Daiguren smiled after hearing the two lycans talk, he would wait till he had a good opportunity to attack Ceon. Listening to them leave he dropped to the side walk and began to head toward the other end of the park.

Amnity saw that there was something wrong with Mephlius. He looked conflicted and he was breathing heavily. Placing a gentle hand on his shoulder, she asked. "Mephlius?...Are you alright?.."

Mephlius snapped out of it slightly, but his thoughts were still racing. "Wait here a second... there's someone I have to consult..." He stood up, and walked to the lake. He took a deep breath, and looked into his reflection.

Amnity blinked a few times....She thought this was a bit strange, but said nothing. Leaning back against the bench, she cocked her head to the side and wondered what he's doing. She opened her mouth to ask him whats wrong again...Then decided not to.

He saw exactly what he needed to see. Now it's up to luck... He swallowed hard, and turned around. He sat down next to Amnity on the bench. His mouth was dry, as he thought hard of what to say. "Am... remember a few weeks ago... when I talked about my reflection? How, when I looked at it... you were by my side... but then I turned around, and you weren't there?"

Amnity nodded, a bit confused to why he suddenly brought it up. "Yeah...I remember." A smile came to her face. "You said you were just what you wanted to be...And I'm happy for you....Why?"

Like a normal mortal, Alasdair walked into the park, holding his arms across his chest. It was still rather chilly for him in New York, and he liked to blend in with the mortals. He had just come out of the warm night club.
As Alasdair walked into the Park he grinned because he knew that there would probably be hunters around the park, it seemed to be a regular hanging spot for them. Alasdair could see why they liked the park, but it always felt like a serene place. It was no place to be looking for fights.
So Alasdair walked into the heart of the park, making his way to the bridge over the lake. He knew that there would probably be a confrontation, that’s why he had called Lui a short while ago. So if things got complicated, he was just a few minutes away.
