemon were still young and inexperienced. He leaned back, trying to enjoy the battle, his eyes widening as the Pikachu launched a devastating Thunder. "Someday you can learn that one," he told Electrike, who was looking at the Pikachu with stars in his eyes.
Big deal, thought Vulpix coldy. My Heat Wave is far cooler...I mean hotter...than any electric attack. He suddenly looked around, and over at the other Vulpix. Is she talking to me? he thought, looking around frantically.

Shocker breathed heavily as she landed, and was greeted with a face-full of Mightyena as he crashed into her at full tilt. Staggered, the Pikachu tried to shake it off.
"Come on, Shocker, you can do it!" Kasiya cried encouragingly. "Try another Thunder!"
Shocker blinked at her. Woman, you're nuts! she thought, realizing she couldn't gather that much electricity that quickly. You'll have to settle for a Thundershock, that's all I've got left. Shocker pushed out the jolt of lightning from her cheeks, but it fizzled out as it neared the opponent.

We've got her! Jaeshan thought suddenly. "Tackle her!"
Mighyena gave a low growl, and rushed the Pikachu, sending her flying yet again.

Kasiya cried out in horror as her Pikachu was sent flying backwards. She caught the little mouse in her arms as she fainted instantly, her eyes closed tightly. She kissed her forehead gently, and recalled her, an indistinguishable look on her face. She glanced up, noting Mightyena seemed to crackle with electricity. Static, she thought excitedly. He's paralyzed now! She held up a Pokeball in her hands, her other hand still cradling Shocker's ball. "I choose you, Seto!"
The Persian appeared in front of her, licking his chops hungrily. It seemed the massive feline was itching for a fight.

Ryka winced as Shocker was thrown into the air. "Uh oh.. don't give up, Shocker!" Ryka yelled. Ahh, this is too confusing. i want Kassie to win, and yet I don't want Jaeshan to lose..
Vixen kept looking at the other Vulpix. When he looked at her, she nodded her head.

"Harsh," Keegan moaned, looking away as the Pikachu was defeated. Subconsciously, he scooped up Electrike in his arms, who nuzzled him happily. "Defeats come hand in hand with losses," he said, looking down at his flirtatious Vulpix. He seemed to be giving the eye to that cute girl Vulpix next to Ryka.
"Go say hello," he said encouragingly. And as if to read his mind, he added, "you look great!"

"This will be good," he chuckled. "Use Bite, Mighyena!"
Mightyena took a step forward, but stopped and fell to the ground as the static seemed to take effect.
"Paralysis...aw crap!" Jaeshan moaned, waiting for the Persian to finish him off.

Nitro and Portabello walked alongside each other towards the new guy Keegan, just glancing at the new trainers. They peered at Ryka and then back at Mike, who was still glaring lasers at Keegan. The two shrugged and waved at the Vulpix, both feeling rather social today.
"Always nice to see another fire Pokemon." said Nitro to his friend.
Portabello soon whirled around and sat down, watching the fight. "So many people."
