Thank you Sir, By my time, I'm a hour into it. Nice to meet you to. I'm Angel, Owner of the Guild. I used to be really active then well...I'm either sick or saving animals. I do plan however to get this place rocking once more if all I do is post once a day. So...are you new or do I know you by a different avatar?

Have you guys seen the new energizer bunny commercials with the big grey man bunny. I want to rip his ears off. Am I the only one with loathing for him?

Entwined Within Chaos Ali, if you ever need help or ino on computer, let me know. Few years ago I worked for a computer company, building desktops and security systems. Okay then. I decided to upgrade my computer and bought myself a Intel Quad Core, a 650W PSU and the ASUS P5Q SE2 Motherboard. ( Image of it.)I already have 2GB Ram and a Nvidia Geforce 9800GT Graphics card. When I put it in the first time and flipped the power on, the green light in the lower part of the motherboard light up to indicate that the power was on, but when I pressed the on button then nothing happened, not a sound and no fans moving. Just today got my motherboard back as I thought it was a defect, it wasn't so now I'm thinking that maybe I put the wire to the on button wrong on the motherboard and as such I'm now wondering where the heck do I put those darn small wires. If that's not the case then I can only assume it's the PSU that's a defect. xd

Even though im not a fan of Asus, thats a sweet looking board. Here is the one I plan on getting - board/cpu comboGoing by that pic your posted, I can't really tell were the connectors are. But, your mobo should have came with some documents that indicate what goes where and so forth. check to make sure the power wires are not kinked or anything, more sure that the connectors themselves are not damaged as its very easy to break the smaller ones, and also follow the wires back to the on button itself to make sure they are secure with the button... I had the happen to me before when switching a mobo for a client, the wires came loose from the On button itself, which caused the same problem. Edit: Just a random though, and I am more the likely wrong, but is the power supply big enough to run all the parts of your computer? If all the wires are fine, try booting up with just the bare equipment... mobo, cpu, hdd and fans

Because my Graphics card works just fine on my old 350W.
But I'll try to build it up this Saturday and hopefully It'll work like a charm.
