I'd say a good 98% percent of the alarms we get during backshift we have to make at min. one call on. And on this shift, we can get anywhere from 50 alarms to a few hundred.

Well, the nights aren't to bad. Usually have time to kick back and relex for awhile. On normal nights we have 4 people working, 2 here and 2 in an office in another city, so even if we get say 200 alarms one night, if everyone does an equal share, thats only 50 alarms each. So myself and my normal backshift partner, usually kick back adn watch some tv shows, or a movie or two in between alarms.

I just read this really cool thing. It's called Cannibal Run. A race from coast to coast and it's full of Zombies! That would be HELLA fun!

I am really trying to get over this writer's block I have. When I do feel like writing something happens. I feel guilty over letting my guild die like this.

if you try to force yourself to get over a writers block, it will never happen, you have to let teh writing come naturally.
